The Catholic sect Godzone and ZKSM.sk are a branch of the American occult sect Bethel

The Godzone project draws from the Bethel church, which shows signs of New Age and occultism.

The Godzone project is thoroughly infiltrated by the teachings of the controversial Bethel Church. First, I will show you how these movements are interconnected, then I will move on to the individual heresies that Bethel Church preaches and to the manifestations of occultism that occur there.
Godzone does not hide its inspiration from Bethel Church. Many sympathizers of this movement traveled overseas to draw on their spirituality. One part of Godzone magazine was entirely dedicated to this church. Two young men from Godzone talk about their experiences at Bethel Church in Redding, California:
http://www.tvlux.sk/archiv/play/4558
The name of the project itself comes from Bethel. The term "God's Zone" is often used here and is also the name of a book sold in the Bethel e-shop:
https://shop.ibethel.org/products/enter-the-god-zone
Likewise, the entire rhetoric of the Godzone project is inspired by Bethel Church. Their slogans such as kingdom culture, a generation that cares about God's kingdom (kiobk), revival, the identity of God's children, the revelation of God's kingdom on earth (Bethel Church's motto is "as in heaven, so on earth") – all these expressions are literally translated from the Bethel Church website. Their two-year Godzone school is the equivalent of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. If you browse the website and videos, you will find many other similarities. In the Godzone shop you can also find books by the senior pastor of Bethel Church, Bill Johnson: http://shop.godzone.sk/sk/knihy/238-nadprirodzena-moc-premenej-mysle-bill-johnson.html
Now let's move on to why I claim that the inspiration of Bethel is unacceptable.
Bethel Church is controversial not only from the perspective of the Catholic faith. Many Protestants also disagree with and condemn the teachings of this church. Until 2006, Bethel Church was part of the Assemblies of God – an association of about 140 autonomous Pentecostal churches. In that year, however, Bethel Church separated and became a non-denominational church – meaning they do not have a formal statement of what they believe, as is usually the case with Christian churches. Essentially, you can believe anything; for example, you can declare that Jesus was not God-man but only a man, and it's okay, as long as you love him. In this video, we can see visitors to Bethel Church, with whom a Protestant opponent of the movement tries to communicate. He tries to point out the unbiblical teachings in Bethel and asks if they care about theology at all, and watch how they react (from 00:37):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZkgY-bP7yk
The lady literally says, "We are all loved (by God), and it doesn't matter what theology we believe in." And the man rightly tells them, "But a Christian does care what they believe in." Apart from the theology, have you noticed their behavior? They claim it's the Holy Spirit. I claim it's not normal. Read on and you'll see even more.
One of the things that seems occult to me about Bethel Church is the so-called "grave soaking". Members of Bethel Church believe that they can take on (literally "soak up") the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit from the bones of deceased important people. New Age practices?
The photo shows the wife of the senior pastor Bill Johnson – Beni Johnson, lying on C.S. Lewis's grave and soaking up his anointing.
Here are the young people from Bethel Church at the cemetery, who came to draw anointing from the dead:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrHPTs8cLls
Members of the Bethel church are characterized by various physical manifestations, allegedly from the Holy Spirit, such as uncontrollable shaking, twitching and jerking of the body, uncontrollable screams, speaking in tongues, hysterical laughter, and the like. In this video, you can see these manifestations (a typical Bethel service, so you can imagine it):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8t3-IW6TVw
Even in the Catholic Church, there is a charismatic renewal, and there are communities where hands are raised in praise, someone falls under the influence of the Holy Spirit, or has the gift of glossolalia. However, this is from a completely different kettle of fish. These manifestations are so bizarre that every person must pause to consider them. But most importantly, these manifestations in Bethel Church strongly resemble the manifestations of the Kundalini spirit, which is the "serpent power" or energy from Eastern religions, Hinduism, and New Age.
Here is a document that compares these speeches:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfXmDkQiE2o&index=7&list=PL-oHIXiN_sr–fbkmWS0OKsfKAHdG5IQO
The document also includes representatives of other churches, not just Bethel. However, they are all united by the "Toronto Blessing" (later called "Catch the Fire"), which is a charismatic conference held regularly, and such physical manifestations are typical for it. Bill Johnson, the senior pastor, spoke in an interview about his experience after one such conference – how he suddenly woke up, was jolted from sleep at three in the morning, and began to shake as if he were connected to 1000 volts. Johnson attributes this to the Holy Spirit. It is remarkable that this happened exactly at three in the morning, which Satanists consider their hour – the opposite of three in the afternoon, when Jesus died.
