The highest quality form of psychedelic experience can be considered so-called lucid dreams. With psychedelic substances such as LSD, a person can experience interesting hallucinations and the like, but the highest quality psychedelic experiences are lucid dreams. Psychedelic substances should be used correctly during sleep, lying down, relaxed, with eyes closed. What is a lucid dream: when experiencing a lucid dream, a person feels that they are really in that reality, that the dream is real. When experiencing this dream, a person often cannot distinguish whether it is a dream or reality. In a lucid dream, however, the physical laws on this planet can be violated. Some people are naturally capable of lucid dreams or astral travel, and this can be caused by the following factors: atypical brain structure, atypically more or less activated nerve receptors in the brain, low or high levels of certain neurotransmitters, and of course, a strong spiritual factor also plays a role. It is said that the ability of astral travel is very close to lucid dreams.
What substances help with vivid dreams? Metoprolol : a cheap generic drug also available on the Slovak pharmaceutical market. It is available by prescription and indicated for hypertension. Vivid dreams are a very well-known side effect. If you visit several pharmacies, some pharmacists may be willing to sell it to you without a prescription. In addition to being a beta-blocker, this drug easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and therefore may have strong psychoactive properties. It generally acts against anxiety, but in another person, it can also cause depression. Some people may have normal sleep, others may experience vivid dreams, and others may have nightmares. Pervitin, also known as Methamphetamine, stimulants: pervitin: it is a very addictive substance, so I do not recommend it in practice. It is well known that this substance causes vivid dreams. It induces dreams based on increased activity of dopamine and serotonin receptors. However, there is also a less addictive form of methamphetamine (chemically similar substances), such as psychiatric drugs for ADHD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylphenidate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bupropion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stimulant
NMDA receptor antagonists: these drugs are indicated in Slovakia for people with Alzheimer's disease, they slow down the death of nerve cells. Scientific studies have shown that these drugs are also very beneficial for schizophrenics, there is also an NMDA theory of the cause of schizophrenia. The downside is that these substances can also be addictive, but not all of them are on the list of banned substances, as far as I know http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NMDA_receptor_antagonist

Easily accessible psychoactive substances Vitamin B6: you can find a lot of information on the internet about how it has induced vivid dreams in people. 3 active substances of vitamin B6 are strikingly similar to other psychoactive psychedelic substances. This is a number of substances listed under mescaline.

and I have only mentioned some, not all, that are similar to B6 in chemical molecular structure. The dose of the vitamin should be quite high, 100-200 mg. Up to 200 mg is considered a safe dose. Above 1000 mg, permanent neurological damage has been recorded. The principle of B6 is that it helps in the synthesis of serotonin and dopamine, so the level of both substances should increase after taking the vitamin.
Tryptophan: a bioprecursor (prodrug) of serotonin. Chemically very similar to serotonin, psychoactive in itself. Available over the counter in pharmacies. All psychedelic substances increase the activity of serotonin receptors, and tryptophan does the same, just in a slightly different way. Some people also report vivid dreams with this substance.
Phenylalanine: available over-the-counter in pharmacies. I consider this substance to be one of the most suitable substances for the purpose of lucid dreams. It is a precursor to dopamine, and overall, it increases brain activity in a certain way.
Choline with vitamin B5: Both substances are available over-the-counter in pharmacies. For this to have the desired effect, the dose of both substances must be sufficiently high. The goal is to increase the activity of muscarinic-acetylcholine receptors (increasing acetylcholine levels), which is reduced during normal sleep, hindering wakefulness and dream recall. Experimenters with vivid dreams have had good experiences with both substances. There are also neurological drugs that increase the activity of these receptors. I generally consider these drugs safe; unless someone overdoses extremely, there is no risk of permanent damage. Melatonin: a sleep hormone, available over-the-counter in pharmacies. It is safe, and I recommend it the most. It is scientifically proven to increase the REM phase of sleep (at a dose of more than 5 mg), thus also dreaming. Melatonin is an agonist to serotonin; they have a very similar chemical structure. DMT is also very similar to serotonin, and its usual dose is 20-50mg. The dose of melatonin should not be below 20 mg to achieve the proper psychoactive/psychedelic effect. Melatonin is sold in tiny doses (relative to achieving a psychedelic experience), only 1-5 mg per tablet.
Do not use melatonin more often than once every 10 days to avoid developing a tolerance to it. Follow the same rule for all other substances mentioned here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melatonin#Dreaming
Overall, I would probably recommend a combination of melatonin with phenylalanine the most.
Contraindications: I do not recommend combining vitamin B6 with phenylalanine, tryptophan, or melatonin. Do not combine stimulants with tryptophan or phenylalanine. Do not combine any psychedelic substances with tryptophan and melatonin. Do not combine LSD with phenylalanine. ******************************************************************* The importance of adrenaline alpha 2 agonists for Lucid Dreaming and Astral Travel. Clonidine and guanfacine also have the side effect of drowsiness (in high doses, veterinarians use them as general anesthetics for animals), so they are suitable for, say, Lucid Dreaming during the day, or even AC during the day. Of course, the dose must be precise so that one is not too sleepy.
Clonidine is used in doses as low as 0.1 mg per tablet (common beta-blockers are in doses of about 30 mg, so they are 300 times weaker). It is a record-holder in terms of potency, and it is very gentle because it is only a minimal amount of foreign chemicals in the body. ******************************************************************* Huperzine is therefore a very interesting substance. It is an NMDA antagonist, which means it has similar effects to ketamine or DXM. It also acts on nicotinic receptors, which improves alertness and memory during dreams. However, huperzine is not addictive; dependence cannot develop from it.
Galantamine increases the activity of nicotinic receptors. https://www.adcc.sk/web/humanne-lieky/ucinna-latka/galantamin-5356.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galantamine
Varenicline is also a good thing for LS https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vareniklin
Nicotine is extremely addictive, but with nicotine agonist drugs, you don't have to worry about becoming addicted. This cannot happen under any circumstances. Nicotine is addictive only because, in addition to nicotine receptors, it also acts as an agonist on dopamine receptors.
I highly recommend, for example, 20 mg of melatonin, which is a bit of a "mega" dose. If you take such a dose, you are 100% guaranteed to have quality lucid dreams.
The combination of vitamin B5 and choline also increases the activity of nicotine receptors. It is difficult to say whether it is reasonable to take these nutritional supplements just before bedtime or a few hours before bedtime. The metabolism could also be longer in time.
