There is no psychological or physical dependence on psychedelic substances. So why are they illegal?

The greatest madness ever invented is to declare substances for which there is no addiction illegal. These are the most absurd laws ever invented. It has been proven at an academic scientific level that there is no psychological or physical addiction to the vast majority of hallucinogenic psychedelic substances.

It is time for the laws to change and for these substances to become legal.

No scientific studies/research can be found to prove a possible addiction to LSD, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), DMT (ayahuasca), or hallucinogenic cactus. There is rather evidence to the contrary, that there is no addiction to them.

Psychiatrists have never had to treat any patient for addiction to these substances, so there is no scientific evidence of their addiction. If addiction to these substances existed, it would have been known for a long time and would have been proven and documented in scientific publications.

Of the hallucinogenic substances, the potential for addiction has only been proven for the mildly hallucinogenic MDMA (ecstasy), ketamine, PCP (phencyclidine), or some newly discovered substances. Hypothetically, there could also be an addiction to the hallucinogen muscimol (Amanita muscaria), which is unfortunately a poorly researched substance.

For the vast majority of substances referred to as psychedelic, psychological or physical dependence has not been proven. Overall, psychedelic substances are known to not cause any health damage under normal circumstances, unlike addictive substances. In contrast, addictive substances cause very significant health damage.

The highest quality scientific articles on psychedelic substances can be found on the website of the American organization under the US government, "National Institute on Drug Abuse (Science of Drug Abuse and Addiction)" . It is an organization whose main goal is to conduct proper scientific research on drug addiction and inform the publichttp://www.drugabuse.gov/about-nida

There is not a single word on their entire page that there is an addiction to LSD, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), and DMT (ayahuasca) or hallucinogenic cactus (peyote).

More information
Psychedelic substances are incomparably safer than marijuana in terms of the risk of mental disorders. Marijuana is a GABA antagonist and a 5-HT (i.e., serotonin) antagonist, which means it is a substance that strongly induces depression. Depressive experiences with cannabis are the most common among all psychoactive substances, although positive experiences can also occur. Cannabis is also a very strong trigger for schizophrenia. Furthermore, cannabis with a high THC content and low CBD content can also trigger or directly induce symptoms of epilepsy, as it is a GABA antagonist. Psychedelic substances cannot be compared to marijuana in terms of the risk of mental disorders; the risk is incomparably lower.

As for military research , one shamanic scholar with extensive experience mentioned that armies use this knowledge for espionage. Psychedelic substances can cause a person to have an out-of-body experience, also called astral travel or astral projection.

But otherwise, I am in favor of science dealing with the research of psychoactive substances as much as possible. There is already a lot of information on the Internet about individual non-addictive psychoactive substances, but on the other hand, there is still little information, it is still not enough, and there is enough scientific research only on very well-known substances.

I am very fascinated to study in detail the principle of operation of these substances – it is extremely complex but also very interesting. But there is still a lot of missing information and I would be glad if scientists would add it.

The more scientific knowledge a person has about these substances, the better they will be able to avoid even the smallest risks and have a psychedelic experience in the best possible quality and without complications.

For example, with DMT and psilocybin (magic mushrooms), which increase the activity of serotonin receptors, I see a slightly different risk. A side effect is vomiting , because serotonin receptors are found not only in the brain but also in the digestive system.

Also, these substances are not suitable for people with heart problems , because serotonin receptors are also in the heart and their high activity can cause arrhythmias, fibrillation, and the like. This could also cause death in people seriously ill with heart disease.

However, if an anti-emetic drug that works by reducing the activity of serotonin receptors were used alongside DMT, it could "zero out" both of the aforementioned side effects of DMT and psilocybin. And since such a drug does not cross the blood-brain barrier into the brain, it will not cancel the psychoactive effect of DMT/psilocybin and it will be preserved.
So, by using this drug, even a person with serious heart problems could afford to use DMT without it harming them. And there will be no vomiting.

There is a conspiracy theory that the shadow government does not want us to be able to grow spiritually through psychedelic substances. With psychedelic substances, a person experiences spiritual experiences.
Also, based on a different state of consciousness, we would be able to find solutions to unsolvable problems and we would have less suffering in life.

LSD and the active substances of Salvia divinorum are considered to be the most effective psychoactive substances. They are effective even at a few tens of micrograms, which is about the size of a grain of salt. Therefore, because of such a small amount, LSD is sold impregnated on a small piece of paper (which is an ingenious invention, they really came up with something good), it is placed on the tongue, dissolves and begins to take effect.
Substances with the lowest efficacy include, for example, mescaline (cactus), which is administered at a dose of 400 milligrams, or 400,000 micrograms.
The dose of DMT and psilocybin ranges between 30-70 milligrams.

Under the influence of a psychedelic substance, it is recommended to lie down with your eyes closed , not to stand or sit. An out-of-body experience (which is perceived as the highest psychedelic experience) can only be experienced while lying down. Even if an out-of-body experience does not occur, a person will certainly have vivid dreams, which are a higher quality psychedelic experience than hallucinations with open eyes.
If a person is not lying down, but sitting or standing, there is a risk that the person may harm themselves under the influence of hallucinations.
Do not eat any food 24 hours before the psychedelic experience, so that there is nothing to vomit, so that you do not choke on vomit while lying down, because that could hypothetically happen. You should not eat, just like before surgery under general anesthesia.

Furthermore, most Parkinson's drugs, such as dopamine agonists, also have the unpleasant side effect of increasing the activity of serotonin receptors with 4000 times greater efficacy than DMT or psilocybin. Psychedelic substances are far safer than Parkinson's drugs, under the influence of which a person is for a long time. The heart of a Parkinson's patient has a lot to do to endure it and undoubtedly it will shorten his life very significantly.

LSD has an effect of up to 12 hours , which makes this substance impractical and it is not a substance that I would highly recommend. Even after those 12 hours, hypothetically, for another 12 hours, there may be certain occasional "aftereffects" of this substance, and this is called a flashback .

Case of addictive substances
Psychological dependence is sometimes a slightly greater driver of addiction than physical dependence. Pervitin (which only causes psychological dependence) has an even greater overall potential for addiction than, for example, heroin, which causes both psychological and physical dependence simultaneously.
