Coincidentally, I managed to find out that there is a Czech Psychedelic Society, which is mainly made up of Czech psychiatrists . I was very surprised and very pleased that such a thing exists at all.

Manifesto of the Czech Psychedelic Society
The Czech Psychedelic Society (CZEPS) was established to create a space for open discussion about psychedelic substances, their benefits, and risks. We want to provide access to new knowledge and support research in this area. Through our activities, we would like to build on the legacy of the Czech Republic as one of the centers of psychedelic research in the 1960s.
We are aware of the persistent disregard of the potential benefits of using psychedelic substances by both the legislature and the public. This is despite the increasing number of studies pointing to their usefulness and relative safety.
We believe in the importance of change, to which we want to actively contribute. We want to provide both the professional and lay public with access to information about the potential benefits and limitations of the use of psychedelic substances in medicine and psychotherapy, based on current empirical research.
They point to the possibilities of therapeutic use of psychedelics in the treatment of addictions, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety or depression. Sometimes it could be a more effective treatment with significantly fewer side effects than current standard therapeutic procedures. Psychedelics could offer hope especially in cases that are resistant to conventional treatment. Current knowledge suggests a wide use of psychedelic substances in psychotherapy, as well as for the study of psychotic diseases (e.g. schizophrenia) and human consciousness. Another area where psychedelic substances could play an important role is the education of mental health professionals (including self-experience developing an understanding of some symptoms of mental illness).
The risks of controlled use of psychedelics seem to be minimal so far. However, due to the restrictive legislation, to which we have fundamental objections, we rarely encounter their use in clinical and academic settings.
Our area of interest is multidisciplinary, as we believe that this knowledge should be interconnected and shared across disciplines. By sharing relevant information between the professional and lay public, we want to contribute to the destigmatization of psychedelics. We do not support the recreational use of psychedelic substances, but by increasing awareness, we want to contribute to the reduction of risks and negative experiences associated with them.
