We live in a difficult time when even intelligent people like Andor Šándor, the former head of the Czech military intelligence service, fall for Kremlin propaganda. How can we then expect other less intelligent people to be resistant to propaganda? After the British media published detailed information and evidence about the identity of the perpetrators, it became clear that the defender of Russian propaganda, Mr. Šándor, was seriously mistaken. I sincerely feel sorry for Mr. Šándor – it's a huge embarrassment. Now he will have to walk through the sewers of Prague, and he cannot show himself in public out of shame because it is a great disgrace.
Comrade Andor Šándor, former head of military intelligence, has made a fool of himself. A proper fool. He very strongly and devotedly defended Russian propaganda, claiming that Britain accused Russia without evidence, that the West expelled diplomats without evidence, and that the West was wronging Russia. However, the media recently revealed the identity of the specific perpetrator, who is an officer of Russian intelligence. British media point out that since he was an officer, it is more than likely that the order for the assassination was given from the highest political levels.
Šandor argues that the Kremlin would have no interest or motivation to order an assassination attempt on Skripal.
It's a big lie. The opposite is true. It is logical that many agents of the Russian secret services consider Putin and his regime to be criminal, and therefore they had a great motivation to become double agents and sell a lot of sensitive information to the British side. The assassination of Skripal could have meant strengthening discipline in the secret service, intimidating potential defectors that they could end up similarly.
The second possibility is that Skripal may have been forced to work for the British Secret Service for financial reasons, despite his retirement age. This could have seriously worried the Kremlin.
Furthermore, Shandor repeats Putin's argument that it was probably a staged assassination, as Skripal did not die after being exposed to Novichok and was saved.
Comrade Šándor does not understand what poisons are, he does not understand medicine, the human body, and he does not understand that Great Britain has a healthcare system at the highest scientific level. In Britain, doctors are also scientists. Top scientists. One third of all scientific medical research comes from Britain.
I guarantee you that if Sergei Skripal had been poisoned in the Slovak Republic or the Czech Republic, he would certainly have died, that's for sure. With our doctors, who hardly even follow new scientific research and hardly educate themselves at all, they wouldn't even know what to do with Skripal.
Furthermore, the pharmaceutical market in the UK has about 100 times more drugs available than the Slovak pharmaceutical market, not to mention various experimental drugs whose samples are stored in laboratories. Among these drugs are also very effective antidotes against Novichok.
Although Sándor and Russian propaganda said that they had expelled diplomats without evidence, the truth later came to light, and it turned out that the British police and secret service had informed politicians very correctly.
