If someone mentions the crimes of the church, most people will remember the Inquisition and the witch trials. But the truth is that the church has committed much greater crimes in history than the Inquisition. People do not know about this – people are ignorant – ignorance is a very serious problem. Therefore, a great deal of education needs to be done to inform people about the crimes of the church.
Myth: Christianity as opposition to Islam
With the current threat of Islamization of Europe, it has become very popular in the alternative media to say that the only way to counter Islamization is to restore one's Christian roots. This very stupid opinion, however, is based on a very great ignorance. People do not know the history of the church and do not know that the church has committed crimes as cruel as the Islamic State in the past.
Miroslav Švický (Žiarislav) and the history of the church
Žiarislav is a Slavic pagan – I do not recognize this guy and consider him a "charlatan", but I must recognize one positive feature of his: he deals with the academic history of the Slavs very honestly, faithfully and seriously. When he spoke about the bloody and violent Christianization of the Slavs in extreme terms, I was very interested. It is interesting that in connection with the history of the church, the Inquisition is often mentioned, but the genocide of people unwilling to become Christians as part of the Christianization of Europe is somehow forgotten.
The following information is briefly provided from Žiarislav's historical radio broadcasts:
–In the Byzantine Empire (which was about half of Europe) Christianity was introduced under penalty of death. Anyone who was not willing to be baptized (= become a Christian) was killed. We can't even imagine how cruel it must have been. It was exactly the same cruelty as the Islamic state – killing all non-believers
–in Slavic countries, Christianization was carried out in such a way that anyone who was not willing to become a Christian was mutilated (specifically, their nose was cut off), their property was confiscated and they were put into slavery (the conditions in slavery were similar to those in a concentration camp). Similar practices as the Islamic State does. Very cruel treatment
–the monarch Saint Stephen was declared a saint by the church (i.e. he should be a perfect and ideal role model for Christians), in reality he was responsible for the very bloody and cruel Christianization of the territory of present-day Hungary and Slovakia
–Cyril and Methodius are recognized and admired today for bringing Christianity, but in reality they only brought with them violent practices of Christianization
–especially cruel military genocidal expeditions of the Franks against the Slavs for their Christianization were before the arrival of Cyril and Methodius. In the conquered territories, anyone who was not willing to be baptized was immediately killed. It was genocide – the Franks are Germans/Germans (and certainly that is why the Germans must pay the karma for this genocide of the Slavs today with the immigration crisis and multicultural hell). These military genocidal detachments were mostly commanded by a Catholic bishop. The Catholic Church directly (i.e. not through state power) murdered the Slavs.
Nazism versus the Catholic Church
A certain shamanic scholar said an extremely interesting sentence, with which I fully agree: "it is a great paradox that Nazism is forbidden and the Catholic Church is not forbidden." Of course he is very right: the church is responsible for much greater evil and genocide than Nazism and yet the church is tolerated. This is truly incredible: a crazy double standard. The exact same organization that committed those terrible genocides of Christianization exists in full force and in full parade until now and is even actively supported and financed by the state. I have to agree very much with one very wise sentence: "everyone talks about how the church spread education, but no one will say that the church had to exterminate half of the people so that Europeans could become Christians at all".
