On August 6, 2021, a historically significant event took place that escaped the attention of the media. Even the little that the media reported was often very distorted and misleading information. For example, the number of demonstrators was misleading, as there were approximately 400 to 500 , not a few dozen.
While the ministry secretaries wanted to push through the reform of national parks without any discussion with experts, the government eventually ordered them to have a discussion with experts. The ministry secretaries eventually had to go to the regions of the national parks and discuss with experts and stakeholders at the government’s command.
The parliamentary committee ordered Smatana to hold a discussion with experts, affected entities, and non-state forest owners. Under very humiliating and demeaning circumstances, Smatana had to obey this order from the parliamentary committee.
The media also forgot to point out how much Secretary Smatana and Minister Budaj fear the justly angry public, as they fled through the back entrance from the discussions about the Muránska planina National Park.
Experts strongly opposed Juraj Smatana for his lack of expertise, to the point where I felt sorry for him. Well, he has only himself to blame; if he had listened to experts from the beginning of his work at the ministry, he wouldn’t have to face such criticism in discussions now. The discussions woke him from his slumber to the harsh reality that his ecoterrorist theories about nature protection do not hold. Learn more about Smatana, who he really is, in this video and article .
After this argumentative thrashing by experts, Mr. Smatana has two options: either he changes, undergoes a personality conversion, stops perceiving experts as enemies and starts perceiving them as equal partners, or he becomes even more embittered and perceives experts as greater enemies than before.
Mr. Smatana clearly perceives the countryside as his enemy. He also views experts and the professional community as enemies. Even moderate ecological extremists criticize him and have no understanding for him . Erik Baláž criticized the bear intervention team, stating that relocating bears is unnecessary and they will return to the vicinity of people, which indeed happened, as well as the dictatorial practices of the attempt to “reform” national parks.
Slovakia vs Czechia. Despite this, protected animals in Slovakia cause far greater damage than in Czechia, while in Czechia far greater compensation for damages was paid than in Slovakia. For example, if a bear or wolf tears apart a sheep or other domestic or farm animal. The Slovak Ministry of the Environment has made the countryside its enemy. The legislation requires unrealistically high demands for compensation to be paid. Smatana’s amendment to the decree further complicates compensation. After all, why not make enemies of the rural population? Why not punish the rural population? The amendment to the decree was made in an atmosphere where open hatred against shepherds was spread on environmentalist FB groups, spread by a crazy extremist core of environmental activists.
Mr. Smatana, who has completely taken over the ministry, does not do politics for either one percent or half a percent of the citizens of Slovakia. He does politics only for the most extremist core of environmental activists from social networks, who number only a few dozen in absolute terms. I consider it insane to do politics for a few dozen people and to ignore the will of the other 5.5 million citizens.
Even the half-mad MP Milan Mazurek, if he became Minister of the Environment, would cause less damage than Mr. Smatana.
At first, Juraj Smatana made a statement on Facebook against mowing meadows , but later, thankfully, he changed his mind and corrected his controversial statements . Smatana is known for interfering with the management of the State Nature Protection, and were it not for this correction of his views, employees of the State Nature Protection would be afraid that they would face unpleasant consequences for mowing meadows.
On August 6, 2021, in the town of Svit, where TANAP has its administrative center, forestry organizations organized larger demonstrations. Despite the large event, the media was not very interested in the citizens’ problems. Perhaps the media was not called, perhaps it was intentional censorship. STV was the only television station there, and it produced an extremely biased report , where the opinions of the protesters were only mentioned very marginally. Well, political correctness and the media’s fear of calling things by their true name did their job.
The foresters’ protest was given a bad name because the event was also attended by crazy activists from the Civic Tribunal . The protest also had the support of Facebook pages and groups of anti-vaxxers, so several media outlets apparently confused the foresters’ event with an anti-vaxxer anti-government protest, of which there have been many recently. However, I saw a video where an anti-vaxxer accidentally got to the microphone, and one of the organizers, Ján Lach, stated that they were forbidden to talk about vaccines at the protest, that the protests were focused on forestry, not vaccines. For a brief moment, the crazy people from the Civic Tribunal also accidentally got to the microphone.
One of the organizers of the protests was Ing. Rudolf Huliak. Despite having several flaws and not agreeing with some of his political and ideological views, Rudolf Huliak is a true expert in the fields of hunting, forestry, and nature conservation, and he understands these areas and has reasonable opinions. Mr. Huliak is the expert forest manager of the Očová village forests, he is the head of these forests, so he has every reason to understand forestry well. Not all media or politicians understood this.
Given that Mr. Huliak is a member of the board of the Hunting Chamber, he is also a top expert in the field of hunting and large carnivores.
We Are the Forest Initiative
The We Are the Forest initiative has a lot of money, which forestry organizations could only dream of. This initiative reminds us more of a PR marketing agency than activists. For those who don’t know what a marketing agency is, I’ll briefly explain: a marketing agency helps companies with advertising and brand building. For example, the Alza store has a Martian alien in its symbol and advertisements. Marketing agencies also work for political parties, helping them with pre-election campaigns, coming up with slogans for billboards, advising politicians on how to appear in the media, and advising politicians on how to best manipulate voters and bring them to their side. One marketing agency can work for several opposing political parties.
But to get back to the topic. The We Are the Forest initiative clearly has a marketing agency behind it, and its activities are more reminiscent of political propaganda than serious activism. Their slogans and disinformation are marketing-attractive, catchy, and popular. Disinformation can be spread easily, unlike serious facts about forest ecosystems. While you can spread disinformation in one sentence, explaining forest ecosystems by an experienced expert requires long lectures. The marketing agency proposed a marketing slogan for this initiative with the motto “Let’s liberate” plus they added a symbol of a broken chain , which had to be created by an experienced graphic designer at the suggestion of the marketing agency. Forestry organizations can only dream of such large sums of money as this pseudo-environmental initiative.
While environmental extremists are very good at marketing, forestry organizations often fail in communication, thus failing to sufficiently sway public opinion to their side.
While environmental extremists like My sme les (We Are the Forest) publish emotional photos of trucks leaving national parks with wood, forest owners claim that environmental extremists are criticizing what they themselves have caused. Eco-activists fight against the processing of wind-damaged and bark beetle-infested wood, and the bark beetle spreads uncontrollably. Eco-activists overwhelm courts and authorities with complaints. And infested trees are removed after court and official delays, even after more than a year. The authorities wait, but the bark beetle does not; it spreads. In the event of a calamity, intervention is needed within a few days. If the calamity were processed in time, foresters would not have to harvest nearly as much. Not to mention that calamity logging is financially loss-making, which someone unfamiliar with forestry can hardly understand.
Recently, the viewership of social networks on the topic of forestry and in forestry FB pages and groups has increased, and the awareness of the professional public about forestry is also increasing. Forestry experts and forestry organizations can reach a larger number of fans through social networks. The public also has the opportunity to learn quality information or refute disinformation from eco-activists such as My sme les and others. On the FB page My sme les, I noticed that there is mostly a predominance of negative comments and refutations of the disinformation of this marketing initiative, which was unimaginable in the past. When journalists, who undoubtedly read them, see this, it results in them being more cautious and presenting the positions of this initiative in the media less than in the past, which can be seen as a positive change.
The We Are the Forest initiative is shrouded in mystery, it has no clear organizational structure, and no association is directly behind it. It is sponsored by at least two foundations, including OSF and one other, plus they have corporate and individual sponsors. It is quite questionable who the ultimate beneficiary of this opaque group, which is very well funded, is. Every company and every individual who wants to support them financially should think about this. It is also questionable whether the functioning of such an informal group is legal.
In the past, the most prominent face of My sme les was Karol Kališský , currently it is Marek Kuchta, who seems to me more like a puppet of someone more influential.
If you click on 2% of taxes and individual financial support for My sme les, you will be redirected to the Aevis Foundation. which is backed by Erik Baláž and the extremely controversial Michal Wiezik, although these two gentlemen may not be the ultimate beneficial owners.
The We Are the Forest initiative is funded by the Norwegian Funds and the Open Society Foundation. The employees of these foundations do not have a forestry education to be able to assess whether they have supported a good project.
The We Are the Forest initiative was behind the EU lawsuit against Slovakia, allegedly due to weak protection of the capercaillie . Slovakia has a suspiciously large number of environmental infringements from the EU, due to whistleblowers from NGOs. The corruption scheme is simple. First, bombard the European Commission with emotions and disinformation, such as nature being destroyed and the capercaillie dying out, create a huge campaign based on emotions, and then ask the European Commission to approve subsidies for dubious projects, fictitiously repeated monitoring for associations. And indeed, after the successful denunciation by We Are the Forest, the EU actually gave half a million euros to an association close to We Are the Forest for the protection of the capercaillie.
The We Are the Forest initiative has recently become quite radicalized and is aggressively attacking Minister Vlčan with disinformation and low-quality studies taken out of context, while he is only quoting high-quality, comprehensive, and numerically supported scientific research. It is said that conservationists and foresters should find common ground. However, We Are the Forest is preventing a serious dialogue with its aggressive attacks and is creating hatred and tension, driving a wedge between the two groups.
While foresters, experts on forest ecosystems, argue with facts and research, the extremists from My sme les have no choice but to manipulate emotions and exploit the ignorance of the lay public on this complex issue.
Despite the fact that the extremists from My sme les blocked us on their FB page and there are certainly more of us, the prevalence of critical comments against them is still visible. They could not stand factual arguments.
The authors of the disinformation campaign My sme les have already succumbed to total despair. They have no support among experts, so they have no choice but to boast that the deformation of national parks is supported by the non-expert public , the Concerned Mothers , who do not understand forest ecosystems at all. A sensational success! Congratulations! 😂 🤣😅😂 🤣😅
The madmen from the disinformation campaign ” We are the forest ” aggressively attacked the recognized scientific institution National Forest Centre (NLC) 😠. But the NLC is defending itself against this stupid attack, and that’s the right thing to do! 👏 💪 👍 The fools from “We are the forest” have really embarrassed themselves!! 🤣. Good for them. “We are the forest” has no support from experts.
It should be appreciated that Lesy SR have taken courage 💪 and are defending themselves against the inflammatory disinformation of the My sme les initiative, which aims to divide society 👍👍. We must defend ourselves, because whoever does not defend themselves will lose.
The Ministry of the Environmentappointed Marek Kuchta from ” My sme les ” as the head of NAPANT. Who is Marek Kuchta? He is not an expert in nature conservation or forestry at all. However, he is a professional in manipulation as an entrepreneur in the field of marketing. What exactly is PR marketing? Marketing is taught at the Department of Marketing Communication. The goal of a marketing agency is to use all knowledge from psychology to manipulate people as much as possible so that they buy a given product as part of an advertisement or vote for a specific political party. Also, almost every political party pays a marketing agency to create and manage their pre-election campaign. They also advise politicians on what to say in the media so that their political party maintains its preferences throughout the entire electoral term. The political advertising campaign for the reform of national parks with the slogan “Let’s liberate” was done even better than the average pre-election campaign of a political party – after all, they had a strong motivation for it – because the goal of the reform is to steal EU funds. In the theatrical “selection process” for the position of head of NAPANT, Kuchta openly admitted that he used his marketing knowledge for a manipulative, disinformation, hateful campaign against foresters. Foresters do not have their own marketing agency, and therefore had to fight an unequal battle against Kuchta’s aggressive disinformation campaign “My sme les”. In the case of competition between political parties, the fight is more fair because almost every political party uses a marketing agency, not just some.
Second State Secretary Michal Kiča
Michal Kiča has a significantly weaker influence on Budaj than his long-time friend, colleague, and former parliamentary assistant to Budaj, Juraj Smatana. A positive aspect is that Kiča is a member of several forestry and hunting Facebook groups, where he has the opportunity to learn quality information about forestry, nature conservation, and issues concerning bears and wolves. It should be sincerely appreciated that Mr. Kiča is also interested in other opinions, which Smatana has a big problem with. Despite his interest in other opinions, this is not very evident in the ministry’s leadership. While a dialogue with Kiča might make some sense, I fear that a dialogue with the psychopath Smatana is now meaningless.
Smatana certainly has the last word in the ministry’s management, and Kiča is just his stooge.
On the other hand, Secretary Kič also has his dark side. He became famous for pouring EUR 5.5 million into the BROZ association for his friends, for whom he worked, for the very dubious and controversial protection of the ground squirrel . Exemplary corruption and embezzlement of public funds. While the secretary failed to raise a single euro fund for the removal of environmental burdens, he poured nice money into his friends for the ground squirrel.
The affair with the 5-fold overpriced stands that protect waste containers from bears is interesting. Perhaps someone benefits from an overpopulation of bears so that as many overpriced stands as possible need to be built. Perhaps the secretary Kiča also has a hand in this corruption, and perhaps that’s why he remains silent when it comes to the bear issue. Perhaps the head of the intervention team, Slašťan, is also involved in this corruption, as he deliberately spreads misinformation about the bear problem, claiming that all bear problems are caused by unsecured containers and hunters who feed bears. Well, where are our investigative journalists? Let them investigate these suspicions. The media have double standards and will only write about selected corruption.
Personally, I think that at the ministry it works like this: while the psychopath Smatana is dealing with his sectarian fundamentalist ecoterrorism, Secretary Kič is indifferent to everything and is just arranging corrupt contracts for his buddies.
The basis of the functioning of Budaj and his secretaries Smatana and Kičo is the spreading of lies and disinformation about nature protection. The Ministry of the Environment should be renamed the Ministry of Disinformation. Forester Boris Greguška, with a rich diplomatic career, wrote a blog in which he questions the hoax by Budaj and co. that Slovakia is the only country in Europe and the world where national park lands are not managed by the Ministry of the Environment.
Secretary Michal Kiča expressed himself very clearly, explicitly, and even repeated that they would expand no-intervention areas as much as possible. The Ministry is grossly lying when it claims it can guarantee jobs in forestry. No one who is at least somewhat normal can believe such primitive lies. The lies of Budaj and his secretaries completely devalue the institution of the ministry.
It is easiest to get money from BROZ because it is an association close to Kič and Budaj. Budaj has a connection to BROZ through his friend Jaromír Šíbl, who is a member of parliament and the founder of BROZ. Budaj distributes money to his party friend on the ground squirrel as part of the party affiliation of the political party Change from Below, just as the SMER party did.
” Reform” of national parks. Will it pass or not?
Few topics are subject to as much misinformation as nature conservation. It is often difficult for politicians, the coalition council, and the media to navigate this topic, and they often side with the wrong party.
Many MPs later got scared when they understood what they had actually signed. They are ashamed of what they signed, but it is already a big problem to revoke it. It is interesting that the members of the coalition council did not even think of consulting the issue of national parks in their parliamentary clubs and, without any consideration, dictatorially ordered the parliamentary clubs to sign the dubious draft amendment.
What Smatana and Budaj have achieved can even be compared to success at the level of secret services. It somehow reminds us of the practices of the StB. Even the most cunning secret services would probably not have managed such an operation. They had the MPs sign the bill in such a way that they didn’t even know what they were signing . This information is also confirmed by Ján Mičovský. They very successfully managed to psychologically manipulate the MPs. It is interesting that the MPs were not at all interested in whether the proposal had been discussed with experts. The President publicly stated twice that she did not like the strange dictatorial practices of the madmen from the ministry.
The last word on this issue will undoubtedly be with Minister Vlčan. Let’s hope that common sense prevails.
It would be very controversial if such a controversial amendment were to pass despite the active civic resistance of either experts or the rural population. The amendment would openly go against nature and people.
Member of Parliament Jarmila Halgašová (SaS) stated on her FB page that she does not support the proposal of the Ministry of the Environment.
Strong words or sincerity? I am absolutely shocked by this video . The MP for the OĽANO party, Bratislava environmental activist Jaromír Šíbl, has apparently changed his mind and more or less does not support the “reform” of national parks. Personally, I expected him to be the strongest fighter for the “reform”. He seemed to express regret that he “cannot guarantee that the proposal will be withdrawn”. Well, Mr. Smatana, the secretary of the ministry, might be furious that his party colleague did not support him. Hats off to Mr. Šíbl for taking common sense into account. The probability that the controversial proposal on national parks will not pass parliament is quite high.
At this press conference, it does not look like the proposed amendment has much enthusiastic support from the MPs. MP Šofranko expressed herself neutrally, the two young MPs Tabak and Čekovský were disoriented and did not understand the issue at all, and the only one who clearly spoke in favor of the reform was MP Zemanová. Minister Budaj looked very sickly and tired. It is interesting that the secretaries did not speak at all at the press conference, as they were probably scared of the strong professional arguments from the discussions.
Even politicians should realize that the countryside is a decent voter base, which, unlike Bratislava, is not heard so loudly. If politicians go against the people, the villagers will vote for Kotleba and the like out of spite. Serious political parties should capture such voters for themselves by protecting the countryside from eco-terrorism.
Rudolf Huliak claims an interesting piece of information, that OLANO MPs are willing to vote for anything that is ordered from above, because in addition to their parliamentary salary, they receive another 3000 euros per month from the party itself. I cannot confirm whether this information is true, but at least our beloved objective investigative journalists should verify the truthfulness of such information.
The arguments in favor of the reform are weak. The current director of state nature protection, in the selection procedure for the position of director of this institution when he was not yet the director, said that the transfer of land is necessary for the much easier acquisition of EU funds . Well, this is where the problem lies as to why pseudo-environmental NGOs will so passionately call for reform, because it will be easier for them to get to dubious corrupt EU funds for doing nothing.
EU funds are a very unstable way of financing and are intended for one-off projects. It is not possible to secure stable jobs through them. This is according to Marián Jasík , a member of the Prales civic association, who certainly understands this issue. The Ministry of the Environment is therefore lying.
The Ministry of the Environment desperately argues that while Lesy SR and Štátne lesy TANAPu cannot draw EU funds, the transfer of land would make it possible to draw EU funds, thus achieving higher employment in the regions. However, the European Union does not prevent state forests from obtaining subsidies; the problem is only in our domestic legislation. After the amendment of domestic legislation, state forests can also draw EU funds.
The reform of national parks would cost 100 million euros annually, which they have not been promised by the Minister of Finance. Budaj also spreads hoaxes that funding from the state budget will be negligible and that they can cover everything from EU funds. Stable funding of national parks from EU funds is not possible. The European Commission can change the system and conditions of grant schemes at any time, and the funding will fall through. Preserving jobs in forestry is an unachievable ambition. Budaj’s people are so managerially incompetent that they have not secured a single euro fund for environmental burdens, toxic landfills, let alone ensured stable funding for national parks from EU funds. The only thing Secretary Kiča managed to get an EU fund for is his association BROZ, which is corruption.
During discussions on national parks, the secretaries of the Ministry of the Environment tried to argue that the reform does not concern non-state forest owners, but despite this, they generously invited them to the discussions. However, this is misinformation. If a bark beetle flies to you from a neighboring state-owned no-intervention forest plot, it will concern you more than enough.
The secretaries of the Ministry of the Environment also claim that forestry organizations have spread disinformation that the ministry wants to expropriate private land for nature conservation purposes. The crazy idea of expropriation was at least very seriously discussed at the ministry , so it is not at all far from the truth. Expropriation is not far from the truth, because a certain form of expropriation is already in full swing today. If you are an owner and a no-intervention zone is declared on your land without your consent, it is practically the same as expropriation. And financial compensation is not that simple at all. Nature conservation is undoubtedly the most corrupt area of state institutions. Here, for example, a landowner complains about how a no- intervention zone was declared on his land against his will, and corrupt nature conservation takes huge amounts of money for doing nothing. In a sense, we can talk about expropriation or arization. And that is in the Bratislava district, and it is not even a national park.
People from the ministry claim that national parks will continue to be managed and that foresters will not lose their jobs. The ministry has not specified how it intends to do this, nor can it guarantee it. However, the mad secretary Juraj Smatana cannot be taken seriously. The fact that measures will be taken against the bark beetle in national parks, i.e., that management will take place, may be limited to about 25% of the area, and the rest of the national park’s wealth will be left to the devastation of the bark beetle. Even Budaj did not hide at the press conference that he wants to expand non-intervention areas. The fact that forestry activities in the national park will be preserved may be valid for two years, and then everything will be non-intervention. The ministry did not specify anything, did not guarantee anything, only general phrases. Mr. Smatana is capable of promising anything just to get his proposal passed. You can promise anything, but keeping it is another matter.
The Ministry of the Environment first lied to the Ministry of Finance that the national park reform would not cost taxpayers a single euro, proof here , later under pressure from experts they were forced to change their rhetoric and admit that it would cost at least 11 million . In fact, the reform would cost at least 60 million per year, not a one-off.
On the one hand, the Ministry of the Environment, in connection with the reform proposal, makes no secret of its intention to ban hunting; on the other hand , African swine fever is also spreading in TANAP . Here, too, we see that the ban on hunting in national parks is far from being based on expertise.
On 9 November 2021, Ján Mičovský questioned many of the Ministry of the Environment’s hoaxes about the proposal to deform national parks.
The conservation organization WWF
WWF is also very active in Slovakia. It is highly probable that WWF also finances several other NGOs from its financial resources. The financial flows of NGOs are not public.
WWF does not hide its close cooperation with the dubious association OZ Prales, so it is likely that WWF finances them.
WWF is also behind a marketing campaign with the slogan ” Let’s give the forests 5 “. Experts such as Róbert Gombárik, however, protest and claim that these are not primeval forests.
The German documentary film ” The Silence of the Pandas “, which was dubbed into Slovak and broadcast on STV, is very interesting. Anyone who doesn’t watch this film won’t believe it: the film mentions that the WWF openly supports the clearing of rainforests where unsustainable palm plantations are planted under the guise of an ecological marketing slogan, claiming it’s good because it’s sustainable. In this film, the WWF is described as an organization heavily funded by corporations, and these false conservationists serve corporations in destroying the countryside and nature.
What WWF does in Slovakia also has nothing to do with nature conservation.
The author of the film, Wilfried Huismann, also wrote the book PandaLeaks .
Ladislav Miko is a founding member of WWF Slovakia. Who is Ladislav Miko ? He is a person who dislikes foresters and his views are similar to those of, for example, the Vlk group . He is a former Czech Minister of the Environment and currently the Head of the European Commission Representation in Slovakia. The madman Smatana promises the impossible.
WWF Slovakia also publicly declares that it supports the controversial proposal for the reform of national parks.
MP Filip Kuffa claims that the head of the European Commission Representation in Slovakia, Ladislav Miko, is the ultimate beneficial owner of WWF Slovakia and that Budaj’s ministry signed EU fund subsidies amounting to 200,000 within a 5 million package. This is a conflict of interest, as Miko, by virtue of his position, has a strong influence on the drawing of EU funds. When I asked Miko how WWF is financed, he only said that it is financed by corporations, concealed the income from EU funds, and claimed that he is not an employee of WWF and does not receive any money from them. However, this contradicts Filip Kuffa’s findings. Miko most likely lied outright. Despite Filip Kuffa coming from the controversial political party Život, I have not yet noticed him spreading false information in the field of nature protection! Therefore, I would take his claim extremely seriously. The source of information is this video, video at 1:10:20I believe that the reason why Ladislav Miko resigned from his position prematurely is precisely because Filip Kuffa drew attention to his corruption.

