It is beneath human dignity for a believer to humiliatingly list all their most intimate sins and weaknesses to a priest. Such practices were understandable in the medieval church, but such sectarian practices definitely do not belong in the 21st century. From the perspective of psychology and shamanism, a person commits various sins and weaknesses most often not because they are "morally responsible" for it, but because of various psychological complexes and programs for which a person is not to blame. From the perspective of psychology and shamanism, the practice of the sacrament of reconciliation is absurd.<br \/> Confession is particularly sensitive and humiliating if the priest knows the person personally, i.e., they are not a stranger to him. This problem is mainly in smaller towns and villages.<br \/> The state should declare confession a sectarian practice and make it illegal by law.<br \/> In this matter, the Protestant churches should be mentioned in a positive light, as they are the lesser evil: they do not recognize or practice confession.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Something like confession definitely does not belong in the 21st century.