In the following video, Bobby Connor preaches in Bethel Church and tells how an angel named Emma appears in Bethel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzj9oyE9I0Q
In the Bible, the word angel appears 282 times, but not once do we read about an angel with a female figure. This angel Emma, or rather we should say demon, appears in Eastern religions as a hellish deity. Undoubtedly, various signs and wonders appear in the Bethel church. But who is their originator? The devil also has the power to heal. The devil appeared to many saints in the form of the Virgin Mary. In the Gospel of Luke, we read: "Therefore be careful that the light within you is not darkness." (11:35)
Bethel Church teaches the so-called "positive confession theology". They refuse to preach repentance, sorrow for sins, claiming that it ended with Jesus' death. Read this testimony of how one pastor from Bethel Church rebuked this man for the word repentance, because they say we no longer have to repent, since He has already justified us:
" I went to a church in Denver who were following after the ways of Bill Johnson, and they hired someone from Bethel as an associate Pastor. As I was praying for the men's retreat, repentance was the word I got for the conference, and when that word was taken to the conference, this new Pastor rebuked that word and said that "we" no longer need to repent because we are His righteousness!!! Please!!!! "
When you listen to a few testimonies from people from Bethel, none of the testimonies are true testimonies of conversion. They are all just about supernatural experiences. For example, this testimony of the leader of Jesus Culture – Kris Quilala (Jesus Culture is a movement of young people from Bethel who also produce music). In the first seconds of the video, you can also see manifestations of evil spirits at the youth conference (they claim it's the Holy Spirit, but judge for yourself whether it reminds you more of heaven or hell, what's happening there), and then follows a testimony of an encounter with God:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob_yiiXw8pM
I ask: Is this a true testimony of conversion? Where is the knowledge that I am a sinner, that I need Jesus, the joy of salvation and true conversion, a change of mind? His whole testimony is only about how he shook and laughed for three hours. This is not conversion! It is all influenced by the teaching of Bill Johnson – he never preaches about conversion, repentance, or sin. Always only about experiences ("experience" is probably the most used word in Bethel). Come and experience. Experience how feathers fall from heaven to earth here, experience the revelation of the cloud of glory, experience the presence, experience healing. They are chasing experiences and signs. But what does Jesus say? "He said to them, 'A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign. But no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.'" (Mt 12:39)
But my faith is not about experiences. And what happens to those people later, when they are alone at night, the music fades, the cloud of glory and feathers from heaven disappear, and after the experience of "drunkenness in the Holy Spirit" they are left with only a spiritual "hangover"? It is in silence that God desires to gain your attention and lead you into a deeper relationship with Him. Into a relationship that is not based on these exciting experiences, but on a life of holiness: on a life of truth before the Lord: on confessing sins and allowing Jesus to transform me and live in me. They call their lifestyle "kingdom culture", but I call it "a culture of noise, flashing lights, false gospel and imitation of this world". Is it the church pretending to be the world, or the world pretending to be the church?
Bethel Church preaches the "prosperity gospel" – the gospel of prosperity, of success. Its members believe that Jesus gave them the keys to the kingdom, that they are God's sons and daughters, and thus have power over everything. They believe they have spiritual power for success in this world. They do not acknowledge poverty. They pray to break the spirit of poverty because they are convinced that poverty is "demonic." Signs and wonders often occur in Bethel Church, such as gold dust on people's faces and palms, golden rain or diamonds from heaven, and golden teeth. However, as far as I know, Jesus was born in a poor stable; rather, the devil is into such things. He tempts people with mammon.. On the contrary, Jesus said: “Sell what you have and give to the poor. Make for yourselves purses that do not wear out, a treasure in heaven that never fails, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.” (Luke 12:33) And “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26)
Bill Johnson claims that miracles and healings are why he lives. In an interview, he stated that his goal is a church and a city without cancer. He does not believe in sickness and suffering. He said that if someone is sick, the problem is not in God's hands, but in ours. It is interesting to hear this from his mouth, since both he and his wife wear glasses. So why don't these miracles work on his poor eyesight? His son is also almost deaf and wears a hearing aid. And where did the meaning of suffering in Christianity go? Paul says: "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and in my flesh I fill up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, which is the Church." (Col. 1:24) . And Jesus says: "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." (Mt. 16:24) What Bill Johnson preaches is absolutely unbiblical.