28 million to support drought? It’s madness, but anything is possible in Slovakia.
The year 2022 was characterized by extreme drought. However, this did not deter the dubious organization WWF Slovakia from destroying and devastating water retention measures/dams. This is a project called “Living Rivers” worth EUR 28 million. 60% of this amount will be paid by the European Commission and 40% by the Ministry of the Environment. WWF was sharply criticized for this devastation and shameful acts by top and renowned experts such as Michal Kravčík and Dušan Mikuš.

The most tragicomic thing is that the coordinating recipient of EU funds is the “ Water Research Institute”, which is a state organization directly under the Ministry of the Environment. When you look at their website, it doesn’t even need a comment – it’s something crazy – it’s not a “research institute” but just a money laundering machine for embezzling EU funds. It’s similar to browsing the BROZ website. The website only contains the topic of how many subsidies they received for nature “protection”, but you can hardly find any “research activities” there.

Pseudo-environmental association of the forest protection group Vlk
The Vlk association is known for fighting against planting trees, even after calamities, because according to them, nature must cope on its own. Only a madman can say such nonsense. Well, if their ideology was for planting trees, then these scoundrels would also be obliged to plant trees, but they are lazy and don’t want to. It’s better to parasitize on false nature protection by doing nothing. A member of the Vlk group even says that they don’t care if a no-intervention zone is declared on a clear-cut or in a forest. Total madmen. They won’t plant trees on that clear-cut; they fight against it.
The head of the pseudo-environmental sect of the Vlk association, Juraj Lukáč, admits on his Facebook profile that he is only interested in money and that playing the role of fake nature conservationists can be good business. He claims to have earned more than EUR 100,000 from various dubious lawsuits. He curses Budaj for wanting to deprive his sect of part of its income. I ask: who at the Ministry of the Environment set the laws in such a way that the Vlk association could get rich from dubious lawsuits? Is the Ministry of the Environment one of the most corrupt ministries?
Pseudo-conservationist Juraj Lukáč is a psychopath . In a speech at Eko Top Film, he said crazy things. There are only two possibilities. Either he went crazy or he was drunk. It is very understandable that Juraj Lukáč would turn to alcoholism, because he has a very heavy conscience for the enormous damage he has caused, for the destroyed nature, for the overpopulated bears. And only alcohol can help with the pain of a heavy conscience. It is scientifically proven that alcohol is a strong anxiolytic. Psychopath “conservationist” Juraj Lukáč and his wolf religion. The retarded Juraj Lukáč founded his new religion, a sect. The basis of this sect is the belief that: a wolf knows at least 4000 words and wolves are our cousins.
It should also be said that the head of the Vlk association is a close friend of Juraj Smatana. They worked together on the blockade of Tichá and Kôprová valleys in 2007.
Furthermore, Juraj Lukáč became famous for his hatred of shepherds . According to him, if a wolf tears a sheep apart, it is the shepherds’ fault. He considers it outrageous and audacious if a shepherd asks for financial compensation from state authorities for a torn-apart sheep. This is total madness, which is difficult to comment on for any even slightly normal person. Juraj Smatana took note of Juraj Lukáč’s hatred and, in the amendment to the decree on nature protection for shepherds, pushed through absolutely devastating conditions to make compensation for damages practically impossible.
In a similar way to bears, Juraj Lukáč probably also earns money from highly speculative lawsuits, with which he tries to block the logging of dry and bark beetle -infested trees in national parks .
The basic doctrine of the psychopathic association Vlk is to fight against planting trees after wind and bark calamities, not only in national parks but also in forests in general. Another of their controversial ideologies is to declare reserves, i.e., the highest degree of protection, even on clear-cut areas. If these madmen were in favor of planting trees, then they would also be forced to work very hard and physically plant trees, which is hard work, and they don’t want to do that. They just want to parasitize and extort money from everything, not create value. You can verify that I am not making this up at this link .
By the way, the extremist Michal Wiezik, together with the journalist Soňa Mäkká, promote the ideology that planting trees after calamities is harmful to nature. In the place of the journalist Soňa Mäkká, I would be ashamed to promote such psychopathic ideas under my own name. Some journalists have no self-reflection and have completely lost their judgment. Or maybe someone is just paying them well.
A clash between Secretary Juraj Smatana and MP Miroslav Suja
. Smatana got his karma for going against the people . The boorish MP Suja capped it off with a small brawl . He interrupted the proceedings for several minutes, maybe even half an hour. Two madmen jumped into each other’s hair. Suja’s video currently has around 300,000 views. However, the media is making a huge mistake by reporting on the incident very subjectively, which will increase people’s distrust in mainstream media and increase people’s trust in alternative media. And I’m not happy about that at all.
I am also angry about the double standards. When Suja poured water on the unpopular politician Matovič, not only alternative but also mainstream media, either directly or indirectly, praised Suja for this act and wrote that Matovič was to blame himself. This time there was no physical contact, and the media, even at the cost of misleading information, are fighting for “poor” Smatana, who is not to blame for anything.
Despite the fact that MP Suja is not entirely mentally sound, the arguments he mentions in his video are indeed true. A closed discussion in front of all opposition MPs or mayors is far from transparent. If Mr. Smatana had the stronger arguments, he would not be so afraid to make the discussions transparent. It is also clear that Suja, in terms of education, is closer to environmental issues than Smatana, a history teacher at a grammar school. Also, not allowing the vice-chairman of the environmental committee to participate in the discussion is controversial.
Suja’s arrogance is just a reflection of how Smatana, with his ecoterrorism, has so far gone against nature, against people, and against the countryside. Just as the situation at the ministry is undignified, so were Suja’s antics undignified. The situation at the ministry is absolutely insane. Mr. Smatana is completely demeaning the institution of the ministry.
According to the available information, the police also sided with Sujo during the incident and later voluntarily left the negotiating room, so Mr. Smatana’s criminal complaint should be seen as a good joke. From a legal point of view, Smatana’s criminal complaint against the MP is also a good mockery. Well, what else is left for the desperate Smatana.
It should be noted, however, that MP Suja was not the only opposition MP who actively wanted to participate in the discussions, but was arrogantly forbidden to do so by Mr. Smatana. This refers to MP Filip Kuffa. Despite the fact that Filip Kuffa comes from a controversial party with which I do not identify, in the field of nature protection he has objective and normal views in line with the majority of the professional public. Furthermore, it should be recalled that MP Filip Kuffa is a forestry engineer and has the education to understand forest ecosystems, which Mr. Smatana is very far from. Filip Kuffa, unlike Suja , respected Smatana’s ban and did not commit any disturbances . It would be good if more foresters went into politics, because it is not ideal if forestry and conservation issues have to be temporarily substituted by Filip Kuffa from a rather unfortunate political party. Either political parties should actively seek experts from the field of forestry and rural areas themselves, or foresters themselves should be more politically active. Boris Kollár made a huge mistake by putting a forester in an unelectable position on the candidate list, and thus he did not get into parliament. Now he may bitterly regret making this big mistake.
The Suju case, which disrupted the discussion in Svit, is being dealt with by the Poprad District Office as a misdemeanour , 17 December 2021.
By the way, I am very surprised why Ján Mičovský, who would certainly have something to say about the issue, did not participate in the negotiations. That was definitely a mistake.
Juraj Smatana stated on his Facebook page that he is even against the construction of cycle paths and cycle lanes, because according to him, their construction is environmentally unfriendly. Some cycle paths also lead through forests and may require the felling of several trees. A total madman, this is where reason fails. The truth is that a cycle path is a very ecological project that is in the public interest. When such a madman gets such a high position in the ministry, he can cause enormous damage. God protect Slovakia.
Media bias in the field of nature conservation
NGOs focused on nature protection received EUR 130 million. This is not a conspiracy, Budaj himself said it. Most of these funds were stolen and NGOs have enough money to buy journalists to write disinformation on demand.
There is no doubt that in the field of nature conservation, the media is the least objective . I must state with horror that the unfortunate alternative media are more objective on this topic than the mainstream media. Some journalists produce outright disinformation, such as Soňa Mäkká from Denník N, Jana Kubisová from Aktuality, and Andrej Barát from Denník Pravda. Both journalists blocked me on Facebook because they were unwilling to discuss with someone who has a different opinion; they could not tolerate a different opinion. I disturbed the psychologically unstable journalists too much in their peaceful disinformation.
Not all journalists can spread disinformation out of conviction. For example, NGOs such as WWF, BROZ, OZ Vlk, and the Aevis Foundation have enough money to buy journalists like Soňa Mäkká, Jana Kibisová, and the like. WWF is exceptional in that it is not dependent on EU funds, as it receives large sums of money from corporations.
The media also lacks brave and honest journalists who would have the courage to disrupt political correctness and call the madness at the Ministry of the Environment by its true name. Among journalists, there is a lack of a second Ján Kuciak who would point out scandals and corruption in nature protection.
The media occasionally draws attention to suspicions of corruption in the Sme rodina party, but drawing attention to scandals and corruption involving a nominee of the OĽANO party is not the done thing, it would be a breach of political correctness. It is also difficult for a journalist to criticize Budaj’s ministry, as Budaj is still a relatively popular minister who enjoys relatively high public trust.
The media is making exactly the same mistake as they did in 2015 during the migration crisis. The media refused to talk about the negatives of migration, refused to criticize quotas, and even talked about how illegal migration would be beneficial for Slovakia. And that was the reason why the popularity and viewership of alternative media radically increased in 2015. Later, the situation in the media changed and they started to report objectively. Even mainstream media began to admit the negatives of migration, or the solution of migration in a different way than quotas, for example, by helping in the countries of origin.
It is said that one should learn from mistakes and not repeat the same mistakes. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the media, which repeats the same mistakes again in 2021. Unobjective and misleading information about nature protection, withholding facts, and censorship cause distrust of mainstream media to increase among the rural population, and people trust unfortunate alternative media more. The frustration of the rural population due to the media’s lack of objectivity can lead to rural voters electing extremist parties out of defiance.
The media is unable to balance the various disinformation from the press conferences of the madmen from the Ministry of the Environment and the State Nature Protection with the views of serious experts. There is a complete absence of criticism of the fake environmental NGOs. The disinformation that all problems with bears are caused by illegal feeding by hunters and unsecured containers does not even need to be commented on. The media has forgotten that their role is not only to criticize politicians but also dubious NGOs that engage in anti-social activities against the public interest.
Well-known forester Stanislav Bystriansky questions the disinformation of the dubious journalist Andrej Barát . In this article, he criticizes corruption in nature protection. While the Poles have gone in the right direction and created capercaillie breeding facilities for €118,000, in Slovakia, only a dubious conservation project for €600,000 has been created, and that exclusively in the form of non-intervention.
Journalist Jana Kubisová. A mentally disturbed person.
First of all, I want to point out that I greatly appreciate the work of journalists, but there are also black sheep among them, such as Jana Kubisová. Kubisová, with her article titled “Why environmentalists are attacked by disinformationists and how Boris Kollár helped,” full of aggressive hoaxes and defending corruption, could not have hit rock bottom any more. I have seen a lot in my life, but for a journalist to aggressively defend the embezzlement of EU funds, moreover from the strongly anti-corruption media outlet Aktuality, from which the legendary Ján Kuciak comes, I consider absolutely shocking. Many people are starting to lose their minds during this difficult time of the corona crisis, and Kubisová is no exception. The article contains so much misinformation that if I were to refute every piece of nonsense, it would take up 6 A4 pages. For such an article full of filth, Kubisová should be immediately fired. Moreover, I do not understand how the editor and editor-in-chief can even allow the publication of such an ideologically very aggressive and extremely one-sided article, which is contrary to public interest and general ethics. A morally sound editor-in-chief should care about the objectivity and balance of his newspaper – unfortunately, Peter Bárdy is not one. It would be reasonable to amend the law so that journalists are obliged to present the opinion of the other side. Kubisová did not dedicate a single sentence in her article to an expert on the issue – I know the opinion of experts very well, 99% of experts on forest ecosystems have a very negative opinion of the associations she defends. If Aktuality wants to differ from so-called alternative media, if it wants to be better than them in something, first of all, they should not allow the publication of such a cesspool as Jana Kubisová wrote.
From the discussion with Jana Kubisova, it was clear that she does not understand the issue: this can only mean two things: Either she does not write the articles at all and they are written for her by lobbying corrupt pseudo-environmental groups and she just publishes them and does not even need to understand the issue, or it is a manifestation of her low intelligence, which is not sufficient for a journalist.
In one article, Kubisová openly defended that planting trees after calamities is a mistake. No further comment is needed on her mental health.
Psychological analysis of Jana Kubisova: I know Jana Kubisova very well. She is a mentally disturbed person. When I messaged her on Facebook, communicating with her was very strange. She couldn’t construct a single normal sentence, an absolute inability to communicate. When I pointed out the misinformation in her articles, she didn’t even try to defend her delusions with arguments, which could suggest that she herself doesn’t believe what she writes and is bought by pseudo-environmental corrupt associations that pay her. Or it’s a manifestation of a personality disorder. In my opinion, she must be an extreme introvert, autistic, overly withdrawn into her own world, and among her journalist colleagues at Aktuality, she is whispered about as the biggest weirdo and oddball. Personally, I think Kubisova doesn’t even have a partner, but it would do her good if she did, because he would pull her out of her deluded, closed world and into reality at least a little. It is in the interest of Aktuality to clean up their ranks and not let their name be damaged by the mentally disturbed black sheep Jana Kubisova.
There is no point in questioning the dozens of pieces of misinformation in Kubisová’s article, but I will mention at least one sentence she wrote about the Vlk association: “ they fought for NGOs to be able to participate in administrative proceedings again by suing the European Court of Justice for non-compliance with the Aarhus Convention” . In practice, however, this is an extremely abused matter, about which you can learn more at the following links: link1 , link2 , link3 . Kubisová defends an absolutely destructive and perverse thing.
Direct evidence that journalist Jana Kubisová is paid for her articles by corrupt lobbying groups in the field of pseudo-nature protection. Ján Budaj, out of desperation, deliberately posted a two-year-old photo on his FB profile, presenting it as current, because current photos did not exist and do not exist. Kubisová took this photo in her article even though she knew it was not current, presenting it as current. A person can have their brain completely washed by a pseudo-environmental and pseudo-ecological sect, but even such a person must admit that one should not lie like this. Even a person with 50% IQ must realize that one should not lie like this, or that publishing such a photo is extremely inappropriate. The fact that Kubisová spread the hoax intentionally is proof that she does it for money.
Double standards of the media on corruption
The media resented the SMER party for having so-called “our people” whom it protected from criminal prosecution in cases of corruption. In this matter, the media is of course right, but the problem is that the media preaches water and drinks wine, because the media also has its protected “our people” whose corruption they do not disclose for some reason. I informed several investigative journalists that the BROZ association had stolen 55 million euros from public funds, and the result is just silence. What are journalists afraid of?
The media blew up the affair of politician Štefan Holý, who had a contract from the railways for 300 thousand euros, which is not illegal. Despite the fact that journalists had no evidence of corruption, they only suspected that there was a suspicion, they made a huge affair out of it and wrote articles in the context that Štefan Holý had robbed the railways of 300 thousand euros. The extreme double standards of the media really raise my blood pressure. On the other hand, we have the BROZ association, which stole 55 million euros, and there is a deathly silence. All the nature conservation experts I know have a clear opinion that most of these 55 million euros were simply stolen. It is enough if you are a nominee of the wrong political party and the media will cook up a corruption affair even from water. It is enough if you belong to the right political party, it is enough if you belong to the right association and all corruption affairs will be censored by the media.
Budaj’s State Secretary Michal Kiča worked as a lawyer for the BROZ association, which corruptly obtained 55 million from public funds. Well, imagine if a minister from Sme rodina had a secretary who two years ago worked for a company that received 55 million in contracts from the state, what a media outcry there would be about corruption and conflict of interest. Such a minister would be lynched by the media until he resigned. But the media’s double standards really raise my blood pressure. And to top it all off, during Budaj’s ministry, the BROZ association received another 5.4 million euros for monitoring the European ground squirrel. The conflict of interest of Ján Budaj with the BROZ association is the fact that his political party “Change from Below” also has the long-time vice-chairman of the BROZ association, Jaromír Šíbl. Šíbl was the biggest fighter for the “reform” of national parks in parliament, but the media did not write a single article about Šíbl’s multiple conflicts of interest. How can we believe Šíbl’s pure intention that he cares about nature protection and not about money when he himself is the ultimate beneficial owner of 55 million euros? As far as I know, even the company Bonul did not receive contracts from the state worth 55 million, but less. After all, the head of state nature protection, Dušan Karaska, stated the reason for the transfer of land in national parks as the sole reason for radically simplifying the drawing of EU funds. After the reform of national parks, pseudo-environmental associations will no longer have to ask for prior consent from the Ministry of Agriculture (or entities under it, such as State Forests) to draw EU funds. From now on, the consent of the corruption-ridden State Nature Protection will be sufficient, and EU funds will be embezzled incomparably more easily than before. The so-called reform of national parks is not about nature protection but about simplifying the embezzlement of EU funds.
The fact that much of the corruption in nature conservation was revealed by Filip Kuffa, a member of the controversial political party Život, does not excuse the media from not verifying information to see if it is based on truth. Kuffa’s political party Život does not hide its anti-vaxxer attitudes, but in the field of nature conservation, Filip Kuffa has so far only spread truthful information, and I have independently verified all the information.
The media is also not justified in not reporting on corruption at the Ministry of the Environment just because the most vocal critics of corruption in nature protection are far-right MPs. The role of a journalist is to verify every piece of information regardless of how credible the source is.
Slovak journalists still have a lot of milk to drink to grow into real journalists. Huge mistakes by journalists can cause public distrust in standard media and the public’s turning to alternative media, which is not a good trend. Journalism needs to have a brave second Ján Kuciak, which journalism lacks so much.
A side note: The ethics of journalists are very poor. I have a particular dislike for Petr Bárdy and Marek Vagovič, who didn’t like Kuciak when he was alive, hated him for focusing solely on Kočner, and after his death, when it became popular, they started claiming he was a wonderful person. Some of Petr Bárdy’s articles, in particular, made me feel nauseous when Bárdy disgustingly profited from his death by writing articles about him, with the aim of unnaturally and forcefully achieving the highest possible readership for Aktuality at all costs, in order to maximize advertising revenue.
The Ministry of the Environment is so extremely rotten with corruption that if journalists were to ask uncomfortable questions through the Freedom of Information Act, the madmen from the ministry would simply not answer the questions, thus breaking the law.
Journalists’ double standards on morality
On the one hand, journalists are often extremely strict with politicians, but on the other hand, journalists are not equally strict with themselves. I will give specific examples:
The media overdid it with the media lynching of Kollár and Matovič over their diploma theses. They also overdid it with the media lynching of Kollár during his hospital stay after the accident, when people visited him. Now that the irrational emotions have subsided, perhaps more journalists who participated in this lynching would have no problem admitting that it was a mistake (I was clear about it from the beginning). The only result of their work is that due to the exaggerated, disproportionate, and biased criticism of the coalition, the preferences of Smer and the far-right have increased.
Despite the fact that journalists are strict with politicians, they are no longer equally strict with themselves. In the field of ecology and nature conservation, many journalists do not adhere to basic journalistic ethics, giving space to far-left environmental propaganda and their disinformation, but they no longer give space to experts. No sense of opinion balance. And the editors-in-chief of the newspapers are responsible for such a moral failure. By the way, we all make mistakes, but it is the duty of the editor-in-chief, if he has been informed of such a failure, to rectify the situation. A friend and I admonished several editors-in-chief, and most of them did not listen and continued in the same moral transgressions and did not sort out their extremist left-wing journalists such as Jana Kubisová or Soňa Mäkká.
