There is a big barrier between religious and non-religious people. While religious people live in their own bubble, non-religious people also live in their own bubble. Few non-religious people know the official teaching of the Catholic Church on sexuality. Any practicing Christian who violates all the prohibitions in the field of sexuality that I will now mention will then confess it to the priest and confess their sin.
The Catholic Church is essentially a sect that, according to its official teachings, prohibits:
– contraception (the only tolerated method of contraception is the menstrual cycle tracking method, but even with this method, it is forbidden to use a thermometer, although it is very important)
– masturbation
– oral sex
-intercourse interruptus
– any sexual positions other than the missionary position
– any sexual experiments
– according to the church, sexual intercourse must last as short as possible
A girl told me that as part of the preparation for her confirmation, the priest told them that sexual intercourse should be as short as possible and that the man should climax as soon as possible. This was not the private opinion of the priest but the official teaching of the Catholic Church.
According to the official teaching of the Catholic Church, sexual intercourse is only permitted for the purpose of procreation, and anything else is lust and sin. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, the highest authoritative teaching of the Catholic Church, states the following:

2351 Lust (luxuria) is the disordered desire for or disordered pleasure of sexual pleasure. Sexual pleasure is morally disordered when it is sought for its own sake, separated from its procreative and unitive purposes, which are proper to conjugal love.
Some Christians cannot afford a child for economic reasons and still use contraception, but then they go to confession to the priest.
If only the Catholic Church, instead of religious brainwashing in poor developing countries, would distribute condoms to people instead of encouraging them to reproduce and have children!!!

The third referendum question was about banning sex education in schools. Many non-religious people naively fell for the entire propaganda of the Alliance for the Family without even understanding what the religious fanatics who initiated the referendum were actually after.
A religious fanatic (or a practicing Catholic Christian) can be upset if their child learns about contraception, masturbation, sexual positions, or oral sex at school. This is the real reason why religious activists wanted to ban sex education by referendum.
All the fools who fell for the propaganda of the Alliance for the Family or who spread pro-referendum propaganda either by sharing it on social networks or in alternative media will blush after reading this article, realizing how stupid they were to fall for it.

2352 The term onanism (masturbation) should be understood as the deliberate stimulation of the genitals in order to produce sexual pleasure. "Both the teaching office of the Church in the course of its constant tradition, as well as the moral sense of the faithful in Christ, have not hesitated to affirm that onanism is an act that is intrinsically (by its very nature) and gravely disordered," because "the conscious and voluntary use of the sexual faculty outside of normal marital intercourse – whatever the reason – is essentially contrary to its purpose." Sexual pleasure is sought here outside of sexual intercourse, "as required by the moral order, namely intercourse that, in an atmosphere of true love, realizes the full meaning of mutual self-giving and human procreation."
In order to form a correct judgment about the moral responsibility of individuals and to guide pastoral activity, it is necessary to take into account emotional immaturity, the strength of acquired habits, states of anxiety or other psychological or social factors that may diminish moral guilt, or even reduce it to the minimum.
PURITY AND HOMOSEXUALITY
2357 Homosexuality refers to relationships between men or women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction to persons of the same sex. Over the centuries and in different cultures, it has taken very different forms. Its psychological origin remains largely unexplained. Tradition, based on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual relations as a very serious perversion, has always proclaimed that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to natural law.
They close the sexual act before the gift of life. They do not come from a true emotional and sexual complementarity. In no way can they be approved.
2358 A considerable number of men and women have deep-seated homosexual tendencies. This objectively disordered inclination is a trial for most of them. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity, and any sign of unjust discrimination against them must be avoided. These persons are also called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite the difficulties they may encounter as a result of their condition with the Lord's sacrifice on the cross.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery, which educate in interior freedom, sometimes with the help of disinterested friendship, prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
