- The wrong approach to spirituality is when a person perceives it as a form of escape from reality and if this is to be a way to solve problems. Escaping from problems is not solving problems. This is also the problem of so-called esotericists (and religiously-minded people).
- On the contrary, scientific spirituality is the opposite. It is an effective method to solve everyday practical problems, including finances.
- For those who want to pursue spirituality more seriously, it is a more demanding lifestyle both in terms of time and finances. Either a mature society should support such a person as a mediator of light, or such a person must take care of themselves, for example, through successful entrepreneurship.
- It is not possible to have a regular job and at the same time work intensively on meditation techniques.
- Another solution, another regime, if it is possible to achieve, is to alternate between commuting to work for a month and working on meditation for a month. Or alternate between commuting to work for half a year and meditating for half a year.

The basic attributes of meditation are time-consuming, patience, perseverance, and the results are not immediate.
Intensive meditation for several days in a row is essential. I strictly recommend it. Otherwise, there will be no results and it will only demotivate a person (and they will not want to continue meditating).
Working with the lower chakras is more difficult than with the upper ones.
In addition to energy meditation and working with chakras, the process of energy cleansing must also take place through a glass container with water under your feet.
There is a method of working with and energizing the chakras through the method of "pouring" energy from chakra to chakra. (This method needs further explanation)
A blocked nostril seriously disrupts the course of meditation, making concentration impossible. Explanation of this matter based on the teachings of Ida and Pingala .
Slower breathing increases blood pressure during meditation, which prevents drowsiness during meditation.
When meditating, it is important to be able to keep the body still for at least a few minutes. At least every two minutes, be able to keep the body still, because it is necessary for focus and concentration during meditation. This is because a person tends to move constantly.
The goal of a proper spiritual journey can also be to first resolve the financial area of life through meditation techniques, so that one can then develop spiritually in a deeper way.
*********************
The biggest disadvantage of meditation techniques is that they are extremely time-consuming . They work, they are effective, but they are so time-consuming that if one is serious about them, it is not possible to do them alongside any other job. Meditation techniques need to be practiced in an extremely concentrated, disciplined manner, working on oneself continuously and uninterruptedly for several days in a row from morning to night, except for sleep. Otherwise, meditation techniques are meaningless, and energy will not accumulate correctly in the energy body and chakras.
Approach to suffering
- The right approach is not to escape from this reality, as many spiritually-minded people perceive it, but to be able to live life with a minimum of suffering.
- On the one hand, it is true that a person can grow and learn through suffering, but it is not the only way of spiritual growth.
- On the other hand, a suffering person feeds evil, feeds demonic entities that feed on the energy that a person releases from themselves when suffering.
- The role and mission of man is not to escape this earthly reality, not to suffer, but within the framework of spiritual development to be able to influence his destiny, to influence reality so that he suffers as little as possible.
- Also, suffering does not always make people better, and it does not always contribute to spiritual growth and development. For example, I had high hopes that the COVID crisis would make people better, more united, more compassionate, and kinder. At least in Slovakia, the opposite has become true; the COVID crisis has divided the entire society, and people have started to hate each other much more. We have not seen so much evil and division among people as after COVID in the history of the Slovak Republic for at least the last 50 years. People have gone completely crazy because of COVID; half of the people fell for the most primitive anti-vaxxer propaganda, "people, don't get vaccinated because Bill Gates wants to chip you."
Within the philosophy of scientific spirituality, the task and mission of a person during their stay on this planet is to achieve as little suffering as possible through meditation techniques and the like. The mission is also to be able to control reality and be able to fulfill wishes.

Another interesting article on the topic

Hinduism
Hinduism is a very extensive philosophy. Ancient Sanskrit texts, including some of the oldest, such as the Upanishads, contain much pagan philosophy or other medical nonsense, up to very profound philosophical truth or medical methods used to this day. They contain very effective meditation techniques, as well as meditation instructions that are nonsense and cannot work.