It got to the point where editor-in-chief Peter Bárdy blocked me on Facebook for daring to politely point out these double standards to him. How can Peter Bárdy have the moral right to criticize Robert Fico when he himself supports journalist Jana Kubisová, who, based on aggressive disinformation, defended the embezzlement of 55 million euros from EU funds by the BROZ association?
To this day, the media has not apologized for drawing disinformation from the fake anti-corruption activist, the legally convicted, mentally disturbed alcoholic Patrik Magdoška. Editor-in-chief Štefan Hríb, who is very strict with politicians, is not strict with himself and has not fired Magdoška from the editorial office to this day.
The Ministry of the Environment and the State Nature Conservation are the most corrupt state institutions in the long term.
The fact is that we do not have a single personality in investigative journalism in Slovakia. Unfortunately. With the exception of the magazine Poľovníctvo Rybárstvo (Hunting and Fishing), where the editor-in-chief and editors are authentic people from the countryside, outside Bratislava, who understand nature and nature conservation, and the media owner in this area is not in a conflict of interest and gives journalists in this area freedom .
It’s tragicomic how investigative journalism in Slovakia has become so discredited. An investigative journalist analyzes the legal business dealings of entrepreneurs, but there’s no mention of the fact that they’re stealing like magpies at the Ministry of the Environment.
You cansee how many millions go into nature conservation here . But somehow, the actual results of nature conservation are not visible.
I acknowledge that the current government has reduced corruption in most ministries. However, this is certainly not the case for Budaj’s ministry, where corruption has multiplied since he took office. Budaj’s ministry and the State Nature Protection have become a byword in the professional community. And the ministry has only itself to blame. The ministry has been taken over by madmen like Secretary Smatana.
The Ministry unsuccessfully tried to defend its reputation in the professional community as a corrupt institution on its Facebook page , where it only awkwardly tried to play with the phrases “Implementation of large carnivore care programs in Slovakia” and bear counting, bear monitoring. The fact is that 8 million euros were spent on large carnivores, and the bear has still not been counted. Somewhere those funds must have mysteriously disappeared, as there are no results. However, the discussants did not give the ministry anything for free and exposed the ministry’s misleading statements.
If the media reported objectively, they would put great pressure on Matovič and the coalition council to dismiss Budaj and his secretaries, who have totally discredited and profaned the institution of the ministry, and replace them with someone at least somewhat normal.
The fact that the Budajs are not serious about cleaning up the ministry is evidenced by the fact that Katarína Butkovská is the Director General of the Nature Protection, Biodiversity and Landscape Section of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, and she has held the same position since the time of the Fico government. Katarína Butkovská is known for not understanding nature protection at all, supporting corruption, refusing to communicate with experts, and communicating only with dubious NGOs. The result of Butkovská’s work is an incredibly amateurishly botched amendment to the Nature Protection Act of 2019, without any discussion with experts, with an arrogant 100% disregard for public comments, and an increase in tension between foresters and conservationists. It should be noted that Butkovská works hierarchically under Secretary Smatana.
Of course, corruption in nature conservation will thrive when the media has essentially not published a single corruption case at the ministry in the last few years. The corrupt person does not feel that anyone is disturbing them in their stealing. When a corrupt person is certain that the media is not interested in corruption in nature conservation, that they are not monitored by investigative journalists, their courage for corruption grows. Nature conservation is an area where corruption can easily be camouflaged as anything. It is easy to get subsidies for practically doing nothing. The reason why corrupt conservation NGOs passionately consider non-intervention as the only form of nature conservation is obvious: with non-intervention, if you manage to get EU funds for some fake fictitious scientific research for a non-intervention protected area, you have no responsibility for that area even if the entire forest in the national park falls to the bark beetle, or if overpopulated game causes damage to the forests.
An ecology expert from the Faculty of Forestry, where forest ecosystems are taught in incredible detail, Prof. Dr. Forest. Ing. Jaroslav Šálka , warns against the madmen from the Ministry of Environment. He claims that the anger of the countryside against Budaj’s ministry is justified!! Ján Budaj spread hoaxes that he was supported by experts. However, no experts on forest ecosystems, graduates of the Faculty of Forestry, supported him in the reform of national parks (with some marginal exceptions). All experts stood against Budaj. The professor said it very wisely!!! The Ministry of Environment is doing everything to make people in the countryside vote for the far right! Unfortunately, this is the only way people in the countryside can express protest against Budaj’s arrogance. I quote the professor: “With a power-based approach, we only further strengthen the distrust of people connected to the land and push them into the hands of right-wing extremism.”
LESY SR objects to the statements of Minister Ján Budaj: Constant misleading and manipulation of the public is inappropriate.
The reaction of the State Forests of TANAP to the statements of Minister Ján Budaj: We fundamentally object!
The ideology of eco-activists: hatred against hunters
Eco-activists have invented an ideology of hating hunters. The propaganda of eco-activists on social networks depicts hunters as bad people. They portray hunters as people who do nothing but commit offenses with illegal feeding of animals, which is far from reality. I personally walk around the hunting grounds a lot, but I have not seen anything like that. They spread disinformation that hunting is nothing but trophies. They call for the complete abolition of hunting.
Huge hatred against hunters is also spreading from the Ministry of the Environment and Minister Ján Budaj, without these hateful statements being condemned by the media or balanced by experts in the field of hunting.
The fact that a vegetarian has some reservations about hunting makes at least some sense. But most of these half-wits from social networks are not even vegetarians.
Juraj Smatana continued to spread the hateful narrative from social media on TA3 television, claiming that hunters are more dangerous than bears, as there have been more accidents during hunting trips than people killed by bears, which is a rather absurd comparison. Such delusional and extremist statements completely devalue the institution of the Ministry of the Environment. No one needs to dig into Juraj Smatana’s private life to compromise him. He compromises himself publicly on television, where he spreads his delusional ideas. What is happening at the ministry is now completely undignified.
Here you can watch an infantile documentary film by eco-activist Milan Jeglík, aimed at slandering hunters. Milan Jeglík is also known for organizing children’s camps in the forests – however, organizing activities for profit without the consent of the forest owner is prohibited by the Forest Act – even if it is outwardly labeled as a volunteer event, Jeglík’s participants certainly pay something for it. The event is voluntary from the participant’s perspective, but not from the organizer’s perspective.
The Ministry of the Environment has authorized the shooting and scaring of the great cormorant.
The malicious journalist Jaroslava Kavuliaková incites hatred towards fishermen by titling her article ” Permission to kill “. Cormorants are not killed, but hunted. The journalist is trying to manipulate emotions. Hatred towards hunters, shepherds, and fishermen has a common root, a common connection.
Ján Budaj
Minister Ján Budaj does not actually manage the ministry. Juraj Smatana is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Budaj should be seen as Smatana’s spokesperson. Budaj has surrounded himself with extremely unfortunate and wrong people. His press conferences and other public statements, full of disinformation and hoaxes, demean and profane the institution of the Ministry of the Environment. The media supports this trampling of the ministry’s institution.
Minister Budaj’s extremism may cause the opposite extreme, that people will distrust all politicians and will defiantly vote for extremist parties.
For Budaj, the biggest enemies are experts. Budaj usually expresses himself very hatefully and aggressively towards his opponents in the media, and the media does not criticize him at all for these undignified, antisocial actions .
We can only talk about objective media reporting on Budaj and his ministry when they criticize him in the same way they criticized Robert Fico, Andrej Danko, or Igor Matovič.
The absence of criticism of Budaj from the standard media will radically increase the popularity and trust in the population in alternative media, which I am not happy about.
Budaj speaks disparagingly of forestry and hunting organizations as old people from the last century who are full of fear . When arguments run out, only insults remain. The entire professional community is strongly against Ján Budaj, and he is extremely nervous about it. Budaj expresses himself with extreme aggression and anger towards experts. He considers experts his sworn enemies, who are lobbyists against national parks, who only want to cut down and plunder nature. The democrat Budaj has become a harsh dictator – he considers the biggest problem to be that experts can comment on his proposal in a democratic review process. Budaj fears experts like the devil fears holy water. He is nervous that he has run out of arguments.
I am concerned about the lobbyist NGOs that control Budaj, which are known for embezzling EU funds. This is a threat to the public interest.
Ján Budaj insults the countryside . He expresses himself in a boorish manner that is unworthy of a minister. He compares the quality of life of the villagers from the Pieniny region to the Middle Ages . The villagers are Budaj’s loudest critics, and he has returned their criticism with insults.
70-year-old Ján Budaj has serious health problems . Notice the very long pauses in his speech. He doesn’t look healthy at all. He is no longer medically fit to lead the ministry. Notice the shaking of Ján Budaj’s hands and uncoordinated hand movements when speaking. During media interviews, he often has his hands under the table , resting his hands on the table to hide the shaking, to cover up his health problems. It could be Parkinson’s disease or side effects of some strong medications . I wonder why the media is not pushing for his resignation for health reasons alone. It’s sad that this sick person is being exploited by the mentally ill secretary Juraj Smatana for his own goals. What type of health problems could it be? It could be some type of neurodegenerative disease, for example, an advancing stage of Alzheimer’s disease, or exhaustion from other health problems. Let our investigative journalists find out what health problems he has, it is their role – it is in the public interest for the public to know. Budaj should have self-reflection and resign himself – it is in the public interest. Also, the results of the Ministry of Environment’s work are clearly the worst among all ministries, and that is another reason for resignation.
I would also like to ask the journalists who support Budaj’s reform of national parks whether they think that the sickly old man Budaj and the mentally undisturbed Juraj Smatana really have what it takes to handle such a serious matter as the reform of national parks.
The greatest wisdom of Ján Budaj: ” forester = anti-vaxxer “. A very gross insult to the professional community… Budaj also insults the cultural heritage of Slovakia, which includes the shepherd’s whip. He insults the countryside. He is nervous because he has absolutely no support in the professional community.
RTVS Reporters . The Ministry of the Environment has been taken over by dangerous madmen who are causing enormous damage in Slovakia. Who will stop them? They are economically destroying municipalities and supplier companies. In a video, Ján Budaj aggressively attacks defenseless mayors and calls them fraudsters (accused of subsidy fraud). The ministry has been taken over by the secretaries, the mentally ill Juraj Smatana and the corrupt Michal Kiča – a very dangerous combination! I consider putting national parks in the hands of such dangerous people to be a threat!
The award for the dumbest minister in the history of Slovakia goes to Ján Budaj for the statement below. How can a minister ridicule himself with such nonsense at the level of a four-year-old child? I quote from the article:
Minister of the Environment Ján Budaj (OĽANO) explained that there will be no further mining in the core zones of the nature reserve, thus increasing the water retention capacity of the forest. ” No other measures, neither weirs nor dams, have the same effect as the forest itself when you let it live in its natural form ,” the minister noted.
God save Slovakia from Budaj!! Ján Budaj, as a professionally trained StB agent, is skilled at lying. Well, it’s interesting how he could have figured out that hunters create special baiting sites only for bears and not for hoofed game. Budaj is committing the crime of inciting hatred against hunters. I would be interested to know why Ján Budaj is not addressing the criminal acts of illegal logging by his people from BROZ in the Bratislava and Strážov Hills areas. Another of Budaj’s deceptions is that he published a two-year-old photo of a baiting site from 2020 – he probably doesn’t have a current one because it doesn’t exist. The fraudulent journalist Jana Kubisová took this photo, so she is intentionally spreading Budaj’s hoax .
Ján Budaj radically refuses to communicate with experts and considers them enemies. Budaj is not surrounded by a single expert, but only by madmen. The only “expert” he referred to on June 22, 2022, in the parliamentary committee was zoologist Associate Professor Marcel Uhrin . Who is Uhrin? A madman and the scum of the Slovak nation. Here I will also include Uhrin’s status full of vulgarisms in which he argued with the hundred-times refuted hoax that “feeding” is to blame for all problems with bears.
Since the “expert” associate professor ran out of professional arguments, he resorted to vulgarisms addressed to hunters and people with a different opinion. I am quoting here excerpts from the status below, which are full of vulgarisms:
“with a hole in the ass”
“I wish they’d trip over the curb and smash their faces”
“by hunters riddled with bullets”
“Is someone here crazy?”
“They didn’t give a damn about the hunted bear.”
“If anyone needs regulation, it’s Homo sapiens.”
Eco-extremist political parties
The most dangerous political party is the Spolu party. Although its chairman, Juraj Hipš, has reasonable views on many topics, in the area of ecology, he is a second Juraj Smatana, a total madman. The Spolu party is full of ecological extremists such as Michal Wiezik or Erik Baláž . Michal Wiezik is not a mentally normal person. In the case of Erik Baláž, the Ministry of Agriculture had to refute his hateful hoaxes against foresters in connection with the floods in Rudno nad Hronom .
We must have strong faith and pray a lot so that these fools do not get into parliament, otherwise they will cause enormous damage to nature and the countryside.
Notice the scars on Erik Baláž’s forehead and the torn apprentice. This is probably because Erik is a former punk. I wonder if those scars are from some self-harm or from violence among punks. Erik had a hard life. Hopefully, God will forgive him for his misinformation and attacks against foresters and forest owners.
Erik Baláž and Michal Wiezik do not necessarily spread disinformation about nature protection only out of conviction. These boys may not be as innocent as they appear. According to my information, the civic associations of these two gentlemen received subsidies from EU funds and from the WWF.
Michal Wiezik: 🤣 “Albert Einstein” of nature conservation Michal Wiezik has created a crazy theory that planting trees after a calamity is harmful to nature. This is already crazy! According to his theory, if non-native spruce monocultures are left to the devastation of the bark beetle without intervention, we will turn them into a primeval forest (it will get closer to a primeval forest). A fantastic guide from the genius Wiezik on how to “make” primeval forests.🤣. The rowan monoculture in Tichá and Kôprová valleys are therefore exemplary “primeval forests” 🤣.
If ecoterrorists were in favor of planting trees, then these scoundrels would also be obliged to plant trees, but they are lazy and don’t want to. It’s better to parasitize on false nature protection by doing nothing. They just want to parasitize and extort money and EU funds from everything, not create value.
MEP Wiezik is transferring from the Spolu party to the Progressive Slovakia party. This information is extremely worrying to me. The PS party is a quality political party, but one mentally handicapped individual will manipulate the entire party and drag the entire party to the bottom. The PS party would be a quality and decent party if it cleansed itself of ecoterrorist fanatics such as Michal Wiezik and Martin Hojsík.
The PS party also has an environmental fanatic in its ranks. It is Martin Hojsík. Hojsík became famous for his hate speech against hunters on social media in connection with the protection of the grey wolf. I don’t like ecological extremism, pseudo-ecological ideologies that do more harm than good. The PS party should get rid of such a fanatic, such a black sheep. One fanatic can dictate the entire political program of the whole party on the topic of ecology. It is also questionable whether the party leadership will be able to say “no” to this fanatic in his extremist ideas.
The Greens have also caused enormous damage abroad. In Germany . Germany has shut down its nuclear power plant and is building new coal-fired power plants. Germany is and will be totally energy dependent on Russia. Germany relies almost exclusively on natural gas turbines from Russia for electricity production. The construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is closely related to this. Germany is thus becoming practically a colony of Russia, which was fully demonstrated during Navalny’s hospitalization for Novichok poisoning, when German politicians were very restrained and criticized Russia only very cautiously.
Wind turbines are not as simple as people think. German residents don’t want them in their regions, and the second problem with turbines is the two extremes: either they produce a surplus of energy and you have nowhere to store it, or if the wind doesn’t blow, you have big problems with energy shortages.
Political correctness in nature conservation plays into the hands of extremist political parties and alternative media.
When a politician or journalist is unable and lacks the courage to call things as they are, it clearly plays into the hands of so-called alternative media and extremist political parties. Alternative media have no problem calling out problems in nature conservation as they are. Mainstream media are waking up very slowly, often spreading misinformation, and this can cost us dearly.
Bratislava has no understanding of the countryside. The media also makes a big mistake by not having regional structures and not having rural correspondents who would understand the countryside and be knowledgeable about nature conservation. Television stations that have regional structures are generally more objective in their reports, which cannot be said about other media. Writing articles about nature conservation from an office in Bratislava and not giving space to opinions other than ecological extremism is not right.
Since neither journalists nor politicians stand up for the rural population, the rural population feels abandoned and frustrated, so logically they will be more inclined to extremist political parties and alternative media that name the problems in nature conservation. Then let the Bratislava journalists wonder why so many people from the countryside vote for the far right.
While decent political parties are not interested in the problems of the countryside and nature conservation, this unused space is filled by the extreme right, which is closer to common sense on this particular issue. And that doesn’t make me happy at all. I would be glad if decent political parties got rid of political correctness, sided with the countryside and named the problems in nature conservation.
Furthermore, in connection with this topic, I cannot agree with the very stupid articles of some journalists who try to create the impression of an alliance between foresters and the far right through disinformation . The fact that the far right misused the foresters’ protest for its own promotion is something that some journalists apparently did not understand.
The largest uprising of experts against the arbitrariness of politicians in history
No other ministry is as abandoned as the Ministry of the Environment. It has absolutely no support from the professional public. The Ministry of the Environment is supported only by a small handful of ecological extremists-activists.
The largest uprising of experts against the arbitrariness of politicians in history. National parks
The reason why the professional community is strongly protesting against the transfer of national parks to the Ministry of Environment is that so-called ecoterrorism harms national parks the most. In national parks where ecological extremists-activists are most active, surprisingly, nature is most damaged, in contrast to ordinary commercial forests, where we have beautiful forests. Ecological extremists are fiercely fighting against the measures of foresters against the spread of the bark beetle.
It is quite logical that the transfer of national parks to the Ministry of the Environment will strengthen the influence of ecological extremists on national parks. Forestry experts are logically very concerned about the fate of national parks if they come under the greater influence of such fanatics.
Modern-day civic uprising: This is a significant historical event where several forestry and other organizations stood up against the arbitrariness of politicians. ….. Twelve associations write to members of parliament: The parliamentary bill is an absolute denial of the interests of the general public . The PDF attachment is also interesting.
Among the loudest critics of the Ministry of Environment’s proposal is the highly professional and highly respected international forestry institution PEFC , which issues certificates to forests for more sustainable and more ecological management.
A reaction to a complexed vegan pseudo-ecological extremist
I see that you are a vegan extremist. This is also called left-wing pseudo-ecological extremism. I don’t like people who want to impose their veganism on others, just as Anna Záborská wants to impose religious fanaticism on secular people. You are also spreading hateful disinformation from social networks about hunters. The most tragicomic thing is that the most radical vegans are people who have never had personal experience with raising farm animals. This is similar to a virgin trying to teach me about sex. And you yourself keep your dog in the unnatural environment of an apartment and not outdoors, which makes the dog suffer. By the way, I am not a hunter.
The case of the endangerment of the Muránsky Norik horse breed
Why did they want to abolish the breeding of the Norik Muránsky breed with a 70-year tradition? In 2021, businessman Igor Rattaj already criticized Budaj and his lobbyists for their excessive greed for property. He hit the nail on the head. Budaj’s extreme left-wing environmentalists have already realized that they cannot manage the reform of national parks. In their greed, they wanted to bite off more than they could chew. Now, instead of greed, they have shame! They realized that the property was detrimental to them and withdrew from taking over/delimitating the horses. Budaj’s people realized that they would not be able to manage horse breeding. Honest work with horses stinks to Budaj’s people. They would rather steal EU funds. The Ministry of Environment also refuses to give all permits and guarantees to Lesy SR in breeding. The Ministry of Environment promised financial support of 200 thousand only for the next year, without a long-term guarantee. Why did Budaj carry out the reform of national parks when all experts were against it?
I don’t understand why the media supports such a scoundrel, liar, and madman as Ján Budaj. The media doesn’t care about the public interest.

