Proposals for a possible reform of Christianity (Catholic Church)

The Reformation of Christianity and the Catholic Church

The Catholic Church is in great need of reform. The fact that the Catholic Church is strongly centralized around the Pope also has a positive side, in that the Pope can convene a council and call for reform. In decentralized Islam, reforming the religion is much more difficult.
Dogmatic religions such as Christianity and Islam are very difficult to reform because the dogmas of religion are considered immutable and constant. Especially nowadays, there are very strong sentiments of resistance to any reform in the church. Any attempt at reform is labeled as liberalism, and we must be as conservative as possible at all costs. Even a tiny attempt by Pope Francis to make a small reform in the Church, a more tolerant approach to divorcees, met with very passionate resistance from many bishops (this mainly concerns Polish bishops). In about 100 years, we will look at these bishops in the same way we now look at the inquisitors.
There is a mentality in the church that the teaching of the church is infallible and cannot be changed, but they themselves do not realize that the Second Vatican Council itself abolished many previously established dogmas. It was a very beneficial council that reformed the medieval inquisitorial church into the church of its present form. Before the council, it was believed in the church that the Catholic Church was the only one in which salvation existed, today the Vatican recognizes the salvation of all Christians.
There are very strong tendencies in the church to slow down the reform of the church as much as possible, but it cannot be stopped. Reactionaries do not realize that they are only slowing down the reform of the church, but in the long run they will not stop it. In about 500 years, although it seems absolutely impossible now, the Catholic Church will be reformed in such a way that it will declare religion only as a symbol of traditions. Similarly, just as today the church perceives the violent Old Testament as a symbol – things are not taken seriously there (although in the past it was taken literally and manifested itself, for example, in violent Christianization), so all church dogmas will be taken as symbolism in the future, which should not be taken very seriously.
Currently, it is a very sad time when the church is not willing to tolerate even the personal opinion of the Catholic, now suspended, priest Michal Lajcha, who speaks about the voluntariness of celibacy.

Proposal for the reform of the Catholic Church: tolerance towards other religions/philosophies. Remove the opinion that shamanism and healers are connected with the devil.

Since I got rid of Christianity, my relatives have remained Christians. Of course, my relatives condemn me for not being a Christian. They are not tolerant of the fact that I am not a Christian. If the Church were to be reformed in the future, I consider it most important to strengthen tolerance towards other faiths. The documents of the Second Vatican Council and some post-conciliar encyclicals also speak of the possibility of salvation for non-believers, but unfortunately, the mainstream of the church is still very intolerant.
To make matters worse, most Catholic priests and practicing believers consider religions such as Hinduism to be a religion connected with the devil. They also believe that all healers and the shamanic spiritual system are connected to the devil-Satan.
Even when I was a fanatical Christian in the past, I believed in it, and now I self-critically admit that I am very ashamed of it.
The Church should also clearly cleanse itself of medieval inquisitorial thinking from the times of burning witches, and stop suspecting other spiritual systems of being connected with the devil. After all, there is no more demonic and satanic religion than Christianity. Christianity has the most blood on its hands, Christianity has done more evil in history than Islam. The violent Christianization of the Slavs and Europe, the Crusades, 80 years of wars between Catholics and Protestants, the violent Christianization and destruction of cultures in North and South America and other countries, the destruction of indigenous cultures around the world. No other religion than Christianity has more darkness in its symbolism than Christianity: the symbol of a dead body on a cross or the symbol of blood.
Even the church itself should have some healthy self-reflection, admit its mistakes and stop suspecting others of cooperating with religion.

Church reform: baptizing children only from the age of 18. Respecting freedom. Not imposing faith, not evangelizing. Fiery sermons by priests.

The most repulsive thing about the Catholic Church and Christianity is the disrespect for personal freedom and the imposition of Christianity. Shortly after birth, parents have their child baptized, but they do not ask the child whether they freely and without coercion wish to be a Christian or not. Furthermore, most non-religious people are willing to have a wedding with Christian rituals. Before the wedding, the priest conducts thorough pre-marital preparation, where he forbids spouses from using contraception and gives partners the strict obligation to have their children baptized and raise them as Christians. At the wedding ritual, the partners solemnly swear before the altar that they will raise the child as a Christian.
Christianity is nothing more than an ideology – religion, and any harmful ideology are the same energies.
Imagine if some parents raised their child as a passionate communist, and that child knew all the statements of Marx, Lenin, and Stalin by heart, we all know how that would end. The state authorities would take the child away from the parents. However, when a child ends up in the hands of religious fanatics, it is somehow excessively tolerated.
It would be good if the people within the Catholic Church themselves knew and realized that the baptism of small children is certainly not a respect for the freedom of a human being and that it is only at the age of 18 that a person should be asked whether they want to be a Christian.
Another very repulsive and disgusting thing in Christianity is evangelization and imposing religion, often using outright manipulative methods. For example, in the case of the Godzone project, young people are herded into a hall, they don't even know where they are, but religious fanatics are there brainwashing them. Christianity is a well-known ideology, so there's no need to promote it. Whoever wants to become a Christian will find a Christian community and fellowship on their own, and there's no need for aggressive evangelization.
If these things were observed, Christianity would practically disappear completely within 50 years. Religion is unnatural to man, and people would get rid of it very quickly without being forced.
A Catholic priest does not have to be that harmful in terms of evangelization and pastoral care if he does not do overtime. However, most Catholic priests do overtime, which manifests itself, for example, in fiery fanatical sermons, organizing children's Christian camps, and organizing various Christian evangelization programs for children in parishes. Many Catholic priests are simply not satisfied with brainwashing children in schools and need to brainwash them in parishes as well in preparation for their first Holy Communion or confirmation.
An intelligent and mentally balanced priest should have at least enough self-reflection to respect the freedom of the individual in his sermons and should not manipulate and impose a fanatical faith on people. However, there are few such priests.
A Catholic priest thinks that imposing faith is his sacred duty, and through religious manipulation and indoctrination, he believes he is only giving people the best. However, it would still be good if priests had sufficient self-reflection to realize that imposing their faith through hypnotic sermons is wrong.