Everything is mixed together, and people have a big problem filtering and choosing only the true and valuable knowledge.
Also, the teaching of yoga has its flaws, for example, too much emphasis on asceticism, an approach to spirituality as an escape from this reality, a too pronounced opinion on sexuality, such as a complete ban on masturbation.
This is a bit of an off-topic note, but I notice a strong interest in spirituality in India, even among the younger generation. For this reason, I think that India can become an economic superpower in the future, because even a minority of people can raise the vibrations of the entire population.
Lotus position (yogic sitting), Padmasana
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_position
Practicing this sitting position is a mistake and an obstacle in meditation, and I do not recommend practicing it mainly due to discomfort.
In Asia and India, it is a cultural custom not to use chairs and instead do all activities in a half-lotus position on the ground. I have seen many videos from various factories where people work on the ground in this way, including Muslim countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh. Apparently, this sitting position is not practically related to meditation as much as to cultural customs.
Some younger medieval yoga instructions also mention certain variations of the lotus seat, but I do not think it is a good idea.
One can meditate leaning back in an armchair or leaning against the back of a chair, but the disadvantage is that one can quickly fall asleep.
The solution is to sit on an exercise ball or sit unsupported on a chair, where there is no risk of falling asleep during meditation. In addition, especially with an exercise ball, it has the advantage of intensive use of the spinal muscles, which are constantly working. There is no risk of forgetting yourself and being hunched over as when working on a computer. Especially if you work for several hours at a time, the spinal muscles work much more intensively than it might seem at first glance, so from the point of view of medicine, orthopedics, and spinal health, it has great health benefits.
Once in a while, it is recommended that you meditate for a while, leaning back in an armchair, for example, to improve blood flow through the gluteal muscle, especially when it comes to a meditation lasting several hours – such a "change of position" from time to time.
A side note: for better concentration and effectiveness during meditation, it is good if you manage to keep your body completely still at least every few minutes. People tend to make constant movements.
Scholar / yoga expert David Dostal stated that in the past, the priority was to have a position during meditation that was as comfortable as possible. Later, however, instructions for very uncomfortable positions emerged. … He also claimed that yoga as gymnastics was very limited in the past and only served to exercise the body after long periods of sitting in meditation.
Intrusive emerging thoughts, diencephalon, thalamus
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensory_gating
One of the most important things to address in meditation is distracting, emerging thoughts.
From the meditative experience, their source is in the area of the diencephalon, the thalamus. The thalamus is the largest part of the diencephalon, it connects the entire brain between its individual parts/areas and is responsible for filtering thoughts so that consciousness focuses only on what it needs.
The thalamus, by its location, corresponds to the sixth chakra, the third eye. During meditation, this area is worked with intensively.
Intrusive emerging thoughts
Disturbing emerging thoughts reduce the effectiveness of meditation techniques such as working with chakras. Ideally, you should have as few of them as possible. However, it is not an easy challenge.
Patanjali's Yoga Sutra talks about how to deal with disturbing thoughts.
After you deal with distracting thoughts, you may find yourself in interesting altered states of consciousness.
While you "work" on disturbing thoughts, you have the opportunity to understand how human consciousness as such works, and this on many levels.
One possible approach is to do two jobs at once – dealing with distracting thoughts that you will not avoid anyway and at the same time working on the meditation technique itself.
A side note: for better concentration and effectiveness during meditation, it is good if you manage to keep your body completely still at least every few minutes. People tend to make constant movements.
One cannot be surprised that one suffers, that one's wishes are not fulfilled, that one has no control over one's life, when one has no control over one's thoughts. (One understands this through the meditation technique of emptying oneself of disturbing emerging thoughts)
Emptiness meditation may sound quite depressing to some. Because the word emptiness is associated with something negative. In fact, it is something positive. Perhaps a better name would be meditation on self-control, control over one's consciousness, control over disturbing thoughts.