Ján Budaj committed a crime. He faces 5 years in prison.
The legal systems of all states work in such a way that the law is binding on every minister and they must abide by it. However, Ján Budaj is the only minister in the world who claims that the law is not binding on him. Budaj refused to take over the Norik horses under the State Nature Protection and, through blackmail and hostage-taking, forced Minister Vlčan to break the law with an illegal provisional contract. In the future, Minister Vlčan may also have problems because of this. What the employee of the Ministry of Agriculture writes in this article is quite strong stuff. In the event that Budaj does not get into parliament after the elections, which I hope he won’t, then in the case of a criminal complaint, Budaj would face 5 years in prison and parliamentary immunity would not protect him. § 326 of the Criminal Code, Abuse of power by a public official.
Another problem is with Prime Minister Heger, who is unable to force his ministers to comply with the law. Heger is an extremely weak prime minister who has no authority and is being blackmailed by the aggressive Budaj.
This is what it looks like when the ministry is taken over by total lunatics who belong in a psychiatric hospital.
If you read the whole article, you will find out that Budaj is evil. Budaj broke the law and forced Minister Vlčan to break the law as well. The law obliged him to take over the property https://www.lesmedium.sk/aktualne/analyza-kon-s-lesnickou-tradiciou-je-zachraneny
Lies as the basic working method of State Secretary Michal Kiča. In his propaganda video, Secretary Kiča shows how hard he is working to preserve the Norik breed. However, eyewitnesses claim that Kiča has not met with any employee working on the Norik breed. It is clear that Mr. Kiča is afraid to meet with those responsible for the failed corrupt and destructive “reform” of national parks. It is also evident that Mr. Kiča did not travel to the Muránska Planina for work but for relaxation. Allegedly, Michal Kiča very often goes to relax at the cottage of Assoc. Prof. Marcel Uhrin. Marcel Uhrin is a mentally disturbed person who publicly addressed harsh vulgarisms to hunters in his Facebook status. A fantastic role model for his students!

Budaj’s Corruption: Activists of “We Are the Forest” Erik Baláž and Michal Wiezik will receive subsidies worth 900 thousand euros
A truly nasty scandal. Generous subsidies from the recovery plan from the Ministry of the Environment have been published on social media. A significant portion of the entities receiving the subsidies are extremely suspicious, or the amount of the subsidies is many times inflated. Two organizations of activists, Erik Baláž and Michal Wiezik, will receive subsidies worth 900,000 euros. Baláž’s unsuccessful project Lesmír will receive 320,000 euros, and Baláž’s and Wiezik’s Aevis foundation will receive 580,000 euros. By the way, the official website of the “My sme les” (We are the forest) initiative states that the Aevis foundation is behind it. So the claim that the “My sme les” initiative will receive 580,000 euros is correct. So one million euros will go to nature tourism. Nature tourism primarily means accompanying tourists. Erik Baláž already makes a living from this today; it can be found in publicly accessible advertisements. So I assume that now Erik Baláž will accompany tourists from the recovery plan for 5000 euros per hour. The boys Baláž and Wiezik don’t have to work for the rest of their lives. They’ve earned it. We anti-corruption activists are clear that this money cannot be used reasonably. The media deals with trivialities, they like to deal with various micro-affairs of politicians, but the fact that millions are being stolen from the recovery plan doesn’t bother them. The information is public, and you can easily find out that the Aevis foundation is behind “My sme les”. Behind the Aevis foundation are Erik Baláž and Michal Wiezik. I publicly call on these two gentlemen to provide us with evidence that they will not steal the money but will use it for meaningful things, because I am skeptical. I would like to see a breakdown of every euro and where it will go. The boys don’t have to work for the next 20 years. They’ve earned it.

It would be difficult for Budaj to explain why many honest and transparent applicants failed. Shady companies succeeded in the tender. And not only the projects of the urbarium failed, but also the projects of the municipalities. It would be very difficult for Budaj and his secretaries to explain why they consider a car repair shop or a company without sales to be more credible than an urbarium or a municipality.
Protection of predators in Slovakia are the embezzlers of EU funds: consulting activities for 7 million euros
For 7 million euros, they provide consultancy services to energy companies on where it is optimal to place reflective elements on power lines to prevent birds from colliding with them. According to available information, the installation costs are covered by the energy companies themselves, and they also mostly provide the installation.
The reason I started looking into the “OZ Ochrana dravcov na Slovensku” (Association for the Protection of Birds of Prey in Slovakia) is that the most aggressive attacks, whether against me or other anti-corruption activists, came from Mr. Stanislav Kováč – an employee of the association. I suspected that these attacks had a rational basis, which was later confirmed. Mr. Kováč attacked anyone who criticized the BROZ association for embezzling EU funds. He claimed that the EU Life grant programs were absolutely transparent, that nothing was being stolen, and that he himself worked hard for 5 euros an hour. Relevant evidence suggests that the BROZ association helped the Association for the Protection of Birds of Prey secure grants worth 7 million euros. That is why the Association for the Protection of Birds of Prey is indebted to BROZ, and that is why Mr. Kováč so aggressively attacks BROZ’s critics. For 5 euros an hour, Mr. Kováč would not have the motivation to denigrate the work of us anti-corruption activists.
It seems that the Raptor Protection used to be serious and honest conservationists in the past, but today this is certainly not the case. People change, organizations change.
A high-ranking employee of the European Commission, Slovak citizen Ladislav Miko, was also an important part of the organized corruption structure. Ladislav Miko helped arrange subsidies for both associations, including the named project. On December 31, 2021, he was dismissed from his position due to suspicions of corruption and conflict of interest.
I publicly call on you, Mr. Kováč, to publish a complete and detailed table of what the money was spent on and what it will be spent on, so that any doubts are dispelled and you can prove your transparency. In case of personal attacks, you will be blocked.

The first private national park, Podunajsko. Unveiling the truth about it. An oligarchic group is behind it.
Currently, there is very strong lobbying for the establishment of the Podunajsko National Park. The idea that if a national park (NP) were to be established, it would de facto be a private NP, is not far from the truth. Behind the lobbying is the influential oligarchic group BROZ, which has bought or leased around 1500 plots in this planned territory. Where BROZ got the money for this is a big “mystery”, because legally they should not have such huge amounts of money. The money comes mainly from embezzled EU funds. They don’t know what to do with the money, so they buy and lease land. BROZ would thus have very strong negotiating conditions in the planned NP, as it would be the most dominant owner and lessee of the land there.
Just for the record, EU funds such as LIFE + are a goldmine for embezzling EU money – on average, 93-95% is stolen , so the vast majority . Or, diplomatically and politically correctly, we can call the embezzlement of EU funds a “commission” of 93-95%.
The planned Podunajsko National Park has nothing to do with nature conservation or the public interest. These are the egoistic, greedy, and power-driven goals of the private oligarchic group BROZ, known embezzlers of EU funds . By establishing the Podunajsko National Park, BROZ could draw even more EU funds. The condition for approving the LIFE project is that it must be a cross-border project, so one project would include the Podunajsko National Park and the Duna-Ipoly National Park. A bottomless gold mine.
I ask: where are the investigative journalists? Who bribed them to keep silent about the BROZ association? And where is the Stop Corruption Foundation and the like?
Case: Samuel Vlčan accepted a bribe from Ján Budaj
Case: Samuel Vlčan accepted a bribe from Ján Budaj. This explains the mystery of why Samuel Vlčan was so uncritical of Budaj and his crazy people, why the zoning with the expansion of non-intervention went so easily, and why Vlčan confirmed and sealed Budaj’s illegal contract on the non-takeover of Norik horses from Lesy SR to the State Nature Protection. The bizarre resolution of Norik.

How Ján Budaj blackmailed Samuel Vlčan. The landfill case. Budaj’s secretary Kiča confessed to corruption.
We have learned very interesting news from the media. About how Budaj’s state secretary de facto confessed to a criminal offense and how strong leverage Ján Budaj had to blackmail Vlčan.
Vlčan’s landfill was fined for environmental reasons. It doesn’t matter whether the fine was issued by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate or the state administration, as both are subordinate to the Ministry of the Environment. On the other hand, Vlčan’s landfill has mysteriously seen a surge in revenue since he became active in politics, and it was also allocated a subsidy. Furthermore, the landfill borders a protected saline marshland, and the company plans to expand the landfill closer to the protected area.
What does this imply? It implies terrifying things. Only after the revelation of this very ugly affair did we learn the unpleasant truth about how strong the leverage Ján Budaj and his corrupt suite had to blackmail Vlčan. If Vlčan wants Budaj’s people to approve the landfill expansion, he must obey Budaj. If Vlčan does not want to be fined by Budaj’s people, he must obey Budaj. If Vlčan wants more contracts and higher revenues, he must obey Budaj, because the Ministry of Environment is also in charge of landfilling. If Vlčan wants a subsidy, he must obey Budaj.
Now we can wonder why Vlčan has been giving in to Budaj in everything so far, why he went against his conscience and against the public interest. Budaj had strong leverage for blackmail. Now we understand why the extremely controversial deformation of national parks went so smoothly, with the active involvement of Vlčan, even though the entire expert community was against it, with the exception of one percent of pseudo-ecologists who made an unethical business out of stealing EU fund subsidies. We also can no longer wonder why the reckless and irrational expansion of no-intervention zones in national parks during the zoning process, even with the active involvement of Vlčan, is proceeding so easily, smoothly, and quickly, even though 99% of experts are against it and it is against the public interest.
Furthermore, I would like to thank Budaj’s State Secretary Michal Kiča for admitting to a criminal offense, admitting to corruption in the “Téma dňa” (Topic of the Day) program on TA3 on May 4, 2023. His testimony is valuable evidence for the police. Michal Kiča claimed that the corrupt system of subsidies, set up during the Smer party’s time, suited him. Because if it didn’t suit him, he would have had enough time to propose an amendment to the law to change it, but he did not use this opportunity. At the same time, Kiča himself criticized the non-transparent system of subsidies and blamed the Smer party, saying that it was responsible for Vlčan’s subsidy.
Then Kiča claimed that the ownership of the company in the case of Vlčana’s company was verified only when the contract was signed, that is, after the subsidy was practically irrevocably approved.
Furthermore, Kiča and Budaj claim that they will check and investigate everything. This is just a psychological tactic and manipulation to calm the media. This whole thing can be checked and investigated within one day, and Budaj and Kiča have not yet come up with any results other than that everything is fine.
Ban on combustion cars. Electric cars. Electromobility. Aggressive Budaj called Sulík a fascist because of the complete ban on combustion cars.
The crazy and aggressive Budaj should never have become a minister. A madman is not fit to be a minister. Budaj lied in parliament, just as he lied throughout his term as minister; lying and manipulation were his basic working methods. Budaj did not refrain from personal insults and invectives. He behaves this way towards anyone who disagrees with him. The StB agent Budaj is a boor, and his manner of communication is below the level of pub talk.
Slovak nature will take a long time to recover from the damage caused by Ján Budaj.
When he was removed from the post of minister due to a corruption scandal, he received a very cold shower upon his return to parliament. Karma caught up with him, and the MPs really gave him a hard time. In parliament, Budaj is no longer as isolated and barricaded as he was at the ministry, where he refused to communicate with his critics and experts. In parliament, he woke up to a harsh reality.
In the parliamentary debate, we learned information that was not publicly known until today. Budaj and the secretary of Minister Hirman illegally voted in Brussels for the complete ban on combustion cars. Intrigues, fraud, and lies have always been the main motto of Budaj and his suite.
The parliament also featured a speech by a Member of Parliament I find very unsympathetic, the Christian fundamentalist, religious extremist Peter Kremský (OĽANO), who spoke in the style of Matovič.
I firmly believe that Budaj’s geriatric club “Change from Below”, which is under the wing of the Democrats party, will not get into parliament.
MPs Stančík and Čekovský, who were the only ones to support Budaj in his pub talk, did not refrain from aggressive personal attacks and invectives against Sulík. I firmly believe that they will not get into parliament. I have several reservations about these MPs. While Čekovský was one of the most aggressive spreaders of disinformation in the biggest corruption scandal in the history of Slovak politics in the deformation of national parks, Stančík stated in TA3 that Sweden has the best migration policy.
In his party, Democrats, Heger surrounded himself with the literal waste of all Slovak politics. The extremely volatile, egocentric, and unlikeable MP Juraj Šeliga is the pinnacle of the Democrats’ party. A boy at the mental level of a 14-year-old boy.

