A man who spends most of his time among the original tribal shamans also mentioned religion in the conversation. This is an excerpt from the interview . The attitude of the original shamanism towards religion is strongly critical: religion is considered a tool of enslavement, manipulation, and ignorance. The religious idea of God is considered something primitive.
Is this controlling force what we call God? If someone wants to call IT God, then why not, for God's sake? But beware, this immense Force is NOT even remotely similar to the gods created by human imagination! Unfortunately, they are also here, because every human THOUGHT lives and exists, but they are not the Central Force. Humanity, during its existence, has created a whole host of astral specters, for the worship of which, and thus feeding, all sorts of "religions" serve. These specters have always served only themselves and were dependent on US, they were created by MAN in his image. Gods are astral parasites. They are virtual beings that feed on our energy; they are just a special type of so-called elementals, as the old magicians called these formations – nothing more. The fundamental Force is something that has nothing to do with any religion; it is Pure Energy that has incredible properties. This Essence can be perceived as something unimaginably noble and as something that completely defies all existing human ideas about "God". This Force truly controls everything. But it does not command, because it does not need to at all. Yet I feel that this Force connects everything into the Great One – and coordinates all processes that take place in Being. Being can be understood as a huge and thoroughly living Organism. To understand it is still beyond human power today. Therefore, whoever says that he "knew God" or "the truth" simply does not know what he is saying. With the current brain, it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand Being as a Whole; with highly above-average activation of energy systems (chakras in the old way), we can barely orient ourselves in a small part of this Being, but this part can, of course, subjectively seem to us as "everything". For a beetle, the branch of a tree it climbs is also "everything"… Being is a Superorganism and consists of a whole range of circuits that vibrate and work within it, similar to organs in a multi-dimensional body. It will take thousands of years before humans evolve into something capable of SEEING – and thus understanding Being somewhat more. So far, NO ONE on this planet has realized "God" or reached "Knowledge."
The power of people's minds/thoughts is enormous. If a large number of people start believing in an idea, it becomes real. The Christian God is perceived from a shamanic perspective as a kind of pseudo-being that was "created" by people themselves. This may not be an entirely accurate statement, but the religious God is essentially an egregore (a thought field to which a person mostly enslaves themselves).
The pseudo-being of the Christian God asks to eat. It needs constant energy (also to maintain its existence). A religious person, through their faith in God, is strongly robbed of energy. This energy is then drained by the demonic beings, the supai, and they also feed on it.
