The current political situation and media manipulation about it. The corruption case of Michal Šimečka

We live in a very difficult time when people and the population have never been as stupid as they are today. People have never been manipulated as easily as they can be manipulated today. And that's by the media, whether
alternative or mainstream .
Human stupidity knows no bounds, and human stupidity is endless. The media, in fact, is increasingly making primitive and stupid propaganda . And yet, many people still do not understand that the media is lying to them .
As a lecturer in critical thinking and a person who sees into the behind-the-scenes media and political games that the average, ordinary person has never even dreamed of, I will now analyze the latest outputs, this time mainly from the mainstream media.
What the media can generally create are so-called egregors . These egregors can very effectively and efficiently control and manipulate people . Also, the media, whether alternative or mainstream, can strongly ignite and whip up your passions . And this is often based on half-truths or propaganda .
The truth is very hard to hear .
I am a person who is very critical of both alternative and mainstream media . Logically, you then anger the fans of alternative media, but also people who are on the side of mainstream media.
The truth is unpopular and hard to hear. Perhaps what is least popular is the truth.
It is, of course, a false illusion that if a person is on the side of alternative or mainstream media, that this is the good or true direction . The truth is neither – both are the Matrix . Both are evil, both divide society and pit people against each other .

Manipulation methods and cases

The basic method of media manipulation is to get too involved in political struggles . While they try to harm politicians from one ideological camp as much as possible and do propaganda against them , they have no problem censoring all the corrupt affairs of other politicians, as I have also had the opportunity to see. For example, Igor Matovič would certainly not even get into parliament if all his corrupt affairs were made public. As an absolutely apolitical activist, I have had the opportunity to find out from my own experience that the media had no problem censoring the absolutely insane corruption of Matovič's ministers, which did not even happen under the Smer party, without batting an eyelid .
A prime example of media manipulation was the so-called Matovič's purge , or the so-called police officers, the Čurillovci . The media actually spread what was probably the most successful hoax in the history of Slovakia, that in the PPA (Agricultural Payment Agency) case, nothing is being done, only stealing. In the end, the Čurillovci investigated it and found nothing . The biggest fish that the Čurillovci arrested and imprisoned was Norbert Bödör , who had never even done business in the agricultural sector. So, when the media created such a narrative that there was stealing, we all expected that the Čurillovci police would somehow collectively arrest those big agro-barons and agricultural oligarchs . And lo and behold, nothing happened ! They only arrested some Norbert Bödör. All charges against him were dropped, and the whole case actually came to nothing (went to waste) . Despite this, the media had previously spread very passionate propaganda that divided society but was not based on truth .

Car accident and the double standard of the media

The case of Pavol Gašpar's car accident served only to distract the media – to distract attention from the incompetence of the current opposition .
One example of media manipulation in recent times was Pavol Gašpar's car accident . It is remarkable how much attention the media paid to such an insignificant event. The media also drew conclusions before the results of the car accident investigation were known. It is truly unbelievable that the media can literally make something out of nothing , turning some insignificant event into de facto the biggest case in the world . Yet, it would have been enough to write just a one-time article about the car accident. The media had nothing left to find against the Smer party, so they had to fuel some narrative . They fueled this affair for weeks .
In contrast, we see a double standard in the media regarding the car accident of the MEP for Progressive Slovakia, Martin Hojsík . There, I see a really serious moral transgression on all possible levels, but the media paid practically no attention to it. Only some selected media, which are really a minority and which are at least somewhat objective, mentioned it very briefly.
Martin Hojsík's first moral transgression is that despite presenting himself as the toughest eco-fascist, the biggest eco-fanatic, the savior of the planet , and a person who voted in the European Parliament to ban combustion cars , he still uses a combustion car . Yet, with his MEP salary, he should have enough money to buy an electric car. We witnessed a complete absence of media criticism of this hypocrite who preaches water and drinks wine . To make matters worse, the car didn't even have an emissions test . So, the self-proclaimed climate savior, Martin Hojsík , did not have a valid emissions test on his combustion car. However, journalists did not chase Martin Hojsík with microphones , nor did they question him about his hypocrisy .