The coexistence of sheep and wolves
Some time ago, the project “Coexistence of sheep and wolves” was discussed. My Norwegian friend smiled and said: “Such coexistence of predator and prey can only work until something fails,” according to Murphy’s 1st law, that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong (the attention of guard dogs will be diverted by other animals, male dogs will be attracted by a foreign female in heat, an electric fence will fail, someone will forget to close a door or gate, shepherds have to leave for a while for serious reasons…). For this reason, prevention and setting priorities are important, what is more important for society: 1. rural development and with it food security, production of healthy food and support of biodiversity by grazing pastures, or 2. boundless support of a predator, whose high numbers allow high numbers of ungulates and which cannot be exterminated by firearms and practically no one is going to exterminate it, but only manage it. Norway, at a time when only in the southern part of a country 7.9 times larger than Slovakia it recorded about 20 (!) wolves on the border with Sweden, decided to reduce them by half to allow free grazing of cattle, which graze scattered in the country as shown in the picture. This is the second “extreme” approach, as we practice in Slovakia, but why not choose the “golden mean”?
(This is a statement by Stanislav Bystriansky, source: FB)
Ecological accident at the Eko-Bio Budča sro biogas plant
This is a huge scandal. The forest protection group Vlk preaches water but drinks wine. The Vlk association, these biggest “protectors” of forests and bears, has very friendly contacts with the then director of the Eko-Bio Budča sro biogas plant, Valter Repka, which caused a huge ecological disaster in July 2019, damages worth half a billion, and a massive fish kill on the Hron river. It is Mr. Valter Repka who bears legal responsibility for the disaster, as he was the director (procurator) of this biogas plant at the time of the disaster. On Facebook, Mr. Repka defended the ecological disaster. Repka even personally met with the main activist of the Vlk association, Katarína Grichová. Among his friends on FB, Mr. Repka has many “ecologists” such as Juraj Lukáč, Jana Zajaková (Vlk), Juraj Rizman, Karol Kaliský, Pavol Littera (=deputy head of BROZ). Moreover, Mr. Repka has the outrageous person Ján Jenčo among his friends, who is the former director of the environmental inspection (2020-2023). I consider it highly probable that Mr. Repka tried to use contacts among “environmentalists” to have Jenčo arrange impunity for him, which Jenčo certainly had influence over. Ján Budaj and Juraj Lukáč publicly boasted that they have intensive contacts with each other. The new ministry leadership can verify information on whether Jenčo tried to corruptly help Repka, for example, with falsified expert opinions and the like.

Denník N spreads hoaxes and propaganda in favor of corrupt groups in nature conservation. Authentic evidence.
Loggers are concerned that people close to Smer and SNS are starting to profit from the timber business again. State forests are blocking their supplies https://e.dennikn.sk/3767316/drevari-sa-obavaju-ze-biznis-s-drevom-zasa-kazia-ludia-blizki-smeru-a-sns-statne-lesy-im-blokuju-dodavky/
The hoax was also gladly shared by the bankruptcy lawyer Michal Kiča – Budaj’s former state secretary.
That article is a propaganda pamphlet, probably commissioned by BROZ, because Minister Takáč criticized the embezzlement of EU funds for nature protection. The time has come to take revenge on him with propaganda. The author of the article himself admits that he has no evidence or indications of any corruption and that these are just his very subjective, amateurish opinions and imagination. To automatically see corruption behind the delay in extending contracts, that some alleged anonymous companies close to government parties are supposed to be favored, that takes too much imagination. Apart from the sensational headline, there is nothing in the article.
A very interesting article with a manipulative title. The author himself admits that among the aggrieved companies whose contract extensions are delayed is Kronospan, which contradicts the author’s own statement about possible corruption.
The author of this article is crazy. He interpreted the managerial incompetence at the ministry, that the contracts with wood will be extended late, as automatic corruption. He claims that some companies should be preferred according to him, but in the article he admits that it is only his fantasy, that he has no indications, evidence and did not even mention the name of the specific company that should be preferred.
Evidence that “We are the Forest” is a political initiative of the Progressive Slovakia party
As a long-time anti-corruption activist, I know who is behind “My sme les”. It’s Progresívne Slovensko or Michal Wiezik. Click on the financial support of My sme les and you will see that the Aevis foundation is behind them. Wiezik’s Aevis foundation will receive a 580,000 euro subsidy from Budaj.
Where can you find out that Michal Wiezik is behind Aevis? Read the annual reports of the Aevis Foundation. Budaj’s advisor Michal Wiezik only left Aevis after he received a grant from Budaj from the Recovery Plan. Wiezik is a fraudster with subsidies.
Wiezik himself boasted about being Budaj’s advisor in a podcast on Denník N with Soňa Maková.
The civic association Prales has admitted to fraud. Yes, we admit, we made up fake primeval forests even where there are none.
The civic association Prales are fraudsters. Several foresters have complained that this association invents fake primeval forests, even in habitats where spruce monocultures are not the original tree composition. This is especially true in the Low Tatras. Mr. Jasík discussed this with me and initially denied it, but later, under the weight of strong arguments, he had to at least partially admit in his last comment that it was true. Thank you, Mr. Jasík, for your honesty in admitting it. Initially, Mr. Jasík claimed that his Prales had also been recognized by the NLC. Later, however, he admitted that what his association Prales had designated as a primeval forest was not actually a primeval forest. Mr. Jasík wrote something far different from what the media , WWF, or Budaj’s ministry and Budaj’s State Nature Protection were spreading. Mr. Jasík himself admitted that he had lied to the public about what was actually going on with those fake primeval forests.
Since former Minister Mičovský wanted to be on good terms with conservationists at all costs, he made a concession to them and recognized the fake primeval forests of the Primeval Forests of Slovakia Nature Reserve, although he certainly knew better himself.
Marián Jasík, OZ Prales, and his comment on Facebook, verbatim without editing:
“It’s your problem that you’re not up to date on the issue you’re writing about. Otherwise, you’d know that by signing the Carpathian Convention, Slovakia has committed to something in the area of primeval forests. I won’t write to you about what, study it up. You’re confusing two things. The mapping of primeval forests, which results in a layer and a database of primeval forests. These are primeval forests. These are really the top preserved forests. The Pralesy Slovenska (Primeval Forests of Slovakia) nature reserve is significantly larger and includes not only primeval forests but also forests significantly altered by humans. It can even include small areas of spruce monocultures. So what are we debating? About primeval forests or about the reserve for their protection? Because that’s a fundamental difference.”

Aggressive disinformation frenzy of Denník N and Denník SME. Dismissal of the director of the Poloniny National Park, Buraľ
The fact that Minister Taraba and his secretary, top environmental expert Filip Kuffa, decided to put an end to corruption at the ministry did not go unnoticed by the corrupt groups, who want to take revenge on them through journalists they have bought and bribed.
Journalist prostitute Soňa Mäkká (Denník N) aggressively attacks the ministry. Her article is full of dubious gossip and unverified rumors; she herself uses the words “allegedly” and “reportedly.” Mäkká invented a theory that the acting director of Poloniny is the wife of an allegedly controversial forester who has some contacts with a person who has some contacts with Kvietik. Very aggressive disinformation and propaganda. Friends of Kvietik’s friends, this could be up to 500 people. Are we going to condemn all 500 people?
There are only two options. Either someone paid journalist Mäkkej well, or she suffers from a severe mental disorder.
The journalists from Denník SME showed amazing “objectivity”. In the whole article, they only gave space to Kiča from a political party that gained less than 3 percent. Where is the statement from the ministry? It is completely missing. Kiča is a white horse of the organized criminal group BROZ and corruptly arranged tens of millions of euros for them in dubious subsidies and EU funds. The main source of disinformation for Denník SME, Aktuality.sk and Denník N.

Who is the former director of the park, Buraľ? What is the truth? For what kind of scoundrel are some journalists willing to “lay down their lives”?
Buraľ became famous for stealing wood. The media decided to censor this affair, even though I sent it to them. The media always helped Budaj cover up the cases of his nominees.

Buraľ’s case: “The nature warden was shocked. He was picking blueberries in the fifth degree of protection, which cost him his job.”
Filip Kuffa, then an opposition MP, recorded a video saying that he had first-hand information that the whole thing was different. It was not one employee of the State Nature Protection who was guilty, but two. The media spread disinformation about only one guilty employee. And the reality was that the director of the park, Buraľ, sent them to pick blueberries.

Why are the media campaigning against the head of TANAP, Olexa?
The media launched a hateful disinformation campaign against the new directors of national parks. They claim that they are just incompetent hunters who have nothing to do with nature protection. The disinformation was published by journalist Kubisová and the hoax was picked up by a significant number of other media outlets. But what is the truth? Both new park directors are graduates of the Faculty of Zoology and Hunting. About 10% of all employees of the State Nature Protection are in the position of zoologists, although they often have a degree in another field. The Technical University in Zvolen also has a very high level and credibility. The truth is that the education of the new park directors is ideal for their position. Budaj’s chief bear expert Michal Haring, who was adored in the media as the greatest bear expert in Slovakia, had a degree in nature conservation at the University of Žilina, which is a school for the biggest slackers. Nothing easier to study.
The poacher case. The head of the Olexa National Park
While the media censored almost all of Budaj’s corruption affairs, even though they had information about them, they, on the contrary, blew up the Olexa case. The media’s double standards.
Olexa’s predecessor, Pavol Majko, had far more serious corruption affairs, for which he could theoretically be imprisoned for up to 20 years. The media found out about it but remained silent because Budaj reappointed him as director. Link1 , Link2 , Link3 .
I ask the media: Why such double standards?
It would be extremely difficult for many journalists to answer that.
Let the media first publish all of Budaj’s scandals, which are very serious corruption offenses where tens to hundreds of millions were stolen, and only then should they be outraged at Olexa.
It is very embarrassing that neither Korčok nor the opposition MPs can find anything better to say about the coalition in their media statements than to constantly recycle the word “poacher”. I hear it almost every day.
If the media were free and told the truth about Budaj, people would certainly not be protesting in the squares over such trivialities as the abolition of the Special Prosecutor’s Office or the amendment to the Criminal Code, but would be protesting against corruption in nature protection, similar to the Gorilla case.
Insolvency lawyer Michal Kiča. A strange media phenomenon
Despite the fact that all media were informed that Budaj’s former state secretary Kiča is a white horse of the criminal corruption group BROZ and that there are huge corruption scandals behind him, in some media he is quoted more than the Ministry of Environment itself, an official state institution. This applies in particular to Denník SME, Denník N, and Aktuality.sk.
The political party Democrats received only 2.6% in the elections. When the SNS party was out of parliament, Andrej Danko received practically no media coverage. Similarly, the extra-parliamentary party Alliance currently receives absolutely no media coverage. Kiča is even quoted far more in the media than former Prime Minister Eduard Heger or party chairman Jaroslav Naď. This is something absolutely insane. Many journalists have completely lost their minds.
Why does Kiča have such a miraculously huge space in the media? The BROZ corruption group is known for bribing the media, so journalists do it only for money. BROZ’s white horse, Kiča, is in the role of spokesperson for the BROZ corruption group.
For comparison, when Minister Budaj was in office, the media gave virtually no space to his critics, even though top nature conservation expert Filip Kuffa was then an opposition MP and commented quite a lot on Budaj’s politics on Facebook. Today, we are witnessing the exact opposite phenomenon. Only Kiča is quoted in the media; his Facebook statuses and the ministry’s position do not interest them.
I would like to remind you that Kiča received only a ridiculous 890 votes in the elections and is not even an expert on nature protection, yet he is one of the most frequently quoted personalities in the media and is one of the main sources of information and disinformation from the media.
15.2.2024 Studio 24, TV JOJ, another very serious violation of the Broadcasting and Retransmission Act. If any citizen files a complaint with the Broadcasting and Retransmission Council, TV JOJ will pay a fine. In the show, only Michal Kiča was given the opportunity for a monologue, only his lies and propaganda were heard, but no one from the ministry was given the opportunity.
https://joj24.noviny.sk/studio-joj-24/891037-studio-24-pohroma-pre-zivotne-prostredie
It remains a great mystery why the completely insignificant extra-parliamentary Kiča gets even more media space than the eco-activist politicians from the PS party.
There can be several reasons. Kiča has a much stronger motivation to criticize the Ministry of Environment than the PS party, because Kiča is in serious trouble and is not sure if he will end up in Leopoldov behind bars. A dying mare kicks the hardest. It is very likely that Kiča will end up behind bars. At the very least, he faces very difficult police interrogations where he will have to explain why he stole. This information was confirmed by both the secretary at the ministry, Filip Kuffa, on his FB, and Minister Taraba himself. Taraba even claimed that the police visit the ministry almost every day because there are many criminal complaints against the previous leadership. For an ordinary person manipulated by the media, it may seem unbelievable that there could have been so much corruption. However, as an independent analyst, I can confirm that it is true with a probability bordering on certainty. Budaj and his people were not only corrupt but also madmen who were truly capable of anything. With enormous media support, no one curbed their corruption, and they were under no pressure.
Hoax or truth? Is the author Erik Potocký writing the truth in his article or spreading a hoax?
I have a doubt. One piece of information in his article doesn’t seem right to me and doesn’t make sense. Allegedly, after Chrenko became minister, most of the people in the intervention team started to be hunters. Under Budaj, there was allegedly only one hunter. If former minister Chrenko had really achieved such a success, he would have had to overcome the extremely furious resistance of the madman and extremist Marián Hletko, who was in charge of bear issues at the ministry and who hated hunters with all his soul. He would also have had to overcome the furious resistance of the ministry’s secretary Katarína Butkovská, who was also among the hardest extremist core in the topic of nature protection and was certainly not enthusiastic about hunters either. The huge personnel changes in the intervention team in a short time after Chrenko took office also don’t make sense.

The madman Marián Hletko in a TV Markíza report
A propaganda report by TV Markíza. The main source of information is Marián Hletko, a militant ecological extremist, known for spreading the craziest hoaxes about bears. He spread the hoax that regulated bear hunting would cause a radical increase in bear attacks on humans, or that a tick is more dangerous than a bear. He was also the author of a study on bear numbers, spreading the hoax that bears are “dying out” and that the bear population is decreasing. Hletko belongs in a psychiatric hospital, not in a main TV report. Despite the fact that I warned TV Markíza that Hletko is a psychiatric case, they did not listen and still made a report with Hletko. I understand that TV Markíza does not like the current government, but criticizing the ministry at all costs “over dead bodies” by making a report with the craziest psychopath is, in my opinion, a real extreme. Moreover, Markíza violated the law in the report. They did not give the ministry a chance to respond to this crazy Hletko report. If you file a complaint with the Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission, Markíza will be fined.
PS: Interesting fact: in my opinion, Budaj got the information that the bear is a vegetarian from his court advisor Marián Hletko.

