The Bible itself questions the very highest and most fundamental dogma of Christianity, without which Christianity cannot exist: and this dogma is the Divinity of Christ. No Christian has the slightest doubt that Jesus is God. But this article will open a Christian's eyes. This article will force every Christian to abandon their Christian faith. a) False arguments against the church
The Church probably refers to this verse the most, that Jesus is God: They proceed from the logic that the Word=God=Jesus
The Gospel According to John – Chapter 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
The correct translation of verse 14 according to Peshitta is as follows (the slash has the meaning that it separates two possible alternatives of the correct translation of the same word. That is, one word can have more meanings in translation) :
" The Word became flesh/came alive in us"
Explanation: the term word refers to the Kingdom of God, certainly not to Jesus himself
Even the Vulgate, although it has an incorrect translation, uses the preposition "in" not "among": And the Word became flesh and dwelt in us.
Furthermore, the church argues that this verse could refer to the Divinity of Christ:
The Epistle to the Colossians – Chapter 1
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation,
Note: every human is created in the image of God according to the book of Genesis, so it is an invalid argument
The Epistle to the Hebrews – Chapter 1
2 In these last days he has spoken to us in the Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the universe.
Note: Gnostics, as well as the Gospel of Thomas, speak of achieving a kind of mystical state, when a person, as if with their mind and soul, gets to the beginning – even before the creation of the world. This mystical state can therefore be achieved by an ordinary believer, it does not only concern Jesus.
The Holy Scripture also often says that Jesus is the Lord. However, it should be noted that the word Lord does not unequivocally mean the word God. It is true that in the old Greek translation, Yahweh is translated as Lord, but that in itself means nothing.
The word Kyrios is translated as Lord, Master, King.
Many Christians refer to this verse when it comes to the Divinity of Christ. The catch, however, is that it is poorly translated from Greek.
The Gospel According to John – Chapter 20
28 Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"
The correct literal translation is "The Lord is mine and God is mine", which can be interpreted as an exclamation "Lord God". The pronoun "my" is clearly incorrect. and this meaning was added later by biased Christian translators to Strong's translation database
b) Sons of God
The highest title given to Jesus is "Son of God". However, ordinary believers are also called sons of God, not just Jesus.
The church tries to distort this fact, that the sons of God, the children of God, is not meant so literally.
This is how the church has been deceiving and continues to deceive believers for centuries, even though the evidence is clear.
The Epistle to the Romans – Chapter 8
16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children .
21 that even creation itself will be set free from the slavery of decay, to share in the freedom and glory of the children of God .
The Gospel According to Luke – Chapter 20
36 They can no longer die, for they are like angels and are sons of God , because they are sons of the resurrection.
The Gospel according to Matthew – Chapter 5
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God .
The Epistle to the Romans – Chapter 8
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God .
19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God ,

8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are God's children , but the children of the promise who are counted as offspring.
