Ministry of the Environment: it was revealed that former minister Budaj was a dangerous madman who totally decimated the ministry. News. Under Budaj, we experienced the biggest media failure in the history of the Slovak Republic.

The President and NGOs have made a big deal out of Rudolf Huliak, as he was the official nominee of the SNS party for minister. This is very positive because finally the whole of Slovakia has learned that the biggest corruption is concentrated in the environmental sector. Although Huliak occasionally mentions some inaccurate information, occasionally some conspiracy, the essence remains true: nature protection is indeed a money laundering machine.
But the biggest scandal is why the media revealed that nature protection has turned into a money laundering scheme so late, because I sent the media hundreds of pages of materials about the embezzlement, but they still decided to remain silent, and I did not get an explanation for why they are silent. When Huliak became the official nominee for minister, media censorship was no longer sustainable, and the media had no choice but to give Huliak a platform. Thank God it turned out this way. It’s a great pity that it was so late. If this information had been known to the public before the elections, the OĽANO party would not have entered parliament, because the myth of this party’s anti-corruption stance would have collapsed like a house of cards.
The fact that the media released information about mega-corruption so late is a sign of a huge failure of journalism in Slovakia. This fact threatens the credibility of the media. The media and journalists themselves are to blame for the extremely low credibility of the media. Only 25% of people in Slovakia trust the media, which is an insanely low number.
It is also sad that the mainstream media allowed themselves to be shamed by alternative media, which, unlike the mainstream media, drew attention to this corruption. The fact that you are overtaken in investigative journalism by alternative media, most of which are largely funded by Russia, is a huge disgrace.
Another serious problem is the various anti-corruption NGOs. They also remained silent. The credibility of these NGOs is particularly seriously threatened when they remained silent despite the fact that I sent them hundreds of pages of materials on corruption at the ministry. On the one hand, I reject the stupid hate of Robert Fico and other politicians towards NGOs, saying that they are financed by Soros or the American government, on the other hand, these organizations are to blame for their low credibility with the public. I did not receive a response from the NGOs except for two. Ms. Xénia Makarová, an employee of Stop Corruption, just dryly replied that they would not deal with corruption in the environmental department. She did not explain the reason for her statement, but she kept her word.
Just as a side note, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the future it was revealed that some anti-corruption NGOs are paid and bribed by corrupt groups that profit from embezzlement under the guise of nature protection.
Furthermore, Zuzana Grochalová, an employee of Transparency International, contacted me and arrogantly told me off, asking me not to send her any more emails about corruption in the environmental sector. She said my emails bothered her. She wrote this to me despite the fact that the official website of Transparency International states that the fight against corruption is its main activity, so I do not understand Ms. Grochalová’s argument. The incredible audacity and arrogance of some non-governmental organizations.

What will Minister Taraba be like?

Minister Taraba chose his secretary, Filip Kuffa, who became the most professionally competent and knowledgeable secretary of the ministry in the history of the Slovak Republic. The ministry has had a long-standing problem that not a single expert on ecology or forest ecosystems worked there. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Technical University of Zvolen, where forest ecosystems are taught in such detail that it is one of the most difficult schools to study in Slovakia. In international rankings, this university is in second place in its category.
Given that Taraba was also involved in business, he has good managerial skills, which are important for any minister.

Evidence that “We are the Forest” is a political initiative of the Progressive Slovakia party

As a long-time anti-corruption activist, I know who is behind “My sme les”. It’s Progresívne Slovensko or Michal Wiezik. Click on the financial support of My sme les and you will see that the Aevis foundation is behind them.
https://www.mysmeles.sk/podpora
Where can you find out that Michal Wiezik is behind Aevis? Read the annual reports of the Aevis foundation. Budaj’s advisor Michal Wiezik only left Aevis after he received a grant from Budaj from the Recovery Plan. Wiezik is a fraudster with grants.
Wiezik himself boasted about being Budaj’s advisor in a podcast on Denník N with Soňa Maková.

Is Slovakia facing infringement proceedings from the European Commission because of Minister Taraba?

