Religious extremist Ján Buc becomes a parliamentary chaplain
Not only is it outrageous that the parliament will have its own chaplain (arranged by Boris Kollár), but the church has decided to appoint one of the most extremist and radical Catholic priests, Ján Buc, as chaplain. When I found out, I almost fell off my chair. This is a really harsh provocation. The church couldn't have come up with a bigger provocation. Ján Buc adheres to the Pentecostal form of Christianity, which is the most extreme and fanatical form of religion. He is known for his extremely fiery and manipulative sermons. A completely unnecessary division of an already extremely divided society. A really bad joke. As if there wasn't a moderate priest to be found. Will Ján Buc chase liberal MPs around the parliament and exorcise the devil from them with holy water? TA3 also apparently broke the law by not giving space to a person who has a negative opinion of the parliamentary chaplain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEOTfl1HycQ
Other reasons why a parliamentary chaplain is a mistake:
- The Constitution of the Slovak Republic states that the Slovak Republic is not bound by any religion or ideology. This is a serious violation of the Constitution.
- An alternative solution would be if liberal Protestants, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and Slavic pagans https://ved.sk/ had the same space as a Catholic priest. Let equality apply to all religions. Let each of them perform their rituals. This is the only way a parliamentary chaplain can function without violating the constitution.
- A parliamentary chaplain is contrary to the teachings of the Bible. Jesus said in the Bible: give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. This means that the church should not interfere with the state and vice versa.
- Christians believe in a false and not a true idea of God. A Christian imagines a dead body on the cross when they think of God.
- If you want to be a successful politician, learn from Boris Kollár's mistakes. God punished Kollár for trading with the church, God punished him for the parliamentary chaplain because he did not get into parliament.