Disposal of ammunition depots. Matúš Vallo, Bratislava City Forests
Even though the PS party was not in the government, under the previous government, the system of our people in favor of the PS party, or rather in favor of Matúš Vallo’s impunity, worked very well.
A certain anti-corruption activist told me shocking information about a serious environmental crime committed by the city of Bratislava and a criminal complaint that ended with the environmental police stating that “the act did not happen”.
This was a criminal complaint by an employee of the Bratislava District Office, Department of Environment. It concerned the “liquidation” of an ammunition depot in the Bratislava city forests in a manner that could seriously endanger the environment and groundwater. Apparently, it was just demolished with an excavator and that was it. The anti-corruption activist claimed that the said official provided a large amount of evidence of the crime, many photographs, and even the then director of the forests, Matej Dobšovič, an IT specialist by education, was allegedly in the photo during the demolition.
This happened around 2021.
The clerk worked on a quality criminal complaint for 3 weeks, but the corrupt environmental police dismissed it all. The anti-corruption activist claims that the clerk was almost in tears when she told him about it.
Another problem is that many police officers indirectly accepted bribes from the municipal forests, allowing them to hunt a considerable number of animals, including trophy animals, for free, for which they would normally have to pay a considerable amount of money (1000-3000 euros per animal).
Several police officers from the EVI police hunted together with people who are very close to Matúš Vallo (high-ranking city employees). They also drink alcohol together.
Ammunition depots, Pekná cesta, Krasňany-Rača.
A month after the incident, the forest manager Ivičič was fired from the city forests under the pretext that he was of retirement age. The real reason was that he knew too much, he knew what he shouldn’t have known.
Šúr vs. BROZ association. Illegal grazing of cows, illegally built well, and illegally laid electricity to it.
The corrupt “conservationist” association BROZ consists of bigwigs. Laws do not apply to them. An ordinary person cannot afford to violate laws like BROZ does. BROZ grazes cows in the Šúr reserve on land for which they do not have a lease agreement or any other permit from the owners. Local landowners in Svätý Jur are very angry about this. Complaints to the authorities do not help either. It seems that BROZ has its people everywhere. The motivation for BROZ to violate the law may be great because they receive generous subsidies for grazing cows on the mentioned land, as well as for the turtle project. In Šúr, BROZ grazes cows through a collaborator whom they financially support from a Euro-fund project. In 2015-2016, BROZ illegally drilled a well in the meadows of the Šúr reserve for the purpose of watering cattle, without the consent of the landowners and without the consent of nature protection authorities. From a building belonging to Comenius University, they again illegally extended electricity for pumps to draw water from the well, without the consent of the landowners and nature protection authorities. The District Office only granted them permission for the well construction and excavation work for the cable retrospectively in 2019. Even the electricity consumption itself should be illegal. They have not received permission from the landowners to this day. The cows are let loose wildly, have no boundaries, and thus also endanger local visitors.
BROZ member Jaromír Šíbl. Illegal reinforcement of the black stork’s nest and a criminal complaint regarding the Jurassic Lake.
Jaromír Šíbl, a prominent eco-activist from the environmental association BROZ, was involved in an illegal eco-activity in the Šúr nature reserve, which is under the fifth degree of protection. Without permission from the State Nature Protection (ŠOP), he used a climber to reinforce a black stork’s nest. Photos of the activity were also published on the NPR Šúr Facebook page. However, the heroic act turned into an embarrassment after someone who is not a fan of BROZ alerted the page administrator, Mr. Jaroslav Praženka, who was also involved in the activity, that it was illegal. Mr. Praženka deleted the photos, but some people managed to take screenshots before they were removed. Jaromír Šíbl can be seen in the photo wearing a dark brown jacket. The incident occurred in the spring of 2023.
It was not the first time Jaromír Šíbl had problems with the law. On January 16, 2020, Šíbl was caught by the administrator red-handed when, without the permission of the Nature Conservation Agency and without the permission of the owner or administrator, he was filling a canal with soil in the Jurské jazero reserve, which is under the fourth degree of protection. This was a criminal offense, but unfortunately, the police closed the case as a misdemeanor. This happened just before this man became a member of the National Council.
The BROZ association are the biggest fraudsters with EU funds for fake nature protection. They have already received at least 80 million euros from EU funds. Under Budaj, BROZ took full control of the ministry.
The Ján Jenčo case, overpriced tablets vs. Aktuality.sk
A small miracle happened. Aktuality.sk, despite being partly financed and sponsored by the corrupt group BROZ, published at least one of Budaj’s affairs, or rather his nominee Ján Jenčo. There’s just one catch. Aktuality probably had this information for more than a year, maybe even two years, yet they published it with a time delay, when it was no longer relevant and when Jenčo had not been in office for several months. If they had wanted to, they could have published it while Budaj or Chrenko were still in office.
Furthermore, although Aktuality published this one affair, they concealed several dozen others about which they had information.
Furthermore, it is interesting that the article’s visibility was subsequently reduced and it was placed in an additional category. Apparently, their sponsors from BROZ started to pressure the news outlets to write in their favor and free journalism is forbidden.
https://www.aktuality.sk/clanok/XGUMKT8/stat-dal-800-tisic-za-tablety-pre-inspektorov-jeden-stoji-3300-eur-lacnejsie-riesenie-odmietli/
The smear campaign of environmental extremists against hunters is in full swing. I will give a few examples.
The crazy extremist, self-proclaimed bear expert Marián Hletko, managed to find a wild boar that had been hit by a car and injured by the roadside near the Šúr locality. Later, the wild boar mysteriously ended up relocated in the middle of the Šúr reserve. Hletko called the police. Apparently, his goal was to discredit hunters, to portray them as animal abusers. And do you know who is the most hated and cursed person by local police officers? It is Marián Hletko. The police were very angry with Hletko when, due to his criminal complaint about a hypothetical minor offense, they had to wade through flooded swamps. The police got stuck and their car got bogged down in the mud, and they had to continue wading through swamps so deep that they were wet almost up to their waists. They swore a lot. Hletko suffers from a strange perversion, he enjoys harassing police officers. I personally propose to deprive Hletko of his legal capacity, to deprive him of his ability to perform legal acts, so that he is forbidden to file criminal complaints. A mentally healthy person would never think of such crazy things as the deranged Hletko.
Another affair involving the environmentalists is that at least two witnesses saw a white pickup truck with a trailer fully loaded with pastries in the Šúr reserve. Perhaps the goal was to store the pastries and, at an opportune moment, scatter them around the hunting ground and falsely accuse the hunters. The car was parked near the biological station belonging to the university, where environmentalists sometimes stay. Local hunters believe that the car belonged to a former employee of the BROZ association, a certain Mr. Peter. When I asked Mr. Peter if it was his car, he just arrogantly snapped something at me and refused to answer the question. The hunters also noted two places where pastries, not from them, were scattered, in a volume of about 30 liters. Theoretically, this feed from the white pickup truck could have been intended for the local horses, but Mr. Peter is not a university employee, and even for horses, it is unsuitable feed.
The extremist organization Prales Deťom (Forest for Children) consists of strongly fanatical vegans who, among other things, hate hunters for this ideological reason and are working intensively on a smear campaign. They also cooperate intensively with Hletka. For example, they appear together in a film called “The Bear’s Eye”, which is a smear campaign against hunters. They often publish various fake photos of hunters’ bait sites, showing freshly cut melons or freshly placed pastries that the game has not even touched yet.
On February 25, 2024, the extremists from Prales Deťom announced a camp in Slovakia. And lo and behold, you won’t believe it, about five days before the camp started, a forester who works in the Kremnické Vrchy wrote to me that he had seen a green pickup truck with a trailer, also loaded with pastries, which certainly wasn’t from the area. The 2021 film Oko Medveďa (Bear’s Eye) was set in the Kremnické Vrchy. This was probably also an attempt at a smear campaign against hunters. Such things cannot be a coincidence.
On February 27, Prales Deťom published a photo of a strangled doe, stating that they had called the police. This was already outside Šúru. This happened just a few days after their close friend Hletko published a very similar incident with a wild boar. Suspiciously many common features with Hletko’s case.
And just as a matter of interest, the head of Prales Deťom, Milan Jeglík, only has a secondary forestry school education, so he is not much of an expert in terms of education.
Biography of Matej Dobšovič, who wanted to poison the people of Bratislava
In the past, the police investigated Dobšovič, the then statutory representative of the Bratislava Municipal Forests (MLB), for poisoning groundwater during the demolition of an old ammunition depot.
By education, he is an IT programmer.
The director of the forests became a total dilettante. He declared large areas of no-intervention zones in the forests, which you wouldn’t convince any expert to do in his position, because it’s a highly specialized issue and has at least as many disadvantages as advantages.
Later, Comrade Budaj takes Dobšovič to the ministry, where he is in charge of the zoning of national parks. At that time, the ministry employed such extreme lunatics and extreme corrupt individuals that no expert wanted to work for Budaj; all experts turned their backs on Budaj and his people. Budaj was in complete isolation; no normal person wanted to talk to him, so they only persuaded the dilettante Dobšovič to take this position.
Currently, Dobšovič has once again become the head of the ZOO, also as Vall’s dilettante.
Hoaxes by Marián Hletko about the hunting association from Šúr
He was indignant about the number of hunting stands, but he doesn’t know that the stands belong to two associations.
He claimed that the hunters did not have the necessary permits to place the hunting stands, while the placement of the hunting stands was approved by all the necessary authorities, from the veterinary office, through the district office’s environmental department, to the state nature conservation.
He made an infantile video, at the level of a twelve-year-old boy, that the hunters had not removed an old hunting stand. The stand was 25 years old and was from the former state forests.
However, Hletko has double standards. He is not interested in the waste that has been there for a long time and was brought there by other people, not hunters. Part of it has already been removed by the hunting association.
Ján Budaj has been charged.
So this is a big event that will go down in history. The “big fish” Ján Budaj is very afraid that he will go to jail. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against Ján Budaj. Perhaps this is why Michal Kiča is so extremely nervous and has been spewing so many hoaxes and hatred towards the current leadership of the ministry. Perhaps this is the main reason for the attacks by Michal Wiezik or the fraudsters from “My sme les”. Budaj and his secretaries caused enormous damage at the ministry with the great support of the media, which decided to censor the vast majority of the scandals. For us anti-corruption activists, it is a great satisfaction that karma has come for Budaj. Some biased media will probably try to divert attention from this Budaj affair with stupid attacks on the ministry.

The crime of negligent homicide. Hletko could go to jail. The crime of general endangerment.
Croatians have published sensitive footage of a bear attack in Slovakia. The name of the Facebook page is Hrvatski lovački portal-Forum. Warning: the photos published there are not suitable for sensitive people. Rudolf Huliak confirmed the authenticity of these photos. The woman’s legs show injuries that could only have been caused by a bear. You can see bite marks from the bear’s teeth, fangs, (and possibly stab wounds from its claws). The information that Marián Hletko is responsible for the death of this woman has been confirmed. He prevented this dangerous bear from being eliminated. It is very important that people know what Hletko is responsible for. It is very sad how some media attacked the Secretary of the Ministry of Environment when he was kicked out of the ministry. They said the ministry got rid of all “experts”. It is also very sad how much space the media gave this murderer (Aktuality.sk, Denník N, Markíza, Denník SME), even though I warned them that Hletko is evil. Some media also spread a hoax against R. Huliak, claiming he wanted to hang Hletko. Was it really worth it for some journalists to defend this murderer in this way?
It’s interesting how much hate the ministry received when they dismissed the scoundrels Hletko and Marek Kuchta. These murderers, who prevented the elimination of a problematic bear.
I urge all journalists to never again give space to the fraudsters from My sme les, as their member Marek Kuchta is responsible for a death.
https://www.mojevideo.sk/video/3c6e2/brania_nam_odstranovat_problemove_medvede_a_ludia_preto_chcu_volit_radikalov.html
I know very well who Hletko is. A psychiatric patient. He is responsible for the death of that Belarusian woman. He forbade the elimination of the bear that killed her about half a year ago, when he was walking on the golf course in Tály, even though the intervention team asked him to do so. He held a high position at the ministry at the time. A madman with blood on his hands.
Rudolf Huliak’s statement on Facebook
A bear attacked two tourists, the first time in the history of Slovakia that it attacked them as food. They split up and it chose a victim, a woman who secreted more stress hormone than a man because she naturally had more stress. This bear chased her into a ditch, where she probably fell so unfortunately on her head that it caused her death. Subsequently, the bear bit her and dragged her about 50 meters into the nearest bushes, and if I were to show you photos of the mauled woman, you would stop babbling about the bear having nothing to do with it. A rescue dog and the police finally scared it away. It is probably an individual marked a year ago with an ear tag at the golf course in Tály. At that time, Slastan asked Hletko and Kuchta to euthanize the bear because it kept returning to Tály. They refused, saying that not all elements of aversion therapy had been used. So here you have therapy live. From a synanthropic cub, a man-eating bear grew up thanks to people like Hletko and Kuchta, a young 31-year-old woman died. When I read these comments, I feel sick from your green thieving lobby. A third person has died, how many more will it take for these green brains to stop misleading.

Marián Hletko is responsible for the death of a Belarusian tourist. Let’s hope this madman is locked up for General Endangerment under § 284. Jaroslav Slašťan accuses Hletko of hacking into the State Nature Protection database to delete the reasons for removing the bear from Tále, which then went on a killing spree. Slašťan further claims that Hletko told the family of the bear’s victim to cut down their fruit trees so as not to attract bears. This was Budaj’s Kičov and Smatan’s “expert” on bears at the ministry. Hletko is not a human being. He is a heartless, mangy hyena without a shred of feeling, humanity, or empathy. https://www.postoj.sk/155539/reakcia-na-tvrdenia-mariana-hletka
Journalist Erik Potocký spread a hoax in the daily Postoj. Confirmed.
Journalist Erik Potocký spread a hoax when he wrote an article for the daily Postoj titled: “Don’t condemn the Brown Bear Intervention Team / The majority are hunters, the ministry is kicking down an open door”. According to what Rudolf Huliak says, it can be concluded that most members of the intervention team only obtained their hunting authorization after becoming employees of the intervention team and never had experience with real hunting. Whether such a person can be called a hunter is a matter of perspective. So, the expertise of the intervention team is not as great as journalist Erik Potocký claimed. The journalist presented information in a malicious and manipulative way, spreading half-truths/half-lies. The full interview can be found on the YouTube channel ” Rozhovory s Mimi Šramovou “.
A historic event in the history of the Slovak Republic and the EU. The meeting on bears at the Council of Ministers before the European Commission.
A historic event in the history of the Slovak Republic and the EU. It was a meeting of the Council of all Environment Ministers of the EU member states before the European Commission (EC), and for the first time, the reduction of bear protection was discussed. As far as I know, neither the European Commission nor the European Parliament can approve any directive without the consent of the Council of Ministers, so it is a body of high importance. It is expected that after the next elections to the European Parliament, there will be a significant weakening of eco-fascist political parties. After the elections, the EC will probably be willing to accommodate states threatened by bears. In Western countries, there is a major shift in public opinion regarding ecological extremism. Not only in Slovakia but also in Western countries like Germany or the Netherlands, people are fed up with eco-fascists. https://www.facebook.com/tomastaraba.sk/videos/1411865309452610/
Miroslav Saniga
I know Mr. Miroslav Saniga. Mr. Saniga is a good, kind man, but he is a bit strange. If you killed a fly in front of him, his heart would break from grief. Let alone the regulated hunting of bears in his world of thought. A very sensitive person. But I am sorry that Aktuality.sk misused Saniga to spread propaganda. Maybe he wrote it under psychological pressure, because eco-extremists could easily break such a sensitive person. In the article, Saniga repeated practically all the common hoaxes of extreme ecologists about bears. https://www.aktuality.sk/clanok/vkokwiO/ako-neurobit-medvedej-populacii-u-nas-medvediu-sluzbu/
Martin Šimečka’s hateful article on the topic of bears. He compares the voters of the coalition parties to Nazis. Šimečka has gone mad.
I am deeply concerned about how journalist Martin Šimečka spreads hatred and contributes to the polarization and division of society. Šimečka would easily win the award for the most hateful article of the last 35 years. This is an article entitled ” Bears hate artists for the same reason: because they are free beings “.
It is not known what motivated Šimečka to write an article on the professional topic of bears and nature conservation, despite the fact that he does not understand the issue at all.
Although Denník N presents itself as fighting against conspiracies, on the contrary, they themselves are spreading an illustration attached to several articles, which is a conspiracy that Taraba and Huliak released bears on people before the elections.
Martin Šimečka certainly does not belong in a Bratislava café, but in a Bratislava pub. The level of his boorish, loutish article is about the same as if he had written it with five per mille of alcohol. Moreover, his article fulfills the elements of a criminal offense, namely hate speech.
The whole article is in the context that only the voters of the current coalition are responsible for the regulation of bears, which is a disgusting lie. This is unnecessary labeling and division of society.
The strongest and most offensive words Šimečka used are in the sentence in which he uses the terminology of German Nazis, the phrase “final solution”. Such extreme words are so offensive that it is unacceptable to use them even if they were a metaphor or hyperbole. He compares Medveďov to Jews whom the voters of the coalition parties would like to wipe out. Dear Mr. Šimečka, watch your words, because you really overdid it. I would recommend that you seek the help of a psychotherapist to help you get rid of your hatred. How would you like it if someone, even indirectly, metaphorically compared the voters of Progressive Slovakia to Nazis?
Martin Šimečka’s article cannot be separated from the Progressive Slovakia party, as his son Michal is the party’s chairman. Dear Mr. Michal Šimečka, I publicly call on you to apologize for your father’s article on behalf of the entire party at a press conference. I also publicly call on all PS MPs to apologize for Martin’s article, each individually on their social media profiles.
Furthermore, Šimečka’s article could not have been published without the consent of the editor-in-chief and co-owner of Denník N, Matúš Kostolný. Dear Mr. Matúš Kostolný, I publicly urge you to apologize for this article by Martin, because you are responsible for it.
Other editors of Denník N also continued the wave of hatred against Martin Šimečka. Editor Soňa Mäkká wrote an article entitled “The Tatra National Park is run by the Kuffa family according to their employees, the poacher director is in the background”. The infantile article is a desperate unsuccessful attempt to find compromising materials on the ministry’s secretary. Journalist Andrej Bán follows up on Soňa Mäkká’s article and writes an article entitled “Tatra Private Park Kuffaland”.
While just a few years ago it was typical for debaters who are voters of the Progressive Slovakia party to be polite in discussions on social networks, today the situation has radically changed, partly due to the influence of journalists like Šimečka.
A review of my article by a certain woman
Your input was stimulating , it caught my attention! I agree with your opinion. Yes, it’s labeling/pigeonholing and some kind of senseless direct proportion, that the voters of the current government are proponents of bear regulation, it’s pseudo-logic: Mr. Šimečka’s entire article in Denník N is incredibly hysterical, as if cut from the description of a hysterical personality with all the symptoms that belong to this diagnosis, namely: hysterical pseudo-logic, exaggeration, dramatization, flowery rhetoric full of lofty metaphors and epithets according to the author’s needs, either in a positive or negative mode, where idealization and devaluation alternate, while the whole thing is strongly emotionally colored… Well, it’s all embarrassingly hysterical, childish, infantile writing off-topic, a reflection from somewhere in the clouds, and yes, it’s completely out of touch with reality!!!
I am in favor of reasonable regulation, as the bears here in Liptov are practically running “over our heads”, there are more and more of them every year, and they are running through our towns in broad daylight, attacking people who will suffer perhaps lifelong trauma (PTSD), as they have recently stated in interviews… ![]()
But these hysterical idealists, like the journalist Mr. Šimečka, are evidently not bothered by this at all, they have no empathy for innocent victims, but for ![]()
![]()
, which, by the way, suffer in their community because they are pushed by larger individuals closer to us humans, they literally have nowhere to go! I love all animals, including bears, but not in a fanatical, sick way, which is considered a pathology even in interpersonal relationships! (But hey, I’m also fanatical in my love for my chihuahua and cats…) And I’m not a voter for the ruling party at all… what the hell does that have to do with anything???
This problem has been very acute for several years, it is not related to the government, nor to whether a piece of the Antarctic glacier broke off yesterday, or that it started raining in Central Park the day before yesterday! Many people, instead of politicizing and pseudo-intellectualizing, should start working on themselves psychologically, working on the health of their consciousness! ![]()

Helicopter case: Part of the media turned into a hoax factory
Direct evidence that TV Markíza editor Martina Töröková intentionally spread a hoax.
The media uncritically adopted information from the criminal element Michal Kiča, who is being investigated by the police for corruption, and from the extremist madman Michal Wiezik.
https://tvnoviny.sk/domace/clanok/889173-filip-kuffa-lietal-vrtulnikom-nad-malou-fatrou-stroj-na-to-nedostal-suhlas
Martina Töröková claims that the helicopter did not have permission to fly and that she has information about this from the Ministry of the Interior. This is clearly a hoax. The Ministry of the Interior has no access to the decisions of the district authorities, so she was deliberately spreading hoaxes again. I have communicated with the Ministry of the Interior many times on the topic of the decisions of the district authorities and they always replied that it is not within their legal authority to have access to the decisions of the district authorities!!!!
Martina Töröková deliberately spread a hoax, and we have clear evidence of this. The hoax was further spread by Aktuality.sk and Denník N.
Although the State Secretary commented on the case on Facebook, Martina Törökova refused to publish his statement. https://www.facebook.com/filipkuffa.sk/videos/819830389957897/
The man who was sitting in the helicopter with the State Secretary spoke.
How do our MEPs from PS lie and deliberately mislead?
1. Flight corridors above 300m above the surface in the NP were and are officially still open.
2. A helicopter flew over the Tiesňavy area to scan the surface for the needs of the cycle path project and further geological survey /prepared project of the VÚC and the municipality of Terchová/
3. Kuffa was not in the machine. At that time, he was in Snilovské sedlo – by cable car.
4. There was no landing at Snilovské sedlo.
5. The helicopter with Kuffa took off vertically in the middle of the Vrátená Valley and the local heliport
6. The presence of a private helicopter was used for a monitoring flight of the bark beetle and the epicenters of the calamity.

