Myth: The West and NATO are aggressors who provoke and encircle Russia.
Now I will focus on the basic element of Russian propaganda, that the evil West and NATO are enemies and aggressors who surround and provoke Russia. It is one of the biggest myths that Putin's supporters believe. It is not true.
I don't know who the provocateur is when Putin was threatening with nuclear weapons before the elections. Or the Russian media, which are under 100% control of the Kremlin, talk about nothing but hatred towards the West. People in Russia are fed through television from morning to night that the West is an enemy that must be hated. Furthermore, there are many very provocative statements by leading Russian politicians, where they provoke the West with their hostile statements. (Just as a small example, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister wishes for bad relations with the West). The Russian side is the one that declared the West an enemy, not the other way around. Hats off to Western politicians who, despite Russia's provocations, are very restrained.
Economic sanctions
The Kremlin's disinformation websites arrogantly reproach the West for sanctioning the West. It is truly tragicomic. How can we expect the West to lift sanctions when Western politicians have to tolerate disgusting, aggressive, hateful propaganda against the West in state-controlled Russian media and have to tolerate hateful statements by leading Russian politicians? Have the disinformation websites gone completely mad?
In conclusion: arguing that the West is a provocateur that is militarily encircling Russia is nonsense. The provocateur is the other side.

This propaganda is mainly cultivated in Russia. What is its significance? The psychology of propaganda
This is a very effective tool of manipulation. Your harsh dictatorial political system is full of corruption and embezzlement, people live in misery and poverty. People are justifiably dissatisfied and angry with the political system when they live in poverty and misery. Sanctions make any positive outlook for improving the economic situation impossible. But you can come up with effective propaganda that will tame people so they don't protest. You will spread fear of Russia being surrounded by NATO. When people are filled with fear, they can be easily manipulated. Fear easily unites and consolidates people, people stop "making things up", and their desire to protest quickly passes.
We are full of fear and confusion, who will protect us? Well, our beloved president, who is a symbol of stability. Putin is our good caring father, the beloved tsar who will protect us from the evil West. Isn't it nice to believe in such propaganda? It has a lot in common with the psychology of religion. Religion also has its demon and its savior. Putin acts as the savior "Jesus", who will protect us from all evil, Satan (=the West). Political propaganda becomes a substitute for religion for many people.
Is your economy going down the drain, but you want to stay in power at all costs? Simple solution: Blame the West for all the failures in the country. In propaganda, you will fill people with hatred towards the West and thus maintain your popularity. And this is what Putin does.
The element of combativeness. The passions of combativeness distract attention from essential things.
The Kremlin's propaganda fills people with emotions. Emotions of hatred. By being filled with the fight against the enemy, people have a strong fighting mood. They fight in their minds. People are full of passions. Fighting passions. And when you are full of fighting passions, you even forget that you have nothing to pay the rent with, or that you have no money to buy bread. After all, I am first and foremost a fighter for my homeland!!!, only then, in the second place, am I bothered by the fact that I have nothing to pay the rent with.
Manipulating people through emotions
Propaganda aimed at emotions is very effective. People are so full of passion and emotion that facts and rational arguments no longer make any sense. Discussing with people who have had their brains washed by Slovak disinformation websites is pointless. They are not interested in facts. They are only clear on one thing: anyone who tries to argue against the Kremlin's propaganda is an enemy and evil, and we must hate them with all the strength of our minds. We see this problem in Slovakia, and in Russia, this factor will be even stronger.
The element of the egregore. Moving the egregore of propaganda from Russia to Slovakia
Full control of the media in Russia has created strong propaganda, a strong egregore. However, the egregore has no language barrier. The success of the Kremlin's propaganda in Slovakia is significantly strengthened by the fact that a strong propaganda egregore had already been created in Russia long before. Connecting with the Russian propaganda egregore and uniting it with the Slovak-language egregore is not a problem when we have many collaborators, lackeys, and useful idiots of the Kremlin in Slovakia. The Russian egregore will supply a lot of energy to the Slovak egregore. This is precisely one of the reasons why the propaganda of "Russia's encirclement and the evil West" has taken hold so easily in Slovakia.
We Slovaks are shitting in our own nest. We're sucking up to the Kremlin, which has declared us an enemy.

People do not follow Russian media and have not realized what absurdities they have believed. Russian propaganda spreads hatred towards the West as a whole. However, few realize the very serious fact that we, Slovakia, from the perspective of Russia and Russian propaganda, are part of the West – part of the depraved, corrupt, homosexual West. I have contacts with some Ukrainians, and they clearly consider Slovakia to be the West – so how much more so the Russians.
We Slovaks, a stupid nation, have made Putin our savior, but we have not realized that the Kremlin has declared us an enemy, which it despises.
