On the issue of achieving peace in Ukraine. The absurdities of pro-Kremlin propaganda

The article is about peace talks between separatists and Ukraine.

First of all, it is important that the war ends. This is more important than political goals. A person manipulated by pro-Kremlin propaganda is so zealous that it is more important and preferable for them to be loyal to pro-Kremlin propaganda than to have peace. Ideological passions have flared up not only on the battlefield but also in Slovakia, where there is no fighting. How to achieve peace? In this matter, pro-Kremlin propaganda has several flaws. Russian propaganda and alternative media say the following: "the butcher Poroshenko should end the war, he is responsible for that war"

Counterarguments against this propaganda:
– The war was started by separatists, not Poroshenko. It would be appropriate for the one who started and caused the war to end it, and that was the separatists, not Poroshenko.
-The Ukrainian conflict can be figuratively compared to the following hypothetical conflict: One day, the German government decides to militarily invade one-third of Austria's territory through secret soldiers who will pretend to be separatists and with the help of friendly partisans. These soldiers will occupy all local administrative buildings, offices, courts, secret service branches, and police branches. They will not pretend to be directly organized by the German government; they will pretend to be German volunteers. Of course, this situation will lead to war, and the Austrian army will deploy its forces. Discussions will begin about who caused the war and how to achieve peace. The logic of pro-Russian propaganda in this situation would be that we would have to talk about the Austrian Prime Minister or President as the aggressor and butcher who caused the entire war and that he is responsible for it. We would demand that the Austrian government surrender and lay down its arms, and that the pro-German separatists keep their self-proclaimed republic.

It is really sad how people can be blinded and manipulated by propaganda, that they can believe such illogical stupidity and absolute absurdity. If we compare it with this German-Austrian conflict, we realize what an illogical stupidity it is for that "butcher" Poroshenko to lay down his arms and voluntarily leave the occupied territories to the separatists.
This is as absurd as the Slovak army occupying Moravia through some separatists, and we would still want the Czech government to be the one to lay down its arms!!! And the main thing is that alternative media so love to compare the butcher Poroshenko to the second Hitler!!

Propaganda No. 2: "Separatists have the right to violate the territorial sovereignty of Ukraine because they protect the pro-Russian civilian population from Banderites."
Counterarguments:
-Of course, there is some truth to this. The Banderites are not angels. However, pro-Russian propaganda can inflate and exaggerate the threat of the Banderites many times over. The separatists use the exaggerated threat of the Banderites to justify the war they started. Otherwise, they would have no argument that the war they started would have any meaning at all. What else is left for them? At least they justify their crimes of the war they started by exaggerating the threat of the Banderites. -It is highly probable that the separatists provoke the Ukrainian army and the Banderites in such a way as to murder as many civilians as possible. Perhaps from time to time they even deliberately allow and leave a free path for them to attack some village. And then the self-proclaimed republics have their mouths full of arguments and evidence of how the Banderites and the Ukrainian army are murdering civilians (by the way, to imagine the separatists as the good moral people is a big mistake. Even Mr. Čalovka said that the leadership of the self-proclaimed republics had several separatists executed because of their immoral behavior in the war). -If the separatists had not started the war, then no Banderites would be operating in eastern Ukraine. The existence of the separatists attracts the Banderites more and more every day. War passions are escalating. -The existence of the civil war, which the separatists started, in itself brings civilian casualties. If the separatists had not started the war, there would be no need to "protect" the civilian population in the southeast of Ukraine.

Propaganda No. 3: "The Ukrainian government has banned the use of Russian as an official language." Alexander Duleba said in a broadcast on Slobodný vysielač that this is not true. The Ukrainian government only repealed some of Yanukovych's laws, which determined certain "super-rights" for the Russian minority (apparently it was about enshrining the equality of Ukrainian and Russian in the laws). Russian still remains an official language and teaching in Russian is allowed in schools. The crimes of the separatists and the war they caused cannot be justified by language discrimination.

Separatists want war, not peace. Evidence: The separatists' unwillingness to accept peace may also be due to the fact that they are winning the war. They want to complete their successful adventure to the end. Ideology is more important to them than stopping the massacre and bloodshed, suffering, and destruction of infrastructure. These are the amazing separatists that the pro-Russian alternative media so strongly defends.