Soňa Makká
Soňa Makká is a well-known hoaxer. She writes articles specifically for the target group of people who do not understand the topic of the environment. She exploits the ignorance of the general public.
Soňa Makká deliberately and maliciously spreads hoaxes. You can’t believe a word she says. For example, I pointed out to her that she was spreading a hoax about Olexo, that he is not an expert in nature conservation. In fact, he is an expert because he has a degree in zoology. A zoology education is considered a highly qualified education in nature conservation. And she repeated the hoax again in another article. And dozens of such hoaxes could be listed. In the article, she also quotes Ridzoň, who is a man who got rich from embezzled EU funds – an amazingly trustworthy person.
Dear Ms. Makká. MP Stohlova misspoke in the parliamentary committee, saying that you, along with her, submitted a statement to the district office regarding Kuffa’s helicopter. Could you please clarify what the MP meant? Is there really such intense cooperation between the PS party and Denník N? Shouldn’t the “independent” Denník N be apolitical?
State Secretary Ing. et Ing. Filip Kuffa. Who is he and what is his CV?
Filip Kuffa is clearly the greatest expert in the position of Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment in the history of the Slovak Republic. Some media outlets, such as Denník N, try to portray the State Secretary as an uneducated boor and a lout who wants to destroy nature by spreading propaganda, half-truths, and disinformation. But what is the truth and what are the media hiding?
Filip has graduated from two universities: zoology and forestry at the Technical University of Zvolen, which is known for its high quality and very good reputation.
In fact, he is an expert because he has a degree in zoology. A zoology education is considered a highly qualified education in nature conservation, for example, the relationships and interactions between animals.
Furthermore, he has a degree in forestry, where half of the curriculum is dedicated to forest ecosystems, including plant botany, herbs, and phytocenology. Meadow ecosystems are also an important part of nature conservation. Filip is also a country person, not from the city or a block of flats, so he has a deep emotional connection to nature that city people lack. Another positive is that Filip is not from Bratislava but from eastern Slovakia, which is very advantageous and allows for a positive understanding of the regions – nature conservation is a strongly regional topic that has nothing to do with Bratislava.
Another positive aspect is that Filip is a farmer who raises cattle on permanent grasslands. Grazing meadows is an important part of nature conservation, which he understands not only theoretically but also practically from the perspective of a farmer.
As an opposition MP, Filip was intensively involved in nature protection at the political level. He dealt with corruption cases and the embezzlement of EU funds for nature protection.
For comparison, Budaj’s state secretaries never had anything to do with nature protection. Juraj Smatana, by profession and education, is a history teacher, and Michal Kiča is a lawyer. Despite this, the media praised Budaj as a great minister.
Grazing, grazing of farm animals in the national park. For the first time in history, the ministry’s leadership is genuinely committed to nature conservation.
For the first time in history, we have a government that is truly committed to nature conservation. Budaj and his people only talked about supporting grazing, while the current government is doing so through actions. Grazing by farm animals is part of nature conservation to preserve protected plants and to maintain/increase biodiversity. A significant farmer in protected areas is also the corrupt oligarchic group Bratislava Regional Environmental Association (BROZ), which Budaj managed and which received 80 million in subsidies. But even they did not achieve such success, because they are only interested in business and they stole the money. Moreover, BROZ has no relationship with nature.
My experience with the organizations Transparency International and the Stop Corruption Foundation is very negative.
Yesterday, this ad popped up for me. BROZ may be paying the Stop Corruption Foundation for a political campaign. There are many indications that BROZ may be a sponsor of this foundation. I sent about 100 pages of materials to the foundation about Budaj’s and BROZ’s corruption. Ms. Xénia Makarová replied that they do not want to and will not deal with it. She did not see a reason. I asked again for the reason and she did not answer. After the change of leadership of the ministry, which announces the cleansing of the ministry from corruption, the Foundation spreads inflammatory propaganda about the ministry. If BROZ were a sponsor of the Foundation, it could not look any different. When I sent evidence of Budaj’s enormous corruption to another NGO, Transparency International, employee Zuzana Grochalová even reacted aggressively and told me not to send her anything else, even though the basic subject of the organization’s activity is the fight against corruption. Another NGO paid by BROZ? Zuzana Grochalová even behaved aggressively when I sent her evidence of corruption under Budaj by email. Not only did she not help me with the fight against corruption, but she even attacked me.

Slovak ecoterrorists committed acts of vandalism and intimidation. Robert Gombárik, a victim of the vandalism
An unknown perpetrator broke the window of a prominent forester who is dedicated to fighting corruption in nature conservation, but did not steal his documents, money, or other valuables. This was not the work of a thief. Given the extremely sensitive and psychologically traumatizing situation, I do not want to reveal the forester’s name without his consent. This forester had been drawing attention to the embezzlement of EU funds for sham nature conservation and the misappropriation of public money for dubious projects. He also published strong evidence. The strongest suspicion for this heinous crime of hooliganism and intimidation falls on an unnamed non-governmental organization, which is particularly active in southern Slovakia, as the incident occurred there while the forester was working. I would rather not mention the name of the conservation association to avoid stirring up passions, but you can probably guess. This type of intimidation smacks of mafia practices. I wouldn’t bet my life on it that the official heads of conservation associations are not the ultimate beneficiaries of the embezzled EU funds, but are just the front men for the thick-necked mafia, but I have no evidence for that, I’m just thinking aloud.
… Foresters have long faced hatred from eco-terrorists. A forester from Liptov spoke about eco-terrorists throwing stones at his car because he was saving forests from the spread of the bark beetle, but that happened years ago. The politician Michal Wiezik also spreads enormous hatred against foresters, claiming that foresters harm nature the most by planting trees. The madman Wiezik should be pushed to the absolute margins of society, let alone be a politician.
… The forester also sent me photos of the disturbance. The photo in the video is for illustrative purposes.
The incident occurred in the Galanta district, in the municipality of Trstice, on June 19, 2024.
We could also talk about a hate crime or a crime of revenge.
Who is the victim of the crime, Robert Gombárik?
- Top expert in ecology, agroforestry
- holder of a valuable certificate of a regulated trade, author of the forest care plan, appraiser, which is de facto a scientific activity
- holder of a license for the regulated trade of professional forest manager
- Chairman of the Bratislava Regional Forestry Chamber
- a prominent expert
- long-term experience in forest management in the NAPANT National Park
- expert in nature-friendly forest management
- a person who, with strong expert arguments, questions the ideology of radical ecoterrorists of the extreme left-wing pseudo-ecological movement
- the crime occurred during the mapping and preparation of the forest care plan, which could have potentially crossed BROZ’s business plans
- Criticism of the pseudo-environmental fraudulent corrupt association BROZ, which fraudulently obtained 80 million euros in subsidies. However, 95% of this money was stolen.

Look what I found, Mr. Gombárik. You’ll be shocked by this.
The village of Trstice, where your car windows were broken, is very close to the Klátovské rameno, which is a protected area for which BROZ received subsidies.

So I forwarded to you what I sent to Gombárik.

Stop Oil activists
The Satanic ecoterrorist “mafia”, i.e. climate activists from Just Stop Oil, damaged and stained the archaeological monument of Stonehenge, which was built 5000 years ago.
One of the fathers of the Green Deal, one of the most active MEPs, Slovak politician Michal Wiezik, is as radicalized as these activists, with only a small difference: his extremism manifests itself in a different form: Wiezik claims that foresters harm nature the most by planting trees, which is a sign of a need for psychiatric help. It is very dangerous if such a person has a strong influence in the EU. Recently, a forester who criticized a fake ecological association for corruption, claiming that most of the money from EU funds projects had been stolen, became a victim of vandalism in the village of Trstice. The forester in question travels all over Slovakia as part of his work, but his car windows were smashed and his tires were punctured when he was in the immediate vicinity of a protected area, for which dubious subsidies were taken by fake extremist environmentalists. This is probably not a coincidence. … And in every country, ecological extremism manifests itself in a different form. The essence, however, remains the same.

European Nature Restoration Regulation
Two interesting articles on the topic of nature conservation and Taraba’s approval of the Nature Restoration Regulation.
Farmers are disappointed that the Slovak Republic approved the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on nature restoration at the Council of the European Union. The Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food has already objected to it in the past, for example, with a protest in Strasbourg, during which European farmers, including Slovak ones, expressed their emphatic “no” to the planned changes last July. The Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food assesses the approved regulation as unconceptual and with shortcomings that could have been eliminated by timely communication with farmers.
https://www.sppk.sk/clanok/5286
Taraba unexpectedly voted: EU states approved the nature restoration standard, the regulation passed by a narrow margin https://spravy.pravda.sk/svet/clanok/714037-taraba-necakane-zahlasoval-staty-eu-schvalili-normu-o-obnove-prirody-nariadenie-preslo-len-tesne/
This is a very dangerous “eco-terrorist” trend with great propaganda media support. Farmers have turned arable land into meadows. They were forced to do so by environmentalists from the newly declared PLA (Protected Landscape Area). Are we going to put all arable land in Europe into no-intervention to “save the planet” and import food from Brazil?

Who is Tamara Stohlová, the “ecologist” MP for the Progressive Slovakia party?
Stohlova is the sidekick of the crazy extremist Michal Wiezik. How did Stohlova get into politics? Probably based on her friendly relations with Michal Wiezik. On Stohlova’s video channel, you can find podcasts from three years ago with Michal Wiezik and Erik Baláž. On the one hand, PS presents itself as an “anti-corruption” movement, but Stohlova is the sidekick of the corrupt Wiezik. This is a contradiction. Wiezik illegally obtained subsidies through the Aevis foundation https://www.facebook.com/groups/496402687106268/posts/7468157216597412/
The untrustworthy fake environmental organization BirdLife is flooding social networks with a huge advertising campaign. Who is paying for it?
Look at the paid ad that popped up. Interesting propaganda, information taken out of context. Yesterday it seemed impossible that farmers would receive money even for no-intervention in the fields, today it is a reality. My opinion is that it would be more reasonable to build boundaries / groves in locations where there are none, if we want to be ecological. Farmers complain that voles multiply in these no-intervention zones full of weeds more than a meter high and damage the crops in the surrounding fields.
https://www.facebook.com/ornitologicka/posts/pfbid0d7iSTqzaWzs19H6m8RuZL1Hb1Gw4XGNsTdPC9Q92aCuQtZL4sNWUW3FMP3ehADnYl
The Czech government is already putting the Green Deal into practice. And it is doing so in a senseless and stupid way. Who will pay for the excessive deforestation controls? No one is volunteering.
There are many environmental extremists among Czech journalists as well. Fortunately, there are also reasonable expert articles. The article in question mentions something similar to what Mr. Gombárik said. That in the forests there will slowly be more officials who control than people who work in the forest.

When ecoterrorism kills: an avalanche of a landslide killed two tourists
Why is the non-intervention regime promoted by eco-terrorists a mistake? Why do eco-terrorists protect the bark beetle more than the trees? The network of roots of living trees strengthens the soil. Dead trees do not have this ability. It would have been enough for foresters to be allowed to cut down a few bark beetle-infested trees and the bark beetle would not have spread to an area 100 times larger.
While a living tree has a water retention function, a dead tree has no water retention capacity.
First, Erik Baláž and similar eco-terrorists claimed that nature would deal with the bark beetle on its own. When it didn’t, and their experiment failed, they changed their propaganda and claimed, “Let’s admire those beautiful dry trees, how amazing and important they are for ecology.” We all know how that turned out. Two dead female tourists.

Tatra forester Mr. Staroň on the topic of bloodthirstiness and the contradictions of extremist conservationists
Interesting. A few years ago, in the Demänovská Valley up to the Jánska Valley, about 100 mm of precipitation fell in a very short time, washing away roads and damaging bridges. At that time, Mysmesuchýles and co. had a known culprit: foresters, because blah, blah, blah. Back then, Majko, the then director of TANAP, arrogantly claimed that this couldn’t happen in the High Tatras because even dry wood absorbs water. Today we know what happened in Monkova Valley, where there are many dry trees and nothing to hold the soil, so it all washed away. Unfortunately, 2 tourists died. And lo and behold, the same Majko is now babbling that even if there had been a green forest there, it wouldn’t have prevented the disaster because a lot of rain fell in a short time. So be it, but then how? Then it was one way, and today it’s another, and yet the situation is similar? Or Alzheimer’s? A chameleon? Simply drivel, whatever suits me. And I’m afraid something similar is threatening the Jalovecká Valley; by the way, a certain gentleman received an award from Budaj for saving it. Idiocy in Slovak, but unfortunately, there are already dead people.

Jaromír Šíbl (BROZ) and his opinion on non-intervention
Jaromír Šíbl, a member of the BROZ association, claims that TANAP should be destroyed by non-intervention and that the bark beetle should be protected more than trees. We all know how these experiments turned out. Two women died in Monkova dolina. I consider the BROZ association to be a very dangerous extremist lobbying association, which has huge millions and thus great power, which is mainly manifested in massive eco-terrorist propaganda in the media. The video is from 2021, recorded by the current State Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, then a member of parliament. The video shows an argument between Slivinský and Šíbl on the topic of non-intervention https://www.mojevideo.sk/video/3594a/o_vodozadrznej_funkcii_a_korenovom_systeme_lesa_jan_slivinsky.html
A citizen’s comment on Šíbl: Šíbl is the main architect of the legislative change that transferred state forests in protected areas to the administration of the Ministry of the Environment. The primary goal of this law was not their protection but the possibility to carry out monitoring and experimentation with EU money, for which the EU sent funds and announced calls. When they did not gain power over the Ministry of Agriculture after the elections, they devised this fraud and transferred these forests to the Ministry of the Environment to be able to draw these resources, because the basic condition for drawing funds is the owner’s consent. Neither the SPF nor the MPRVSR wanted to let them conduct these experiments on the territories they managed, so they transferred the forests to themselves under the Ministry of the Environment. Šíbl, as the founder of Broz, already had large resources approved directly from European sources at that time, and so they appointed their lawyer Kica to the Ministry of the Environment, who prepared the papers for the establishment of the Broz civic association when he was a state secretary. And let’s not forget another from the ranks of the lay public who tied himself to trees in Tichá dolina, who was appointed as the second state secretary, Mr. Smatana, the loudmouth.
The work was completed by former minister Mičovský, thanks to whom the amendment to the law was passed.
These people believed that nature would take care of itself, which wouldn’t be a problem, but they also let themselves be paid for it (Sibl certainly). The others are obviously just fools who believed it 😜.
The machinery got so out of hand that the number of state employees at the NP Administration tripled, and at the end of the electoral term, when they had no money to pay them, they sent EU funds for salaries under contracts that sounded grand, for example: “Carbon sequestration in the soil”. https://www.crz.gov.sk/data/att/4357580.pdf
or for example this one https://www.crz.gov.sk/data/att/4197552.pdf
with these items:
Preservation of habitats 530 thousand
Salaries of 300 thousand
Car: 46 thousand
4 collars, software, and an antenna for 35 thousand
booths, saws, fences, photo traps, binoculars and clothing 65 thousand
Really into nature 75 thousand
And let’s not forget about the “forester” Balaz, who evidently avoided the obligation to go and work it off at the Ministry of Environment, but he also did not leave empty-handed:
https://www.crz.gov.sk/zmluva/7578498/

Dutch investigative journalists have uncovered a huge corruption scandal at the EU level.
Dutch investigative journalists have uncovered a huge corruption scandal. These corruption schemes are not only in the Netherlands but throughout the EU. Slovakia is also involved. In Slovakia, specifically the BROZ association. This is a LIFE project called “game on” funded by the European Commission, the aim of which was to influence public opinion on the topic of climate change, climate alarmism and the like. From this project, BROZ ordered a propaganda video from Aktuality.sk called “Difficult week: About a warm planet | News”.
Tamara Stohlova and Michal Kiča are spreading hoaxes about how hunters bait bears with cow hooves and disinformation about how hunters spread foot-and-mouth disease and lumpy skin disease.
On Monday, April 7, 2025, Tamara Stohlova claimed on Radio Slovensko, in the program “Z prvej ruky” (First Hand), that hunters were baiting bears in the Šúr nature reserve. However, local hunters strongly object to this claim. Bears do not occur in Šúr and its surroundings. So these are the “experts” from the Progressive Slovakia party. Stohlova would win the award for the dumbest MP. The cow hooves actually belong to a very close associate of the BROZ association, Mr. Vladimír P., who is in charge of cattle grazing in Šúr. Due to the spread of foot-and-mouth disease, Mr. Vladimír P. is reducing the number of cattle, and that was the reason why cow legs were found in Šúr. Hunters have nothing to do with the carcass remains of cattle. The video that Kiča is so vehemently upset about was obtained from the mentally disabled Marián Hletko, who argued with almost everyone, including several conservationists. I do not recommend voting for the Democrats party because Kiča has achieved nothing but spreading hoaxes. It seems that this is how all the “We are the forest” videos and photos and those of other eco-fascists are created, showing how hunters allegedly bait illegally.