Bethel, in his enthusiasm for experiences, signs, wealth, influence, power, and self-fulfillment in this world, must despise the real purpose for which Christ came and for which He humbled Himself while on earth. Bill Johnson even says, “It is not that we do not matter, and that only Jesus matters. Many people model the prayer of John the Baptist: ‘He must increase, and I must decrease.’ But that is not a prayer for us. John the Baptist closes a period as the greatest prophet of the Old Testament. He has passed the baton to Jesus, who has begun the existence of the kingdom of God on earth. The focus shifts from John and the Law to Jesus and the kingdom. John had to decrease and Jesus had to increase. But when Jesus left the earth, He did not say that we must decrease. What is needed is not less of us and more of Him, but what is needed is that we all be covered and filled with Him.” (from Hosting the Presence ) “God works with this instinct and leads us to OUR POTENTIAL through promise and infinite possibilities. God has given every person a sense of hope for a better future.” Johnson urges people to follow their dreams. But Jesus says, “Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Their entire religion is intensely egocentric, focused on self-fulfillment, exploiting potential, seizing power. Where is the humility? They don’t pray, “Lord, heal him if it is your will,” but they pray, “Lord, heal him because you have given me the power to heal.”
Let's look at other misconceptions. In this video, a Godzon member tells us about going on missions to Africa, inspired by Heidi Baker, who is also associated with the Toronto Blessing and preaches at Bethel Church:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2399R0vJYE
Who is this Heidi Baker? Watch one of her "lectures":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DM5FmZxBQI
Is this supposed to be a sermon or an evangelistic message? Do you know what the famous David Wilkerson would say to her? This: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvoAGEZf-nI
He tells the story of a preacher who got on the platform and started laughing and shaking uncontrollably while preaching, saying it was the Holy Spirit, which is typical of Bethel. Wilkerson is outraged by this and says, “The Holy Spirit who wrote the Bible, and who says in it, ‘The truth will set you free,’ do you think the Holy Spirit would call people into ministry who would laugh so hard that they couldn’t preach the Word?” If you watch this video to the end, you will cry like Wilkerson does.
The main motto of Bethel church is "as in heaven, so on earth". But if heaven is supposed to be about people writhing on the ground like snakes, shaking, making animal sounds, screaming and laughing hysterically, then thank you, but I am not asking for such a heaven. I have much higher demands on heaven. As a royal child of God (which they strongly believe we are), I consider their behavior and manifestations to be absolutely unworthy of a human being and a royal child.
Here is a short clip of some of Heidi Baker's performances, showing how she never says: "God", but the plural: "gods"!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEdPTHl7v1k
Sometimes the "s" at the end is even drawn out as if it were hissing. And who is hissing? A snake. And a snake is a sign of whom? The devil. Does no one really stop to think that he says "gods" instead of "God"? Are the Godzonists that blind?
Here you can see Heidi preaching at Bethel church, with Bill Johnson in the foreground. What you see there are delusions and demonic manifestations:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16H84rcaqyk
You can see people crowning each other with imaginary crowns. But in Revelation 4:10 it says that the elders took their crowns off their heads, threw them before the throne, and worshiped God. Here people crown each other. Isn't that wrong? And what that young man in the front is experiencing, what they call the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, looks like the greatest suffering. He looks like he's screaming in agony. Is this God? God would never want you to suffer like this or be disabled like this.
We could go on like this forever, there is a lot of evidence of the incorrectness of the Bethel church's teachings. It is interesting that there are dozens of Protestant churches, but Godzone chose this controversial church with heretical teachings as its inspiration. What kind of spirituality does Godzone want to bring us? When a collection is made annually for Catholic media, the money also goes to the Godzone project – Godzone magazine is regularly broadcast on TV Lux. Do people know what they are supporting? I refuse to have my money used for a project that is inspired by such a New Age movement. I ask why the Catholic Church allows this connection to Bethel church and why it supports it. I call on everyone involved in the Godzone project to renounce the spirit of Bethel and remove all connections with this controversial movement. You can start by downloading the part of Godzone magazine from the TV Lux archive, which is dedicated to Bethel. Because Lux claims to be "a Catholic television station, which is the fruit of cooperation between the Bishops' Conference of Slovakia and LUX communication. It offers programming in accordance with the teachings and life of the Catholic Church." But Bethel Church's promotion is not only anti-Catholic, it is downright occult.