Diploma Theses

Furthermore, the media analyzed Pavol Gašpar's thesis . I cannot judge whether that person's thesis is in order, because it has happened many times that the media spread hoaxes . Such information would need to be independently verified . But even if we were to take into account that his thesis is not in order, it would be appropriate if the media applied the same standard to the Progressive Slovakia party . I am personally convinced that if they were to scrutinize the theses of individual politicians from the Progressive Slovakia party, two-thirds or three-quarters of those MPs would not have their theses in order. Not to mention that theses in law or theses at the Faculty of Law are very difficult to write. They are some of the most difficult theses, so probably few lawyers have their theses in order.

Consolidation

The current government is taking very unpopular measures , which is the consolidation of public finances . On the one hand, people are grumbling , but on the other hand, they naively believe that the current opposition would be able to do it better. The truth is that they would not be able to do it better.
It's bad, but it could still be worse .
The opposition is now in a very simple position , because criticizing from the opposition is very easy and it has a very nice effect on voters. However, if these showmen really came to power , there is not the slightest assumption that they would be able to do it better.
The only positive thing about the Progressive Slovakia party coming to power is that the interest on government bonds would be lower . This means that banks would be willing to buy bonds at lower interest rates. But this is purely for unfair political reasons , because banks have more power than the state when it comes to money and can even blackmail it. If we assume that top bank managers only read Denník N , they logically have a reason to blackmail the government and force it into unpopular, austerity and consolidation measures.
Few people know what the banking sector looks like. Banks have a special power in the law that they can print an unlimited amount of money . At the same time, they can buy government bonds from these printed money and then make a profit from the interest . So for banks, it is a perpetuum mobile for money. If the Progressive Slovakia party came to power, this government would not need to save much because the interest on bonds would be low.

Bribing journalists

How can politicians bribe journalists? One way a politician can give a bribe to a journalist is through very strong support for the non-governmental sector . Through the non-governmental sector, money can easily reach the media. Bribes for journalists can be camouflaged under the guise of supporting investigative journalism or under the guise of supporting democracy . In reality, however, the money will go to the political struggle between political parties.
Based on this, politicians can bribe journalists . It is highly probable that there are already some agreements between the Progressive Slovakia party and journalists, editors-in-chief, and media owners. The agreement is that if Progressive Slovakia comes to power, subsidies for the non-governmental sector will become very strong , and the sector will gladly pass them on to journalists. In this way, the Progressive Slovakia party will have absolute protection and certainty that no corruption scandal will be published in the media . As a result, voters will feel that this political party is not so bad. After all, they haven't had that many corruption scandals . Subsidies for the non-governmental sector can be provided by the state or a ministry either through EU funds or directly through the state budget . The media has more power than the police and the courts . If the media does not uncover a corruption scandal, the police will not deal with it either.

PS Extremism

The Progressive Slovakia party is in an absolutely desperate state . It is no alternative to the current government . This political party has been taken over by the most extremist feminists and the most extremist environmentalists . All moderate environmentalists and feminists have been thrown out of the party, and all decent people are leaving the party . Even a decent person will say: "Why should I work in this political party when I can't achieve anything good in it, when the only thing that interests this party is extremism in feminism , extremism in ecology , and extremism of hatred against Robert Fico?" That's absolutely all. It is a depleted, empty party that has absolutely nothing to offer , has no experts, no vision, but human stupidity knows no bounds , and people will continue to vote for it.