The PS party is threatening Minister Taraba that they will maliciously report him to Brussels because he will not be a minister according to the ideas of eco-terrorists. A small part of journalists are scaring people with the same arguments and spreading this hoax.
Slovakia had only one serious infringement in the environmental field, concerning the capercaillie. But even in this case, to put it simply, the Slovak Republic reported itself, because there are no limits to the madness at the Ministry of the Environment. Slovakia was reported in 2019, during the government of Minister Solymos. At that time, the ministry was actually run by the incredibly crazy eco-fascist Katarína Butkovská, the director of the section. The report came from the My sme les (We Are the Forest) initiative. My sme les is a disinformation initiative backed by Progresívne Slovensko, and I have strong evidence for this.
The only one who can assess the state of the environment and the state of nature protection is the State Nature Protection. Simply put, the State Nature Protection has reported the State Nature Protection.
The Ministry of the Environment also has a list of certified organizations for the analysis of damage to habitats and the environment, which have exactly the same or even higher powers to analyze the status of habitats and protected plants and animals as the State Nature Protection. They also have a certificate and propose corrective measures after damage to habitats occurs. They also have a certificate for searching for new protected areas. The search for protected areas of various types is a great business in itself, and many scandals have emerged where protected areas of European importance were declared anywhere, by trial and error in random places, just by drawing on the map, without real field research, without verifying information, whether the given habitat or the given protected animal or plant is actually located in the given locality. The fact remains that the vast majority of protected areas of European importance are declared in this way, with millions from EU funds going to it.
In addition to reputable institutions such as the National Forest Centre, you will also find, believe it or not, the organized crime group BROZ among these certified companies and organizations, which embezzled EUR 80 million in EU funds for the supposed protection of nature.
I would suggest that only state institutions should have a certificate, because in private organizations there is a big conflict of interest and a great temptation for corruption.
In the previous article and video, I described in more detail that the State Nature Protection is funded in a very bizarre way by non-governmental organizations, which leads to a huge conflict of interest, and the employees of the State Nature Protection perceive non-governmental organizations as their superiors because they are financially dependent on them.
Although I have strayed a bit from the topic, the above facts will help us understand how the EC infringement against Slovakia occurred in the case of the capercaillie.
So how did the infringement happen with the capercaillie?
First, the ministry amended the legislation to grant special powers to selected NGOs, which in some areas have the same or greater powers than the State Nature Protection itself. Later, a group of NGOs agreed on a common procedure. One organization reported Slovakia to the European Commission, another gave an accredited opinion that the capercaillie habitat was being damaged, although in reality this was not true. The same organization submitted a proposal on how to address or stop the damage to the capercaillie habitat. The European Commission was deceived and received misleading information, and based on hoaxes and disinformation, it initiated an infringement procedure against Slovakia. It is incredibly perverse that the official position of the ministry was the hoax of eco-fascists that the ideal capercaillie habitat is a dead, non-intervention forest, although the consensus among experts is the exact opposite. Inaction and non-intervention is the most universal nature protection. According to eco-fascists, non-intervention is a panacea for everything, although experts say the opposite.
NGOs also scared the European Commission with the supposedly dying capercaillie, and on that basis forced the Commission to give them further subsidies for the false and pretended protection of the capercaillie, which was just a kind of passive monitoring.
A great way for eco-fascists to make money by reporting the Slovak Republic. It is also perverse that the ministry is run by NGOs when the ministry went against itself. Incredibly insane and crazy corruption when the ministry goes so crazy against nature and against the public interest.
The BROZ association has already indirectly threatened the new minister with infringements. Allegedly, without their EU funds, nature would not be sufficiently protected, and Slovakia would face infringements. I would not take this threat lightly, and in the place of the new minister, I would immediately revoke the accreditation of BROZ and similar organizations to analyze habitats. Otherwise, BROZ may start sulking and may report the ministry to the European Commission based on its own analyses.
This is a huge conflict of interest, where the BROZ association analyzes for itself which habitat is at risk and, based on its accredited opinion, forces the European Commission to give them subsidies for it. To make matters worse, the efficiency of using EU funds by the BROZ association is only about 10 to 15 percent, the rest is simply stolen.
BROZ can blackmail the ministry, saying, “If you don’t give us subsidies, we will report you to the EU.”
It is necessary to change the legislation to prevent this corruption and conflict of interest.
In conclusion: There is certainly no risk of infringement proceedings against Slovakia because of Minister Taraba. Unless the ministry reported itself and went against itself. However, it is important to take the above-mentioned measures to be sure.
Just as a side note, the Ministry has the authority not to pay the BROZ association the 38% co-financing for LIFE projects. It has this authority according to the current contracts. So the Ministry also has the leverage to blackmail BROZ.

