Warning: All information in this article is authentic and true.
I managed to obtain very valuable information from some people whom I cannot name for security reasons. These are authentic people who are directly involved in the issue.
The information I learned from a certain person took my breath away – I turned pale and my knees were shaking from the information I received – I was horrified and crushed that such a thing is even possible. With such big games of the Russian secret services in Slovakia, one has doubts whether Slovakia is a sovereign country at all – in my opinion, it is not.
Introduction to the so-called alternative media
Alternative media is nothing new. It is an idea that is at least as old as 2005, when Vladimir Putin, by presidential decree, ordered the creation of the propaganda television station operating in foreign countries, Russian Today, RT. The fact that RT is directly owned by the government is no secret. Putin realized that even in Western countries there are people dissatisfied with the democratic political system and cleverly used these useful idiots to his political advantage, as they would undermine trust in democracy, undermine their own states, state institutions, and praise his dictatorial regime.
That was back in 2005. Today, the Kremlin has learned from its mistakes and has improved its propaganda strategy many times over. Alternative media arrived in Slovakia later and in a much more sophisticated form. The direct link between alternative media and the Kremlin was successfully concealed from the public.
Semi-secret Russian NGOs fund disinformation websites
We also know the specific names of some of these organizations, but for security reasons, we will not name them. These associations or non-governmental organizations are officially registered with the Ministry of the Interior, but that is the only information the public can learn about them. They do not operate any websites, have no public social media accounts, and do not issue any annual reports. Their activities are practically secret. They do have a published address, but it could be a scheme of a so-called shell company.
It is an extended arm of the Russian Embassy, the Kremlin, and the Russian secret service. Some disinformation websites are directly financed by them, others are in contact with them.
I can openly say that the so-called alternative media are neither transparent nor honest, as they conceal the existence of their benefactors and outwardly pretend to be independent, funded exclusively by voluntary contributions from their readers and listeners.
I ask: what moral principles do alternative media have when they openly lie to their own readers?
And I ask a second thing: if, then, only good and truth "allegedly" come from Russia, why do NGOs belonging to the Kremlin operate in secret? If someone is allegedly doing good, why are they afraid to come out into the light? Everyone can form their own opinion on this. There can be no talk of transparency here.
While Western-oriented "Soros" NGOs operate very transparently, have their own websites, the names of key people are publicly available, they are available on social networks, and they publish regular annual reports often beyond the scope of the law, the public knows nothing about semi-secret Russian NGOs.
The aggressive hypocrisy of alternative media
It is the height of arrogance when alternative media harshly attack "Soros-paid prostitutes" while they themselves are opaquely and secretly funded by the Kremlin. The main thing is that they pretend to be independent and that no one pays them. It makes one sick that such a thing is even possible.
More information
- We also managed to find out other very serious facts about the fact that the financing of Slobodný vysielač is not transparent and the amount of real money that Slobodný vysielač receives differs from the published results.
- Another alarming fact is that Kotleba's followers were also financially supported by Russian NGOs. (Supporting Kotleba's followers as half-madmen who could destroy Slovakia if they came to power is advantageous for the Russian side. The main thing is that they have a good relationship with Putin.)