Election manipulation

Manipulation of the 2023 parliamentary elections in favor of the Progressive Slovakia party. It is very likely that the 2023 elections were rigged because people abroad voted for Progressive Slovakia in an incredible 61 % of the votes . This is simply unbelievable.
While domestic elections or elections at the city and municipal level are practically impossible to rig , elections from abroad can be rigged very easily . This concerns votes cast at Slovak embassies in foreign countries. These ballots have to travel many kilometers to Slovakia . During the transport of these ballots, it is very easy to manipulate them, or they can be manipulated directly at the embassy , and it is not complicated at all.
It is particularly suspicious that in Bratislava itself, Progressive Slovakia had the most votes , but abroad it had twice as many votes , which no sociologist has explained . Why is that? It cannot be logically explained in any way . I have a very clear opinion on this, that electoral fraud certainly occurred . Votes from abroad had a very strong influence on the final election result . If it were not for the falsified foreign votes, Progressive Slovakia would have about 13 % of the votes in parliament today.

The Šimečka and Bárdy case

Corruption affair of the Progressive Slovakia party: The case of Michal Šimečka and Marta Šimečková . One of the most successful manipulative media operations in the history of Slovakia was the fact that during the period when Michal Šimečka was dismissed from the post of Vice-Chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic , serious corruption affairs of his family were revealed. Instead of condemning his corruption, the media made him a martyr, a sufferer, and a tormentor , which is truly absurd . Also during this period, the media completely censored a very important press conference of the Minister of Justice , where the minister described in detail what the corruption schemes consisted of. I consider censoring such important information to be absolutely absurd . It is a crying malice and manipulation on the part of the media .
Later , the Prime Minister himself reported on corruption, and the media could no longer censor it. It is no longer possible to censor the words of the highest-ranking person in the state, the Prime Minister himself . I learned about the Michal Šimečka case in a rather strange way – from the media. I saw absolutely insane and hysterical articles , hysterical headlines in Denník N and the weekly Týždeň , with insane paranoia about Robert Fico. I thought to myself, what is actually happening, I have to watch that press conference. And then I learned more from the press conference.
The media once again resorted to very unethical manipulative practices when they completely refused to inform what was actually discussed at the press conference. On the one hand, it is true that the Smer party is trying to divert attention from unpopular consolidation measures . But on the other hand, everything that was said at that press conference was 100% true . Michal Šimečka at the subsequent press conference could not explain absolutely anything . I only saw a frightened and desperate man who talked about everything possible at the press conference, except for the corruption scandal and the thefts of his mother . Furthermore, we also saw Marta Šimečková's reaction on Facebook , and she again explained absolutely nothing . When we look at the opinions of both camps, it is absolutely clear who is right.
The most influential editor-in-chief, Peter Bárdy , also reacted to Smer's press conference, and he could do nothing but write that Robert Fico is a dirty pig or a dirty sow . Otherwise, he said nothing meaningful, nor any meaningful argument. It is unbelievable that human stupidity knows no bounds . Despite such a scandal by Michal Šimečka, people will continue to vote for Progressive Slovakia, and despite such a scandal by the media, people will continue to believe the media . I consider this absolutely absurd . Human stupidity knows no bounds.
The media further diverted attention from Šimečka's affair by giving far too much space to the statement of the absolutely irrelevant prosecutor Maroš Žilinka , who had absolutely nothing to do with it.
It is certainly in the public interest for the public to know about Šimečka's affair, because parents are role models for their children . When a child sees that a parent steals, lies, and cheats , how can we be sure that Michal Šimečka will not do the same when he gets to the trough? When he gets to big money and big politics , he will steal hundreds of millions of euros . So far, it was hundreds of thousands of euros that his parents stole, but when he is in power, he will steal on a large scale .
Free media and free NGOs do not exist in Slovakia.
In a healthy society with free media, it should not be the Smer party that uncovers Šimečka's corruption, but investigative journalists or anti-corruption NGOs. The role of journalists is to apply the same standards to all political parties, but in practice, only unfree journalistic prostitutes operate, serving as propaganda for the PS party. There is no such thing as free journalism and free media in Slovakia. It is a total disgrace that the work of investigative journalists has to be replaced by the Smer party.
It is also a great mystery why investigative journalists and anti-corruption organizations such as Stop Corruption do not address corruption under the Matovič and Heger governments, so that we know who benefited most from the COVID crisis. If they revealed the truth, Matovič and the Democrats party would certainly never get into parliament again. However, journalists and NGO organizations are obsessed with government parties.
The fact that the media is doing more and more primitive and stupid propaganda in favor of the PS party is also proven by the statement of one of the most ardent fighters against the SMER party, Martin Hanus. When even Martin Hanus is outraged that the media is too strongly biased against the Smer party and too much in favor of the PS party, that's saying something. Just yesterday, Hanus made Šimečka out to be a wronged martyr because of corruption scandals, today he has already admitted serious corruption in the PS party. Hanus reproaches journalists for not having any critical questions for Šimečka and that the case existed in the media for only one day (although even minor scandals of the SMER party are able to feed the media for weeks and they dedicate a large number of articles to them).

