Juraj Poláček puts the Russian chauvinist hoax factory Sputnik on the same level as Deutsche Welle and Voice of America in terms of information quality. This is really too much.
Not to mention that Sputnik is an openly racist anti-Ukrainian medium, plus it spreads chauvinistic hatred towards the West, the USA, and European politicians. Full-fledged hoaxes in Sputnik are also a fairly regular practice.
In contrast, media outlets like Deutsche Welle do not engage in any propaganda or spread any hatred.
The positive side of Mr. Poláček: he admitted that Russia spent one billion EUR on propaganda in 2017.
All credit to Mr. Poláček for indirectly apologizing for his criticism of RTVS in the lower part of the article, thus admitting that the Russian side spends approximately 1 billion euros on propaganda in Europe.
In conclusion, the reality and the fact is that the Russian government (=Putin) always puts propaganda first. People in Russia can starve, but incredible amounts of money will always go to propaganda. This is confirmed by one of the greatest experts on Russian propaganda, a Russian living in Great Britain, Peter Pomerantsev, and other experts on Russia. People will not voluntarily spread propaganda that is not based on truth against their own conscience unless you bribe them with insane amounts of money. Russian propaganda can curse Soros a million times for being a demon, but I'm afraid that even Soros's foundation doesn't bribe NGOs with such insane amounts of money.