What was Minister Budaj like? A madman who decimated the ministry. Under Budaj, we experienced the biggest media failure in the history of the Slovak Republic.

Zoroslav Kollár published an interesting video. He spoke about information published by the media as well as information that has not been publicized to date. The new secretary of the ministry promised to try to verify the truthfulness of this information. The new minister Taraba confirmed some of the information.
The double standards of the scoundrels from Aktuality.sk are very interesting. While during the pre-election campaign, Aktuality.sk was fine with even the mobster Zoroslav Kollár, who spread unverified information because the end justifies the means, as they wanted to destroy the Sme rodina party at all costs, on the other hand, if Zoroslav criticizes Budaj, they are suddenly silent, even though some of the information was confirmed by the new minister. Aktuality.sk is the trash of journalism; this newspaper is nothing more than a PR marketing agency and a propaganda unit of the Progresívne Slovensko party.
Minister Taraba really confirms the information about Budaj as an extremely lazy minister who did not even go to work properly and did not work. He claims that he was left with an incredible 1900 unsigned items on his desk after Budaj, among which there is a significant part of unpaid invoices . Absolute sabotage of the ministry equal to a criminal offense, when he could not even ensure the most basic emergency crisis operation of the ministry, including its subordinate organizations such as the Water Management Enterprise.
However, laziness may not be the only reason why Budaj failed to manage his mandate. He most likely suffered from some neurodegenerative disease. In the past, I also pointed out this concern, because a video appeared where it was seen how Budaj’s basic cognitive abilities failed for a while. An employee of the geological institute claimed that the gudron pits have an acidic pH, but Budaj understood that they are alkaline.
It was not hate when I informed about Budaj’s dementia, but it was a serious concern about the former minister’s health when I called Budaj a demented old man who is being exploited by his secretaries. I am a person with very good intuition, and it seems that these concerns of mine have been confirmed.
It remains a mystery why Budaj’s secretaries remained silent and just helplessly watched as their minister failed to manage his work and as the ministry was decimated. Staying in power at all costs was more important to them than acting in the public interest and contacting the Prime Minister and the OĽANO party that the demented madman needed to be replaced.
Budaj’s secretary, Michal Kiča, had only one task at the ministry: as a former employee of the organized group BROZ, to secure as many millions in subsidies as possible for this corrupt group. Budaj didn’t care that he had destroyed the ministry to such an extent that the damage would take at least two electoral terms to repair. Kiča also found it convenient that invoices were not being paid, because the fewer invoices paid to the Water Management Company, the more money remained for the criminal group BROZ. LIFE projects are co-financed by the state at 38%, so it’s a deep drain on the state’s finances as well. It’s sad that such a cynical scoundrel as Michal Kiča was even given airtime on TA3 television. Such a person should be in Leopoldov prison, not on TA3.
Prime Ministers Matovič and Heger were certainly very well informed about the madness happening at the ministry. Despite this, they acted ignorantly and did nothing. Heger even took in the scoundrels Kiča and Budaj into his party. If this information had been known before the elections, the Democrats would have received 0.1% of the votes in the elections, and the OĽANO party would certainly have received less than 5% of the votes.
The media has enormous power. Many ministers have already resigned due to media pressure. But why did the media not act at all when they were very well informed that the ministry was occupied by crazy fools and corrupt people? Why did the media, by their passivity, go against the public interest?
When the media wants to, it can unleash hell. The media managed to organize the Gorilla protests, protests in front of Bonaparte, protests for a Decent Slovakia, and so on. But why did the media support Budaj in decimating the ministry?
The media only published hoaxes about Budaj as the most capable minister in history, or it was only very subtly hinted that Budaj was not doing so well in some minor detail.
With Budaj, we experienced the biggest media failure in the history of the Slovak Republic.
And so that I don’t just criticize the media and the OLANO party, the SaS party also helped keep Budaj in power, although this party was also well informed about many scandals at the ministry. If the above information had appeared before the elections, the SaS party would not have even made it into parliament.
On the contrary, some representatives of the Sme rodina party, on the contrary, at least verbally criticized Budaj and called for his resignation.