Zora Jaurová

Zora Jaurová , who pretends to be some kind of shadow minister of culture , was also an important part of the affair. I personally do not consider Zora Jaurová to be an expert . The most she is an expert at is stealing money . She is certainly not an alternative to the current Minister of Culture. The only thing Zora Jaurová has achieved in her life is that she accepted a bribe from Marta Šimečková .

Jaroslav Spišiak

Jaroslav Spišiak is an important accomplice of the bloodiest mafia, the Šátorovci . While Matovič's political police, the so-called Čurillovci , could not find any corruption against Robert Fico or Robert Kaliňák and were prosecuted only for a press conference, if Progresívne Slovensko came to power, Slovakia would truly become, in the true sense of the word, a mafia state . A leading representative of the PS party, Jaroslav Spišiak , was a very important accomplice , if not a direct member of the Šátorovci mafia . Investigative journalist Ivan Mego deals with this topic in more detail.
In Slovakia , there is no such thing as free media . Ivan Mego was fired from Startitup after he did free journalism and interviewed Jaroslav Spišiak, where he asked him about how he covered up the Šátor mafia . All honest journalists have been fired from the newsrooms and only prostitutes remain, who will censor everything negative about the PS party for money and will promote this political party as if it were the best political party.
As an expert in non-verbal communication , I can confirm that Ivan Mego is absolutely right . If Jaroslav Spišiak were on a lie detector , the detector would have beeped throughout the entire interview – it would have beeped constantly . During the interview, Jaroslav Spišiak's enormous nervousness was evident. Even a person who is not an expert in non-verbal communication must have noticed how nervously he was squeezing the cushion between his legs , which is clear evidence of enormous nervousness and proof that this man does not have a clear conscience .
There is a strange contrast here: while the Smer party was wrongly accused of being a mafia , and none of it was confirmed, we can literally say that the Progressive Slovakia party is a mafia – Progressive Slovakia is a mafia . And unfortunately, that is true. As long as Jaroslav Spišiak is a member of this party, Progressive Slovakia will be a mafia . And it is not an exaggeration to say so.

Slovakia's Indebtedness

In connection with the consolidation of public finances , it is very often mentioned which governments have indebted Slovakia more . This is probably the most popular media disinformation , that whenever there was a Smer government , it indebted more, and conversely, when Mikuláš Dzurinda was in power, and when there were so-called right-wing governments , it indebted much less.
The fact is that the real numbers and graphs that you can google say something else . Slovakia was most indebted by the Matovič government, followed immediately by the Radičová government. There is no need to believe various disinformation, which you can learn, for example, from Ivan Mikloš , who claims how good Dzurinda's governments were. It is true that under Dzurinda, the debt was kept relatively under control . However, under Radičová's government, Ivan Mikloš was also a minister, and it turned out disastrously . The only year when Fico's government indebted Slovakia more was 2009 , but there was a financial crisis then, which must be taken into account, and even that was not very dramatic.
Also, representatives of the Office for Budget Responsibility , who are de facto politicians , political nominees appointed by opposition political parties, deliberately spread hoaxes about the austerity right-wing governments and the wasteful Smer, while this is not based on the truth .