EU corruption affair. Non-profit organizations, including green ones, draw subsidies non-transparently
- Although this is an important topic in the EU itself, the Slovak media mysteriously remain silent as if nothing is happening, because they too are part of the corruption schemes.
- It is shameful that some alternative media are more interested in the topic than investigative newspapers.
- It is also tragicomic that you can find more about this corruption problem on the official EU website than in the Slovak media, when I googled something about it.
- The word non-transparency is a strong euphemism for open corruption and embezzlement.
- A mocking and ridiculing article appeared in Czech Radio, stating that non-transparency is only of interest to the extreme right, which wants to restrict NGOs. It is quite possible that such an article was written by a journalist who is herself involved in these corruption schemes. The journalist’s name is Kateřina Vrbatová.
- Corruption is not only a concern of the extreme right, but also of many centrist politicians, such as Tomáš Zdechovský of the KDU-ČSL party.
- In several articles and videos, I have presented evidence of how EU funds for nature protection, especially the LIFE program, are being embezzled. An important part of these corruption schemes are the media themselves, which support these corruption schemes.
- In the field of nature conservation, 95% of the money for nature conservation is demonstrably and provably stolen. Where does that money end up? A large part of it is certainly used to bribe journalists. The media has more power than politicians.
- Can we then wonder why there is so much ecological extremism in the media? Lobbying in this area.
- I only have indirect evidence for this, but my opinion is that a large part of the media gets a very substantial part of its income from bribes to support green lobbying. The media is not legally obliged to disclose various hidden advertisements; the law does not prohibit any hidden lobbying by the media. When I warned editors-in-chief not to spread various hoaxes in favor of false green lobbying, I never succeeded, no journalist was ever reprimanded, punished, or fired, but the eco-fascist journalist continued to write clearly demonstrable hoaxes.
- Another problem is that I have repeatedly filed complaints with the European Anti-Fraud Office OLAF. Despite demonstrably proven embezzlement and theft, I was mostly told that they would either not deal with it at all, or that they would just archive it for hypothetical future use. Now I understand why they replied to me like that. Corruption was and is supported from the highest levels of the European Commission, e.g. Frans Timmermans, and a subordinate will never investigate a superior. That is logical.
- I also failed to make any progress in the fight against corruption at the police. The former head of NAKA, Ľubomír Daňko, was also part of this corruption scheme and forbade police officers from addressing this topic. Today, corrupt NGOs are not investigated because police officers and prosecutors fear retaliation if the corrupt PS party comes to power. And these are not entirely unfounded fears, and legally educated people who draw information not only from the mass media but also from professional legal journals such as Právne Listy know very well that the revenge could be very harsh.
- Also, the Slovak media are really overdoing it by getting involved in political struggles. They help some political parties extremely and harm others extremely. My hypothesis is that the media may not have a substantial part of their income only from environmental organizations, but also from political-democratic-human rights NGOs. The extreme political division of Slovak society, which was caused by the media, may also be the result of purely self-serving reasons of the media, which look at nothing else but financial profits, which must demonstrate some activity to their sponsors, therefore they label one political party as “democratic” and the other as “undemocratic”. And against the undemocratic one, they declare a very aggressive “holy war” no matter what it does.
Do green NGOs have the right to lobby for our money? There are different opinions in the European Parliament https://www.epochtimes.cz/2025/01/27/maji-zelene-neziskovky-pravo-lobovat-za-nase-penize-v-europarlamentu-panuji-rozdilne-nazory/

“Recent accusations against “green NGOs” of lobbying with European money are gaining further momentum. Audits are already underway, conditions are being adjusted, and the largest recipients are being identified.”
Today is the deadline for submitting all amendments to the funding of NGOs. Then there will probably be a month of negotiations, but relatively intense communication from the EPP is expected, as well as a likely tough media offensive from the green NGOs, which are already lining up.

The BROZ Association and its corruption. Syseľ. 5.5 million euros per square kilometer.
- While the real value of the entire project is approximately 50,000 euros, they received 5.5 million for it. Nowadays, being a commercial conservationist is the best business.
- All the information in this post is taken from the official website of the BROZ association, so there is no unverified information. Specifically, the “Achieved results” section https://broz.sk/projekty/life-sysel/
- Bratislava Airport has a problem with ground squirrels, which cause damage there and need to be removed. The BROZ association came up with a brilliant idea of how to combine the pleasant with the useful. They will catch the ground squirrels at Bratislava Airport and move them to protected areas that are suitable for ground squirrels, and they will also get rich from it.
- The project started in 2020, and today is 2025, so the project is slowly coming to an end, and it is time to evaluate the efficiency of the money spent.
- The BROZ association itself admits that only four people worked on the project, and it is questionable whether all of them worked full-time. Whether it is right to take 5.5 million euros for four employees, everyone can make up their own mind.
- BROZ also publicly admits that the money went to other things besides the protection of the ground squirrel, such as the grazing of farm animals. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but for other EU subsidies, you get into really big trouble if, even with very good intentions, you use the money for work other than what was intended; you get into big trouble and have to return the subsidies. But for the BROZ association, no laws or rules apply. They are bigwigs. They can do anything.
- It is questionable and debatable whether grazing livestock is suitable for ground squirrels, as the vibrations from the livestock’s walking spread to the ground squirrels’ burrows, making them feel disturbed and causing them to flee to areas where grazing does not occur. The BROZ association claims that livestock are fine, and this is their primary goal for the project. The entire project rests on three pillars: mulching, mowing, and grazing. A weak professional side and professional errors are also a common problem for business ecologists. But for this case, let’s pretend that livestock are fine for the ground squirrel.
- For example, anti-corruption activist and experienced nature conservation expert Mr. Robert Gombárik claims that in the case of the BROZ association, grazing often takes place on much smaller areas than officially declared in the project, on too small areas, with too few farm animals. So even where it is written on paper that it is grazed, in reality, most of the area is mowed, and sometimes not even that. I am afraid that the ground squirrel project will be no exception.
- I wouldn’t bet my life on it, but I suspect the BROZ association is committing fraud. Where they officially declare that they have established new pastures or new land for mowing after mulching, that land was already being grazed or mowed by local farmers or an agricultural cooperative before the project even started. You mulch half a hectare and then declare that the project also includes an adjacent 10 hectares of meadows that were already being managed by mowing long before the project. The BROZ association itself expresses itself very vaguely on its website, obscuring whether or not they do this.
- The project mainly involves land management by machine mowing. They provide some advisory services to the local agricultural cooperative on how to mow grasslands in a way that is suitable for ground squirrels, and they already present themselves as hard-working conservationists.
- In Poland, they tried to dedicate only 7 hectares of land, which is completely ridiculous, and they admitted that it was unsuccessful after communicating with a local farmer. So, in Poland, they didn’t do anything at all.
- They even admit that they did nothing in the Czech Republic either. Just some alleged advisory activities for farmers and awareness-raising.
- So this is what BROZ’s manipulative marketing looks like, that it will supposedly be a huge international project. The reality is that it was implemented practically only in Slovakia.
- About half of the work on the project is, of course, marketing and media presentation, propaganda, to manipulate and fool the public about hard-working conservationists. The main thing is to find something that can be presented in front of cameras and photo cameras.
- But what really got me is that BROZ presents on its official website as part of the project that they asked the company Dedoles to produce socks with a ground squirrel motif. Hard-working conservationists from the Bratislava office.
- Another huge scandal is that the four BROZ employees managed to achieve truly incredible miracles. The ground squirrel population of 20,000 increased to 38,000, and they did absolutely nothing. Fictitious numbers from the Bratislava office about the number of ground squirrels at the beginning and end of the project. They certainly didn’t count them in the field. To double the number of ground squirrels per square kilometer to twice the population in the whole of Slovakia? Something doesn’t add up here.
- Similar frauds are planned by environmental organizations with the capercaillie – first they scare the European Commission that the capercaillie is going to become extinct, then they take projects for doing nothing, for administrative declaration of no-intervention areas and monitoring, and then they will falsify numbers as the capercaillie population grows. However, experts point out that no-intervention not only does not help the capercaillie but harms it.
- The people from BROZ seemed to be so lazy that they didn’t even want to move all the caught ground squirrels to protected areas, so they placed a significant portion of them in the ZOO.
- Perhaps thanks to the current anti-corruption leadership of the ministry, the BROZ association was under pressure and had to disclose evidence of embezzled money against its will. If there were corrupt politicians at the ministry, BROZ would not have disclosed anything about the project, or they would have published falsified fictitious activities.
- I handed over all the evidence of this organized corruption crime to the police, but I have no information that the police are working on dismantling this octopus. Today we live in a mediacracy. A system in which the media rules. The media has more power than politicians, police, prosecutors, and courts. Without the support of the media, no big fish has ever been put in jail. But the media is part of this corruption scheme and they themselves receive huge amounts of money from BROZ to keep silent and support their corruption.
- The media has enormous power, and that includes granting impunity to people who should have been in prison for many years for corruption.
- In the past, I thought that investigative journalists were really concerned with fighting corruption and the public interest. However, when I asked journalists for help, I quickly realized that investigative journalism does not exist in Slovakia and what pretends to be investigative journalism is just a tool of political struggle. Journalists conceal all corruption from their favorite politicians and publish all cases and compromising materials about unpopular politicians. I also had disastrous experiences with “anti-corruption” NGOs such as the Stop Corruption Foundation, Transparency International, or the Ján Kuciak Investigative Center. “Anti-corruption” NGOs are not actually concerned with corruption or the public interest at all, but only with political struggles. Not only did these organizations refuse to help me fight corruption, but after arrogant communication with them, I even felt that they were rather supporting these corrupt schemes and were part of them.
- I also had negative experiences with the former head of NAKA, Ľubomír Daňko, whom I asked to dismantle the criminal group involved in corrupt subsidies. Daňko has now moved to the Stop Corruption Foundation. I knew a completely different Ľubomír Daňko than the one we knew from the media. He was no noble fighter against corruption. Based on communication with the police, we have strong indications that the NAKA operational department dealt with corruption for a very short time, and later Daňko completely forbade the police from addressing the issue.
- The most perverse thing is that Igor Matovič is once again pretending to be an “anti-corruption” activist, while during his government these huge embezzlements were taking place, with 98% of the subsidy money being stolen.
- The biggest corruption affair took place between 2020 and 2023, when Jaromír Šíbl, a member and founder of the BROZ corruption group, controlled and manipulated former minister Ján Budaj. During this period, we also witnessed unprecedented arrogance and audacity from MPs who were willing to vote for all of Šíbl’s proposed corrupt amendments to laws, even though I sent an email to all MPs warning them not to vote for it because Šíbl is a member of an organized criminal group and only thinks of his selfish corrupt interests. Until then, corruption always worked in such a way, regardless of the political parties involved, that it only happened at ministries, and MPs never voted for an openly corrupt law.
- I also alerted the media to Šíbl, but of course, nothing appeared in the media.
- And just so we don’t forget, the most important actors in the aforementioned corruption schemes, Jaromír Šíbl, Michal Kiča, and Ján Budaj, are members of the Democrats party. Michal Kiča is even one of the most active members of the Democrats party. We live in a totally twisted world where the media presents the Democrats party as an “anti-corruption” party.
- Where did the money go if it certainly didn’t go to nature protection? Primarily to bribing the media, to corrupt political parties such as PS and Democrats, bribes for employees of the Ministry of the Environment and the State Nature Protection, bribes for anti-corruption NGOs to keep silent.
- And just as a matter of interest, when Eduard Heger was Prime Minister, I politely asked him to stop the corruption of BROZ on the Government Office’s Facebook page. But I was blocked. Before the 2020 elections, Eduard Heger, together with Matovič, promised to fight corruption during the pre-election campaign. After he came to power, it seems that he rather supported corruption, not fought against it. He spat in the voters’ faces.
The BROZ association receives subsidies from the European Commission even during Taraba’s ministerial term. However, this is without the support and co-financing of the ministry.
It seems that Minister Tomáš Taraba and Secretary Filip Kuffa are not taking the fight against corruption very seriously. Even under their government, BROZ approved at least one dubious LIFE program project called LIFE Resistance, worth 6.5 million. The project is scheduled to start in June 2024. The marketing name of the project is: “Comprehensive restoration of Danube floodplain habitats and support for their resilience to invasive plant species”. What is the reason why even the current leadership of the ministry does not want to remove corrupt schemes? Minister Taraba has already shown at least once that it is a greater priority for him to be considered “nice” in Brussels than the public interest. In July 2024, Taraba voted for a part of the Green Deal, which farmers rebelled against, even though, for example, the Netherlands and the Austrian government were against it. Brussels itself, however, faces criticism that there is corruption in green LIFE projects, as Dutch investigative journalists wrote, and this was also discussed in the European Parliament. LIFE program subsidies worked in such a way that they were largely financed by the European Commission and to a lesser extent by the Ministry of Environment. Hypothetically, BROZ could have obtained the project even without co-financing from the Ministry of Environment if they had obtained the co-financing money from somewhere other than the Ministry of Environment. However, I am not sure; I rather have the feeling that not much has changed since Budaj.
The BROZ association can blackmail the current government by arranging a false accusation against Slovakia in Brussels, a so-called infringement, that the government “does not protect” nature, unless their projects are approved. Another reason why Taraba decided to give in to BROZ is media attacks. The media are direct participants in these corrupt schemes, and aggressive media attacks will cease as long as the corrupt schemes continue to flow smoothly. We see that media attacks have indeed significantly weakened compared to what they were at the beginning of the mandate. Even the BROZ association itself does not go around complaining to the media that they are not receiving subsidies, they have nothing to complain about, and they can be satisfied. The corrupt schemes continue to run smoothly, not much has changed since Budaj’s time. If it is otherwise than I believe, I will be grateful if Secretary Kuffa comments. At first, they were serious about fighting corruption, allegedly the police came to the ministry on a daily basis after criminal complaints when Taraba and Kuffa started at the ministry. Later, however, something happened, it’s probably not like that anymore.

Update: additional information on the statement of State Secretary Filip Kuffa
The BROZ organized crime group receives subsidies even under the current government, but without the support of the Ministry of Environment – there is no co-financing of projects from the Ministry of Environment’s resources, as it was under Budaj (this is what the current State Secretary explained to me when I asked him about it, and it can be verified in the Central Register of Contracts). LIFE subsidy schemes have the specific characteristic that they are approved directly by European Commission staff and can be processed without the involvement of the ministry. However, co-financing is mandatory, and they have to find resources elsewhere – they probably solve this with some accounting fraud.
Other related topics:
In my opinion, former State Secretary Michal Kiča committed a breach of duty in the administration of third-party property when he arranged co-financing for such fraudulent, thieving projects for BROZ.
In the past, Mr. Robert Gombárik, a prominent expert on forest ecosystems, publicly criticized the BROZ association for corruption. However, he stopped publicly criticizing them after the BROZ association intimidated him. They punctured his tires and broke the windows of his car in the village of Trstice. There is also a record of this at the local police station.

The head of BROZ, millionaire Tomáš Kušík, and his kingdom in Veľký Lél
The richest business ecologist, Eurofund bigwig, millionaire BROZ boss Tomáš Kušík has his permanent residence listed at the address of the Veľký Lel 819 buffet/pub. Permanent residence is the address that is always stated on the ID card. The law allows one to have a permanent residence in a non-residential building or at a company address. The cunning speculator Mr. Tomáš Kušík took advantage of this possibility. If you are in Veľký Lel and you are very lucky, you might meet Mr. Kušík there somewhere. Perhaps he will explain to you how Eurofunds are professionally embezzled for fictitious nature protection, as the efficiency of the use of funds in his projects is demonstrably and provably a maximum of 2%, and the other 98% of the money goes to an unknown destination.
The BROZ association advertises this pub on its website – it is part of the promotion of their projects (cattle grazing, projects on the Danube Island).
Hunting Association, Šúr area vs. conflict between Marián Hletko and Ján Jenčo
The Office for Personal Data Protection fined the Environmental Inspectorate and the Ministry of the Environment. This concerned a TV report by the Environmental Inspectorate against a hunting association in the Šúr National Nature Reserve. It concerned the antics of the Environmental Inspectorate during Budaj’s tenure and during the period when the corrupt association BROZ took full control of the inspectorate. At that time, the inspectorate was headed by Ján Jenčo, a member of BROZ. The Office for Personal Data Protection found several violations of the law. The illegal publication of the faces of hunters for which the legal conditions were not met. Disregard for the presumption of innocence during an ongoing investigation of an offense/administrative procedure. The biggest provocateur among eco-activists, Marián Hletko, was also involved in the whole affair. He made videos with the faces of hunters – the publication of these Hletko’s videos by himself was deemed illegal by the Office for Personal Data Protection. Ján Jenčo committed the criminal offense of abuse of power by a public official by further disseminating and publishing Hletko’s videos.
The PS party is spreading disinformation about incinerators
The eco-fascists from the PS party have achieved nothing but spreading hoaxes. And not only on the topic of incinerators but also on other topics of ecology and nature protection. Bears, national parks, and the like.

The European Taxpayers’ Association (TAE) files a criminal complaint against the father of the Green Deal
(Updated 2.8.2025)
A criminal complaint has been filed against the eco-fascist criminal Frans Timmermans, who was the Vice-President of the European Commission for 10 years, for illegal “ecological” lobbying. At least 7 billion euros from the LIFE grant program went to support the Green Deal and extremist ecological ideology. The Slovak environmental association BROZ is also involved in this criminal LIFE grant scheme, having received around 70 million euros from illegal EU grants. Aggressive eco-fascist lobbying in the Slovak media is no coincidence. The media is saturated with disinformation in the field of ecology and nature protection. We can observe aggressive attacks on any politician who claims that non-intervention and dead forests devoured by bark beetles are not the only form of nature protection. And why do the media give so much space to various “ecological” activists who lobby for overpopulated bears and spread disinformation on this topic? This is no coincidence, because money is behind it. And even the BROZ association itself publicly admits on its website that media lobbying is among its most important activities. It is demonstrably and provably true that only about 1% of the grants for the BROZ association go to nature protection, and the rest goes to media lobbying.
