There, one understands why it is so important to legalize DMT.
Characteristics of DMT:
– it is one of the so-called psychedelics, and there is no physical or psychological dependence on psychedelics. There is not a single person in the world who is addicted to psychedelics, e.g. LSD (which is also a psychedelic). There is no addiction to DMT, and therefore it makes no sense and is meaningless to illegalize it.
-DMT, given that it has a chemically similar structure to serotonin, so under the influence of DMT there is never a risk that any incidents (harm to oneself or others) could occur due to delirium, because such a person is not very active. A person under the influence of this substance can sleep peacefully on the bed.
-DMT is a harmless and very safe substance
The UN and the state have dared to do something extremely controversial. To make a natural human hormone illegal is an absolute absurdity.
According to Slovak laws and international law, anyone who possesses or owns a prohibited psychotropic substance in any quantity violates the law. This means that in Slovakia, all citizens violate the law because they all naturally have DMT in their bodies in small quantities. What kind of nonsensical law is this when everyone violates the law? Are we all supposed to take some psychiatric drugs that inhibit even the last DMT we have in our bodies?
And by the way, when the state power banned DMT, then we can declare almost all hormones that we have in our body illegal. Psychoactive substances that we have in our body include adrenaline, noradrenaline, testosterone, and estrogen. And noradrenaline is such a strong psychoactive substance that its level is increased by psychiatric antidepressant drugs. Noradrenaline is an antidepressant and is also used in psychiatric practice.
Estrogen is such a potent psychoactive substance that its deficiency causes depression in women. According to the latest scientific findings, we know that premenstrual syndrome, which many women suffer from, is caused by a lack of estrogen.
A side note: drug addiction is caused by the fact that they increase the level of the neurotransmitter dopamine . However, dopamine is not able to pass through the blood-brain barrier, so if we inject pure dopamine into a person's veins, it will have no effect on their psyche. The amount of dopamine in the blood is similar to noradrenaline. The effects of dopamine in the body outside the brain are exactly the same as noradrenaline, because they have a very similar chemical structure: it increases blood pressure, accelerates the heartbeat, and constricts blood vessels.
People today are rebelling and demonstrating against state power. However, as I have pointed out many times, human stupidity knows no bounds. People have no goals, no visions, they do not know what needs to be changed in the laws and in this society. If, instead of senseless rebellion against state power, people would rather demonstrate for what is reasonable – for the legalization of DMT.
There are already activists who are in favor of the legalization of cannabis. But unfortunately, there are no people who would be in favor of the legalization of DMT. If only those activists who are in favor of the legalization of cannabis had a little intelligence and would also fight for the legalization of DMT at the same time. But human stupidity knows no bounds, cannabis activists will ignore DMT.
I personally am in favor of the complete legalization of DMT, to the extent that it will be freely sold in pharmacies.
There are different degrees of "illegalization" of psychedelics.
It would not be bad to at least enforce the same laws as in the Czech Republic.
In the Czech Republic, marijuana and psychedelics are in the same class. In the Czech Republic, marijuana is "decriminalized" (so psychedelics are also decriminalized) and, as far as I know, possession of a certain amount of marijuana is an offense that is only fined, similar to a traffic offense.
What is very important, however, is that the laws on psychedelics are at least minimally relaxed.
I think that would be enough to mitigate the laws on psychedelics if they were only on the list of controlled substances and nothing more. There, for possession of psychedelics, as far as I know, it could perhaps be very mild.
A side note: I am not an excessive supporter of marijuana, because this substance increases the activity of dopamine receptors, which could cause addiction with long-term permanent use. Dopamine causes drug addiction.
To avoid the possibility of marijuana addiction, the following rules must be observed:
– do not use it daily, but at most once every three days
– Take only small doses. Do not take large, sudden doses.
Ways of administering DMT
-DMT is contained in the liana ayahuasca
– Pure DMT is ineffective when administered orally. DMT is effective when taken orally only if combined with an MAO inhibitor, which, among other things, are psychiatric antidepressant drugs. MAO inhibitors are also contained in some plants in the rainforest, and natives combine ayahuasca with these plants. The disadvantage of MAO inhibitors is that if combined with certain foods containing tyrosine (e.g., fermented dairy products, cheese, yogurt, or smoked meat), they can cause dangerously high blood pressure.

DMT and LSD as a cure for drug addiction
One expert who researched LSD for the purpose of getting rid of alcohol addiction found that LSD is extremely effective in breaking the human ego in a positive sense. And that is the most important thing for an addict. An addict is stubborn and does not even want to get rid of the addiction.