A method for dealing with intrusive thoughts
- It is important to realize whether or not I have disturbing thoughts at a given moment – the art of proper identification. This ability to distinguish needs to be trained.
- it is good to say to yourself the keyword of the topic to which the disturbing thought relates
A person who does not master the meditation technique of emptying themselves of disturbing thoughts cannot say that they have their mind under control, that they have free will.
In addition, the meditation of emptying helps a person to be resistant to religious, political and media propaganda.
The observer and the observation of thoughts, the misinterpretation of this teaching, and myths in esotericism. Solving disturbing emerging thoughts.
Thoughts never need to be observed. From my own experience, I can confirm that it doesn't work. What is important, however, is to be able to correctly identify in the present moment how many distracting thoughts you have, whether you have them or not, and to what extent they are distracting.
The right thing to do is to not pay attention to thoughts and not give them energy.
Abdominal breathing
With all types of meditation techniques, so-called abdominal breathing should be done. People usually tend to breathe with their chest. This means that when breathing, the chest rises/moves. It is correct for the abdomen to rise/move (it rises when you lie down and do meditation lying down). The physical body and the energetic body are thus in greater movement, changing their volume, and thus the body turns into a kind of pump of energy/prana.
From my own experience, I can confirm that abdominal breathing is justified.
In Tao Yoga, the author Mantak Chia also introduces so-called reverse breathing, where the abdomen is contracted inwards when inhaling and, conversely, the abdomen is pushed outwards when exhaling. This technique helps to move energy/prana from the lower part of the torso upwards into the chest.
Meditation technique. Feet as a gateway for energy
You can do the following visualization: imagine a ball of light near your feet. Through your feet, through their soles, light from that ball enters your entire energy body up to your head. Repeat this as the energy moves from your feet to your head. It works best when you're lying down. That just occurred to me as something you could try. The feet are like an entry gate for energy.
Slowed breathing
Especially in yoga, various meditation techniques of slowed breathing are emphasized. From my own experience, it has its justification.
The importance of slowed breathing is as follows:
- reduces the risk of drowsiness / falling asleep during meditation
- improves concentration, helps to control disturbing emerging thoughts
Asceticism
The student/expert of yoga David Dostal explains that in the past, yoga was not associated with excessive asceticism. Asceticism was not recommended. He quoted from the Bhagavad Gita . Hard asceticism originated in later/recent periods.
A research and experimental approach to meditation
The right approach is not just to blindly follow some meditation instructions, but to work more individually, have a sense of experimentation, and follow what helps you the most.
It is important to take notes on how you are doing in meditation.
In the case of a successful meditation, when you write down all your feelings, affirmations, and the methods you used to get into meditation, you can then easily get back into these states when you meditate at another time, as people tend to forget very quickly.
Also, not everything can be described in words in meditation instructions; words are a limited form of communication, even if they were thousands of years old before Christ. You have to figure out many things for yourself.
Furthermore, some information is not described in words and must be transferred to you by an experienced teacher through the subconscious/unconscious on an energetic level.
I personally have many of my own meditation guides, and they are also very rich in terminology. I have only publicly published a very small part of these guides because I approach this matter very humbly. First, I have to have a meditation guide verified 1000 times that it works well, and only then will I publish it.
Always record all the successes of failure and positive or negative feelings in meditation. It seems unnecessary, but in fact it has several meanings. For example, you transfer various feelings from the subconscious by writing them into consciousness (if you don't write it down, you will completely forget the subconscious feelings after a few hours or minutes). You can write in a paper notebook or in an old mobile phone, where you stick to the rule that you do not connect it to the Internet (this is to avoid succumbing to the temptation to spend time on the Internet instead of meditating).
Self-discipline and willpower in meditation
Nowadays, it is much harder to meditate than in the past because there are many temptations and an unlimited amount of entertainment such as social networks, PC games, and many others.
Having strong self-discipline, having the strength and energy to even get to meditation, and having the endurance to devote enough time to it is a huge challenge. Probably the biggest challenge.