I'll digress a bit: By the way, Putin is not very interested in peace either. The negotiations in Minsk were not convened or proposed by Putin, but by someone else: it started when Merkel and Hollande (risking US favor) came to Moscow and asked Putin for such peace negotiations.

There is a lot of disinformation and propaganda from alternative media that Putin is the amazing one who cares so much about peace and the politicians of Western Europe are the ones who support the conflict in Ukraine in every possible way. Hollande and Merkel are proof that the truth is the opposite of what pro-Russian propaganda says.

The following information appeared in the press release on the conclusion of the Minsk negotiations, source http://www.teraz.sk/zahranicie/merkelova-putin-separatisti-dohoda/120074-clanok.html

We will write short comments on the cited information: "According to her, the Russian president is to be credited for the pro-Russian separatists signing the agreement in Minsk, as he convinced them to agree to a ceasefire." This inconspicuous sentence suggests that Putin literally involuntarily and forcibly compelled the separatists to sign the agreement. Thus, there is not the slightest effort on the part of the separatists to build peace. "The document was signed only by members of the contact group for resolving the crisis in eastern Ukraine." "The leader of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Alexander Zakharchenko, according to TASS, stated after signing the agreement that some of its points require additional discussion and approval." This means that the leadership of the self-proclaimed republics may have a completely different opinion than the wording of the Minsk Peace Agreement. Again, the information suggests that the self-proclaimed republics do not want peace but war.
************
There is also the following disinformation from pro-Russian propaganda: "The separatists' demand is only a certain degree of autonomy, and if Kyiv gave it to them, then there would be peace." The separatists, without mincing words, said that they were not interested in any autonomy but essentially in complete independence. And here we have evidence from a press release: Among the separatists' demands is this utter absurdity: "The joint proposal of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) envisages the creation of people's militia units subordinate to local executive bodies." Source: http://www.teraz.sk/zahranicie/porosenko-a-kerry-koordinovali-kroky-na-/134692-clanok.html

The term militias should be understood as separatists and the army. In the history of the whole world, you will find very few autonomous republics with their own army. And on this whole earth, you will not find a single autonomous republic with an army that would not be subordinate to the central government. The peace demands of the separatists are absolutely insane. They do not want autonomy, but complete sovereignty and independence. Moreover, we know from history that demilitarization always takes place after the end of the war. However, the separatists want the exact opposite, to build an army only after the end of the war.
In conclusion: The Russian government has no great interest in peace, and the leadership of the self-proclaimed republics has none at all. The propaganda of pro-Russian and alternative media is clearly based on lies.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Huďo and Lichtner left Slobodný vysielač, that they themselves realized that the pro-Russian propaganda they were promoting had reached a dead end, they realized that they themselves had fallen for it. It is important to think a lot and use your reason. Not just to be fanatically fired up for some ideology.

I would definitely be afraid to present such views in the studio of Slobodný vysielač. I would only get disgusting attacks, insults, and phone calls full of mindless hatred. The listeners wouldn't say anything nicer to me than "CIA agent." The moderators have manipulated the listeners so much, they've brainwashed them so much, that they no longer know how to think and use reason. Fanatical devotion to pro-Russian ideology is more important to the listeners than truth and the use of reason.

I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the Slobodný vysielač presenters, because they must have a very heavy conscience. They have literally turned people into psychological wrecks, literally manipulated them and brainwashed them, who will hate any opinion that does not fit into Russian propaganda. The presenters have turned listeners into psychological wrecks without reason, who have fallen for the very stupid paranoia of the alleged sale of water, and have taught listeners only to blindly and unnecessarily hate politicians.

Will mainstream media soon become pro-Russian media?
In the mainstream media, pro-Russian and pro-Western views are currently balanced, with both pro-Western and pro-Russian stances being published. Pro-Russian views in the mainstream media are increasingly gaining ground. (I consider it a crazy opinion that all mainstream media are terribly biased just because they are not sufficiently pro-Russian, as Mr. Huďo and Lichtner used to say). I'm even afraid that in about two years, there will be much more pro-Russian propaganda than truthful news.
